Democrat Rep. Ayanna Pressley, has introduced legislation to allow incarcerated U.S. citizens to vote in federal elections.
The Massachusetts lawmaker also reaffirmed her support for lowering the voting age to 16. (snip) The bill is cosponsored by Sen. Peter Welch, a Vermont Democrat.
Pressley argued that individuals in prison or those with a criminal record are “wrongfully stripped of their sacred right to vote and denied the opportunity to participate in our democracy.”

Convicted felons lose a number of rights, voting being one. All the whining aside by “Karen” Pressley, the loss of voting rights is something that is given up by the choices a felon makes, according to preset rules in their state. If they don’t like the rules of their state, they can move. Better yet, dob’t do the time.

Not much different than how they cater to Hamas supporters, CAIR, etc., the DNC is the party of hardened criminals and woke perversions.

And to make it easier for their vote to be cast, we will go ahead and vote for them because we know how they should vote. A favorite Democrat tactic known as ballot harvesting.

Anything a democrat thinks is absolutely sick and abnormal. The whole communist democratic agenda is anti American, corrupt to the core, containing zero morals, values or respect for authority. They no longer believe a man is a man and a woman is a woman and 2+2 no longer = 4. This is how sick that party is. There are no words that can clearly describe how sick and mentally ill these people really are.

A 16 year old cannot enter into a contract, smoke, buy Marijuana, or buy and drink alcohol and this person says they should be able to vote?

Criminals are a constituency. Legalized corruption is still corruption. Ayanna Pressley should not be in Congress.

Let's see a Republican introduce a bill to allow felons and former felons to possess guns, as they've been 'wrongfully stripped of their sacred right' to keep and bear arms. I want to see her and the dims get behind that bill, to protect the constitution and our 'democracy!'

If the r's believe it will provide them with some votes and money for their coffers they will go along. They're not going to oppose it because it is a bad idea or a wacky radical left wing d proposal.

A better option would be to replace the 26th amendment and return the voting age to 21.
Back in 1971 due to the Vietnam War, it was pushed to reduce the voting age to 18 since "you could send a man off to war but he can't vote" was the tool being used.
Since that time, we've increased the legal age to drink to 21, buy alcohol and buy cigarettes.
I'd even be for raising the age to join the military.
Nearly all states (except 6) have 21 as minimum age to join law enforcement.
Many Democrats want to have 21 be the age to buy a firearm.
So, if all of these "life decisions" are at 21, why are we allowing 18-20 year olds to vote?
Lowering it to 16 is insane.
