Black Lives Matter Rhode Island leader Mark Fisher said Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” that he was endorsing former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential race.
Co-host Lawrence Jones asked, “This is my favorite story of the day because it identifies what I have seen in the barbershop. All the brothers, for some reason right now are turning tides right now. I just wonder what is the big reason?”Fisher said, “I think personally it’s the duplicity of the Democrats, the hypocrisy. We are not stupid. The brothers are not stupid. We understand when someone is for us and when someone is not.

Neither is the Republican party when you riot, have mass theft raids and burn down cities.

If I were PDJT, I might have to say thanks, but no thanks. There is nothing good from BLM.

Welcome, Mr. Fisher, and you are so right, the Democrats are not a help to the family. ... I am wondering whether the other commenters read the interview. ... I think we would all agree with what he said.

In the interview, Fisher gives a level view of why black support for President Trump has skyrocketed.

Mark Fisher is so right. When Trump was president, black workers saw their wages rise and their taxes fall. This man has his head on straight.

The best job and economic opportunity days ever for African Americans were during President Trump's term in office. The Democrats' and media's efforts to smear him as a racist were and are ridiculous, and more black people are starting to openly say so. Will it be enough?

The BLM mission was to riot, loot, and burn down businesses- many owned by Black people. Most shootings of Blacks are by other Blacks. This isn’t racist, it’s reality. Expecting the government to make your life better is pathetically fruitless.

Now if only the Republicans would offer a real alternative to the Democrats. They might keep some of these defectors on their side.

I listened to Fisher's live interview with Kilmeade yesterday. The guy gets it where most blacks don't. They need to be taught to help themselves instead of taking democrat handouts and voting on promises or they will be stagnant and dependent forever. Seemed quite intelligent.

Yeah, we'll take electoral support for President Trump. However, your burning, looting, and pillaging ways have to cease yesterday.
Then again, if the Department of Injustice pursued all the BLM rioters as vociferously as they do J6 innocents, there wouldn't be much of a boost in support for President Trump anyways.

The video is impressive. It doesn't not seem to be a pose. He comes across as a man who has been conned and sees that now.
The great Thomas Sowell was a devout marxist in his young days until education carried him away to great heights.
If Mr. Fisher recognizes the con- as all on this site do- and understands that the future lies in living our lives productively not in burning down neighborhoods and institutions to "correct" the past (that is the con, those actions further Dim Elites' interests, not the participants' well being), then America yet lives.

Remember when David Duke endorsed President Trump and the left went nuts? Donald Trump had to disavow the endorsement because he had nothing to do with David Duke. He should do the same with this endorsement from the criminal BLM.

Mark Fisher is the Rhode Island state leader of BLM. He is not Patrice Cullers, the national BLM grifter who bought the mansions and paid her brother-in-law to be "security". I would compare his situation to any conservative Republican state leader who has finally seen the light about Ronna McDaniel and the RNC. Like many blacks and whites, he bought into the "sentiment" that "black lives matter" beyond the BS of the poster boy of George Floyd...until he saw the corruption and manipulation of his "community" against the real progress that was gained under President Trump's administration.
I'm willing to give Mr. Fisher the benefit of the doubt. When a black leader begins to come over to conservative thinking we need to give him support, not grief. We need to be the home of the brave.
