The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department notified Vince Ricci, the Los Angeles Mid-City homeowner who opened fire on armed suspects who tried to get into his house, that his carry permit had been revoked. Last Sunday, Ricci was returning to his home when he turned the tide on two would-be-armed robbers when he drew his own licensed concealed firearm and opened fire on them. Ricci had just returned to his home after going to the gym when the two armed robbers ran into his front yard and confronted him at his front door. They tried to force their way into the home as Ricci was unlocking the front door.

Just from the outside looking in, the people of Los Angeles might be better off arming themselves and revoking the permits for the sheriff's department

The L.A. Police (& Sheriff) Department used to be among the best and most effective local law enforcement agencies in the world. Now they've essentially been turned into "crime report stenographers" for the Democrat Party apparatchiks that run the city and state. Too bad. L.A. and California were great, safe places to grow up. Glad we got out of there after the Democrats turned it into a very expensive and very dangerous hellhole.

This type of thing won't stop until we assassinate all the oligarchs who with their money subvert our freedoms.

we heard a tale about the castle doctrine years ago in which it was said only to apply
if the baddies had successfully entered your castle; then, you can use lethal force.
so if the bad guy is crawling in your window-help him. pull him in-then shoot him.
these gits were pushing at the door to forcibly enter. was one of them actually over the threshold?

FTA: “Ricci is now a defenseless citizen when he goes out in public because he can no longer carry a firearm.”
This man has every right, by nature, to defend to himself and his family. What mental midget public servants think they can play God and take that away?

Ricci, most happy that you and your family survived the robbery attempt. Not sure why he would have had the time to dial 911. Ricci, your next step - leave LA.

He should have been carrying a Judge. He wouldn't have missed and the investigation would have been over in minutes.

Obviously in Kalifornia you can get a carry permit, but it will be revoked if you ever use it in self defense.

In democrat run cities, police are tools of the far left. Even in smaller communities there were several recent instances where local police provided assistance to federal gestapo agents who carried out political persecution raids against conservatives, e.g., the raid at the gun shop in Montana, and the Mark Houck outrage.

Revoked not because of his actions that day...but because when cops came days later for "Further investigation" he complained not only about the delayed follow up, but that prior cops did not collect evidence left at the scene, that could gave identified the armed "Attempted Murderers". Finger prints on shell casings could/would identify the perps.
NOW everyone in the world has his name and address, and the perps can track him down knowing he has been disarmed.
Funny the "Law" doesn't take guns away from Cops everytime they are rude to a citizen, it didn't disarm the Cops who were and are still being rude to Ricci, nor has it disarmed the perps who were rude enough to attack him with guns at his own front door.
I couldn't get cops to even dust for prints after a burglary, they said their were too many possible "Other prints" that "Might" make doing so a waste of time...I pointed out that there were only TWO people that had ever been inside the house in the prior 4 years, and both individuals(my father and Me) were easily available to exclude them. One of the items stolen was a gun.

fta: "On Thursday, Ricci stated that the Sheriff's Department called him to let him know that his permit to carry a concealed firearm had been revoked because he "yelled" at responding LAPD officers a few days later when they came out to investigate the incident further. "
I hate to tell the LA rent a cops but being rude to a cop doesn't negate your 2A rights. I bet this goes to court.

So you have a permit from California to legally carry a gun...
but you have to have another one to actually USE it?
