The EPA's War Against Cars

Original Article

Americans justly love cars, for necessity, for pleasure, and everything in between. In all we drive more than three trillion miles per year, in 290 million registered cars, of which some 287 million are internal combustion engines. Today’s cars are without doubt among the most highly evolved, reliable, innovative and efficient forms of production ever witnessed. Exactly the prime target you would expect from the Biden administration. The EPA has announced planned emission regulations that will end the U.S. automotive industry as we know it, while simultaneously forcing Americans into EV cars they manifestly do not want. The proposed regulations are being called “the single most important regulatory initiative

This is a politically induced famine. It is impossible to feed and house people in the first world without conventional energy and transportation. People had better wake up to this harsh reality, and very soon.

Biden destroyed our energy Independence the first day of his presidency. Along with that he destroyed our economy, caused inflation ,destroyed our borders, and helped Faucci kill untold numbers of people with their fake vaccine. We gave Afghanistan 81 Billion dollars worth of equipment that is now showing all over the Mideast and he helped the terrorist nation Iran with money to build their Nuke. Chevy and Ford are both pulling back with their RV plans because no one can afford their electric cars The UAW which backed Joe Biden is on strike looking for a 40% pay raise while cars are not selling. California just raised their Minimum pay to $20 dollars meaning the price of everything else will go up increasing inflation again. The Stock Market is i9n the crapper IRA's are down, and Biden and Harris are running again. God help us. The last thing we need is a dying Joe Biden being run by Obama for another 4 years.

It is not only the EPA it is also the Department of Transportation and the fuel mileage regulations. Cars have become light weight plastic containers that don' protect the occupants. After they force us out of vehicles they will mandate what we can eat.

I would like someone to explain to me--if CO2 is the "cause" of "climate change", and trees and plants give off CO2, should we chop down our trees and plants? Seriously, this has vexed me ever since they began hectoring (and lying to) us about "global warming" and Climate change".

EV cars we do not want ? That is only a PART of the story. It's EV cars we cannot possibly use. There are 400+ apts in our immediate locale. There are 4 charging stations at a local library, 4 at a local shooping center parking lot, and 4 more at a supermarket parking lot 4 miles away. That is one charging station for about each 35 cars. There is no way to charge from the apts. The number of charging stations per car is miniscule, considering that the ones in the parking lots may be used by folks from outside this locale; We have cold winters. Kindly explain to us how we can use their outlanding vehicles. I am waiting.

I was born in 1950 and grew up in an age where air pollution was at its maximum. I only knew one kid with asthma, no autistic nor ADHD and the earth was said to be cooling. Then Nixon created the EPA. Sure there were pollution issues which needed to be addressed but the msin ones are not overly difficult nor expensive to address; but the final fixes become expensive with unintended consequences. Bureaucracies are self promoting and will always find reasons to continue to exist. Primarily: "we gotta protect our phoney baloney jobs!!

OK #9 - Tree, plants etc. DO NOT give off CO2 - They absorb it and produce Oxygen !!!! Humans and animals consume Oxygen , and produce CO2 by breathing !!!! A marvelous symbiotic relationship wouldn't you say !!! So, you are being lied to when you are told that we MUST REDUCE CO2 or we're ALL GONNA DIE !. CO2 accounts for about .04 percent - that's 1 /25 of ONE PERCENT of the atmosphere !!!!!! If we had 25 TIMES as much CO2 as we have now it would be 1% of the atmosphere !! The climate on this planet has always been and still is is in a constant state of flux - changing ALL THE TIME but the changes are so slow that they aren't very noticeable ! That big bright thing up in the sky that's difficult to look directly at is what controls this planet's climate. Hucksters have learned that if you scare people enough, especially with things the people have no control over or do not understand ( radiation, germs, pollution, climate change ..etc. ) they can be controlled - frightened into doing ALMOST ANYTHING the huckster deems necessary to save everyone from the approaching calamity / catastrophe !!

Remember St. George of Fentanylville, the career criminal who once held a gun to the belly of a pregnant woman? He was martyred while resisting arrest for a felony, after having fought his way out of the squad car and requiring four adult male officers to wrestle him to the ground. Whether he died from the weight of the officers or from a drug overdose is open for debate. But what is undebatable is the epilogue. American cities burned and innocents were murdered in response to this supposed revelation of American systemic racism against blacks. It looks like Hamas realizes that is is outmatched by Israel’s military power, and is getting desperate. According to recent reports, Hamas is now offering to release civilian hostages in exchange for a short, five-day ceasefire. "Although the terms have varied in recent weeks, Hamas has indicated most recently that it would release all civilian hostages in exchange for a five-day pause, according to diplomats familiar with the discussions who spoke on the condition of anonymity about the sensitive matter. Israeli military captives, whose precise number is unknown, would be retained, possibly to eventually be offered in trade for Palestinian prisoners in Israel,” reports The Washington Post.

The Washington Post has a story today about the network of tunnels dug beneath Gaza by Hamas fighters. The entire network is estimated to stretch over 300 miles despite the Gaza strip being on 25 miles long. It’s where Hamas fighters have been hiding out since the start of Israel’s military response to the 10/7 attack. But the IDF has no intention of entering the tunnels which are likely booby-trapped. Israeli military protocol generally prohibits regular ground troops from entering tunnels, as the chances of being killed or captured is too high. Sometimes it takes a punch to the gut or a slap in the face. For many “civilized” people the instinct is to deescalate, to appease an adversary, based on the belief that civilized people do their best to avoid fights. It’s a tactic that is smart when dealing with other civilized people. Generally speaking, fighting is a losing proposition, and if you can resolve a dispute by talking and compromise the chances that the costs of compromise will be lower than the costs of fighting are high. But this instinct is wrong, even stupid when dealing with uncivilized people. Their goals and attitudes are fundamentally different and they see appeasement

The unambiguous loser of the Iran vs Israel war is Joe Biden's Middle East policy. Any plausible continuation requires a completely different set of people, policies and approach. The former road now seems fundamentally flawed. It's not a question of waiting for things to blow over and keep going because the errors were more than tactical. The whole world view on which it was premised has gone out of date. Are we entering a period of institutional, social and technological discontinuity where the old progressive saws no longer apply? “This may be the most dangerous time the world has seen in decades,” JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon said in a statement

The Democratic Party is undergoing a civil war over Gaza and Israel. Traditional Democrats like Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are pro-Israel. Possibly this has something to do with the fact that American Jews contribute a large portion–last time I saw the numbers, more than half–of all campaign funds for Democratic candidates. To be fair, however, it may also reflect basic human decency. But the newer generation of Democrats, represented by the Squad, is not impressed. They hate Israel and don’t much like Jews. And the Squad speaks for lots of Democrats: Joe Biden’s approval ratings have fallen among Democrats, apparently because many object to the pro-Israel stance

The House Oversight Committee has no IRS records or loan documents confirming the $200,000 check Jim Biden wrote to his brother Joe Biden in 2018 was a ‘loan repayment.’ House Oversight Chairman James Comer demanded IRS records and applicable loan documents proving Joe Biden loaned his brother James money. The Bidens often structure their income as ‘loans’ to avoid paying taxes. The idiom for pregnancy, “a bun in the oven,” which traces its origins back more than 2,000 years to Ancient Greece, is in fact “misogynistic,” according to Kathleen Crowther, an historian of reproductive medicine at the University of Oklahoma. Crowther insists the idiom reduces the role of the mother to a mere incubator after the majority of the work has been done by the man. “I don’t think most people who use that metaphor are being misogynistic.” “But I think it actually does come from a deeply misogynistic tradition of thinking about women’s bodies as passive,” she argues.
