Democratic California Rep. Adam Schiff has reportedly been living in Maryland for two decades, documents that surfaced Wednesday showed. Mortgage records revealed Schiff claimed his 3,420 square foot property in Maryland as his primary residence, according to CNN. The congressman also reportedly claimed his 650 square foot condo in Burbank, California, as his primary residence to reduce his $7,000 tax bill. (Snip) Along with public records and past comments, pictures previously shared on his public social media indicate Schiff’s main residence is at his Maryland property, CNN noted. The Maryland home was reportedly listed as Schiff’s primary residence in 2003

Some years ago, a Washington state legislator, democrat of course, lived in Hawaii but used a garage in Seattle as his residence. He did this for several years before someone found out.

I'll trade you 78 charges against Trump for two charges against shift for brains and a charge against Pelosi.

I once lived in a tiny one bedroom apartment in Newport Beach. Single at the time. Just about the size of his condo.
He lies.

California or Maryland there is no difference between to two states. In fact, the phrase California of the east was used several times by media people years ago, and they used it as if was a compliment.

I had to drive through Maryland a month ago. This story explains the feelings of utter despair I felt, and the smell. I thought maybe it was their gun laws.

We had a city manager who was required to live in our city but his wife and family wanted to live in a "better town." The guy bought a small house in town. A couple locals realized he never put trash out and had a miniscule utility bill.

He lied to us repeatedly during the years of trump persecution. Now we see he is apparently a tax cheat who is likely ineligible to have residence to be a Ca rep, and he owns property valued in excess of his pay grade, suggesting other problems. Why am I surprised?

Probably down the street from Nevada's Steven Horsford, who occasionally visits Nevada, usually once every two years, for some reason.

Low hanging political fruit ripe for the picking. The big question is whether or not any conservative Republican candidate is bold enough to really make it a winning campaign issue. Big enough to win one of the top two places in the Jungle Primary.

Well, we watched Schiff-For-Brains LIE continually during President Trump's term in office ..."I've Got The PROOF!" he brayed, over, and over, and over.
He lies about everything else. Why should we expect him to tell the truth to the tax people?
Why should anyone believe him about ANYTHING?
He makes me think of something my Dad, a WWII combat veteran Marine sergeant, used to say:
"What are you complaining about? We have the Best Congress that MONEY CAN BUY!"

During my college years in the early 1970s in central New Mexico, I lived in a rundown adobe house with a couple of former dorm mates for $30/month. My room had about 150 square feet of space. But that was all I needed to claim NM residency, get an NM driver's license, and in-state tuition. It was a matter of financial survival.
But I rather doubt that Pencil Neck struggles financially. Besides he desires to stay close to where his House cash cow buddies lives.

Not surprised. The odious Mad Maxine has her California residence in the district next to the one she represents. She doesn’t even own a closet in her district.

If he rarely steps foot in the place, who lives there. Does he have a special friend? That answers my grandfather's ancient question, "If you aren't a crook, why are you in politics?"

Schiff has just broken more laws than anything for which he spent over a year trying to "get" Donald Trump. Pencil neck is still California garbage no matter where he claims his home to be.

Maybe an enterprising activist could do to Schiff what a journalist did to Lucianne Goldberg some years ago. Secretly set cameras up outside on the street and take pictures of who comes in and out of each of those houses.
