CHICAGO – As the suburbs continue to take a stand on arriving migrants, Chicago is running out of funds to help them, and space to house them. As CBS 2's Marybel Gonzalez reported, migrants are still choosing Chicago as their landing spot in the U.S. Even as temperatures drop in Chicago, the city continues to be a hot spot for new arrivals. CBS 2 spoke with a person running some of the shelters along the southern border about why this could be. "What we're seeing is that it is fluctuating greatly from day to day," said John Martin. Most of these "migrants" have never experienced temperatures below 60 degrees F and don't know any better. That first blast of freezing wind off Lake Michigan will teach them in a hurry that they screwed up. Ironically, way back when I was stationed in Puerto Rico, most of the young ladies there had a dream of going to New York to live a life of promised glamour. They did not realize that where they were living at present was the real paradise. That's why Obama calls them all "Dreamers."

I think they are making an excellent choice. And if they change their minds, California is offering them free medical care. The southern states will wish you well on your journey out of their state.

" Migrants " ? Had enough . They're felons, law breakers, and it's our government that's breaking our laws by importing these people. None are vetted. All are dumped in cities across America, with taxpayers picking up the bills for their upkeep.

I was in Chicago for business in October and saw a patch a guy's backpack that said, "Chiberia". I wondered what that was about. When I came back in February, it made sense.

Poor and uneducated Third World origin illegal aliens (migrants) after gaining entry to the USA most always go to places in the USA where they have friends or relatives and where they are told they will qualify to receive the most "free" social welfare benefits. The big leftist and socialist Democrat run cities are where the vast majority of the Biden and leftist and socialist Democrat aligned nongovernmental organizations (NGOS) and leftist and socialist Democrat operatives are located who assist illegal aliens in getting those social welfare benefits. There is a push now to provide the illegal aliens with "free" government issued photo ID cards at both the Federal level and in the big Democrat run cities. Once in possession of those ID cards in the liberal States, illegal aliens can then apply for US drivers licenses and when they apply for those licenses they are also given the opportunity to register to vote in US elections, without fear, as under provisions of the Clinton era so-called Motor-Voter laws local voter registrars are prohibited from questioning the citizenship of any person registering to vote. So you can see why this mass uncontrolled illegal immigration is encouraged, invited, and sanctioned by Biden and the leftist and socialist Democrats, who are all for flooding the USA with illegal aliens (migrants) who are considered to be members of recognized minority groups in accordance with Democrat identity politics who leftist and socialist Democrat operatives can easily manipulate into becoming Democrat supporters and future voters upcoming US elections. As large numbers of illegal aliens (migrants) arrive in the Democrat run big sanctuary cities, that Mayors of those cities are urging Biden and the Federal Government to send them unlimited billions of US taxpayers dollars to cover all the costs or resettling the unlimited numbers of illegal aliens (migrants) who are continuing to arrive in those Democrat run sanctuary cities, and never mention that those illegal aliens should be removed from their cities and the USA in accordance with the current US immigration laws that were constitutionally passed by Congress, remember to those mayors the illegal aliens are considered to be future leftist and socialist Democrat supporters and voters by the tens of millions in the years ahead. The leftist and socialist congressional Democrats figure that they can cow the wimpy congressional Republicans to help them pass a series of Democrat designed "path to citizenship" amnesties and other legalization programs that will grant the illegal alien population naturalized US citizenship and of course US voting rights to keep the leftist and socialist Democrats in permanent political power controlling both the Congress and the White House indefinitely. Chances are there are enough cheap foreign labor enamored wimpy Republicans and RINOS in the Congress to make that happen, even if such a political cave in to the Democrats would constitute long term political suicide for the wimpy Republicans.

KYIV, Ukraine — A gloomy mood hangs over Ukraine’s soldiers nearly two years after Russia invaded their country. Despite a disappointing counteroffensive this summer and signs of wavering financial support from allies, Ukrainian soldiers say they remain fiercely determined to win. But as winter approaches, they worry that Russia is better equipped for battle and are frustrated about being on the defensive again in a grueling war. Some doubt the judgment of their leaders. Discontent among Ukrainian soldiers — once extremely rare and expressed only in private — is now more common and out in the open. In the southern
