A strong cold snap is currently spreading across the US - bringing with it potential record lows for much of the country. Already felt in places like Denver, the abnormal chill will affect wide swathes of the Midwest, South, and East, forecasts show - including almost all the Lower 48 states. The single exception, meteorologists say, will be the Sunshine State - which, true to its name, is set to stay in the 70s and 80s.Elsewhere, in places like North Texas, temperatures are poised to drop like a rock

Now we will begin to see the effect of cold weather on the illegals, most of whom are from warmer parts of the world, and the effect of half frozen illegals on their particular city of residence. It could get ugly.

I'm glad I live in Florida. We're supposed to be in the 80's for Halloween, mid-60's Wednesday and then back to 70's and 80's by the weekend. I grew up in the snow zone and spent most of my adult life there. I'll happily take the sunshine and warm weather.

Yeah. And I turn on the Boob Tube this morning, and all I hear about is the record highs that occurred yesterday along the east coast. It's not so much that those temperatures didn't happen as the lack of any mention of a pretty historic cold snap already underway. They're not called the enemedia for nothing!

I'm with #2. We have FOG this morning, that's it! Going to be 80 with a low in the 40's here in Central Florida! I can live with that. Time to shut off the Air and open the Windows! Having lived in the Midwest most of my life, I miss having my windows open. I have neighbors who never open them, year around! Can't do that! I'm always first to open up!!

I had four grand nieces and nephews in for a visit, and we went Trick or Treating this evening. 24F, but no wind, so not so bad. Kids got lots of candy, finally tired of walking....but mostly actually running....and retired home and traded their loot. Now all are in bed, heading on west towards Colorado in the AM. It was the best Halloween for us in years. Four kids are a handful, but great, too. And Mama (niece) announced a couple of days ago that number five is on the way. GREAT news!

President Joe Biden said he 'bounced a few checks' when he was younger and joked that it was 'hard' to retreive old bank records at a White House event Tuesday debuting new rules to ban junk fees associated with retirement accounts. Biden was ripping into banks and credit unions for their fees when he made the eyebrow-raising comment about bank records. It comes after House Republicans last month subpoenaed the president and son Hunter's personal and business banking records, in an attempt to connect the elder Biden to his drug-addicted son's foreign business deals in Ukraine and China.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas revealed on Tuesday that 600,000 migrants evaded apprehension this year alone as they illegally crossed the border into the U.S. Additionally, Mayorkas did not have information readily available on whether the 169 terror watch list members who illegally crossed the southern border were in jail or deported. Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.) asked President Joe Biden's DHS head during a hearing Tuesday the recorded number of illegal border crossers who were able to evade his agents in the last year. He also asked about the status of terror watch list individuals.

An Israeli airstrike on Hamas targets Tuesday who had taken over civilian buildings in the northern Gaza Strip appears to have killed several terrorists — and caused underground tunnels to collapse, apparently expanding the initial damage caused by the strike. News reports Tuesday claimed, citing Hamas’s notorious health ministry, that 400 people had been killed and wounded in an airstrike on the Jabaliya neighborhood in Gaza, known officially as a “refugee camp,” though it consists of multi-story buildings. Hamas later downgraded the estimated number of casualties to 200 — 50 dead, it said, and 150 wounded. Photos showed a scene of collapsed buildings,

Over the past few years, we have been lectured to by professed scientists to “follow the science,” echoed by the corporate media that often sees financial gain in following particular views of science. For example, Pfizer is alleged to sponsor 15 television news shows, a sure fire way to get their version of “the science” (and their products) out to the masses. Much of the COVID dogma broadcast by the medical establishment and health authorities turned out to be wrong, from masks and lockdowns to vaccine efficacy and safety. A particularly telling example was the initial shift of small number of White Southern Democrats into the Republican Party in 1964, a little-noticed event that foretold the shift of nearly all Southern Whites into the GOP. Such shifts are tectonic insofar as they may eventually fundamentally change the political landscape. We may now be experiencing a tectonic shift of major magnitude, namely the exodus of Jews from liberalism.

A legal effort to use the Constitution's "insurrection" clause to block former President Donald Trump from running for office in 2024 is becoming a more serious threat as hearings begin in two states over cases that could reach the highest court. A weeklong hearing begins in Colorado on Monday over a lawsuit that cites the Civil War-era provision of the 14th Amendment that blocks those who swore an oath to uphold the Constitution and later "engaged in insurrection" from holding higher office. Oral arguments over a similar question also start at the Minnesota Supreme Court on Thursday.
