Since August 2021, the sprawling Obama Presidential Center complex has been taking shape in Jackson Park on what will be a 19.3 acre campus fronting on Stony Island Avenue and stretching from 62nd Street on the south to 59th Street on the north.
For months, the rising tower — which will house the museum dedicated to former President Barack Obama — has been visible to the surrounding Hyde Park neighborhood, already tall enough to call it a South Side landmark.
On Monday when I visited, the concrete shaping and supporting the tower, which will be the center’s signature structure, was still about 85 feet shy of its ultimate 235-foot height.

The lord Obama should be known as Ozymandias, after Shelley’s sonnet. When his monument is complete it will be surrounded by the wreckage of a once great city. Inscribed “Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair”.
Look it up.

Years ago, I was at the LBJ pres museum in Austin TX.
There was a section for Lady Bird.
Yup, photos of her childhood, the kids etc.
Hmm, will there be a section with MO's childhood photos?
(Like the actual high school yearbook with 'her' photo)

Will there be an exhibit containing a collection of Barry Soweto Obama's custom made crack pipes on display? Will there also be a collection of Our First Transvestite's voluminous panties with the extra pouch in front which was used to support Michael/Michelle's enormous junk? Based on the absolute devastation of our Country caused by the Obamas, it seems these two exhibits would be the only way to lure anyone into this obscene faux temple of our first communist dictator. South Side landmark! More like a South Side pile of feces.

It seems to me that presidential libraries are nothing more than a money laundering operation to keep the grift going for decades.

At the third to last paragraph (yes, I read the whole thing), the author drops this little factoid: "The National Archives and Records Administration owns all presidential papers and artifacts at the end of a presidency." Is this one of those "hidden truths" buried within the minutia of legislation that brought the NARA into being? Could this be true and the "hook" that traps President Trump? This would explain why the National Archives honchos refused the Trump Administration NARA staff to assist in the sorting and packing of his presidential materials. It was part of the set-up.

At least the current living former Presidents live in the states where their libraries were erected. When was the last time any of the Obamas visited Chicago? BTW - has anyone seen their dog Bo?

Just as soon as Obama is finished working Biden's strings, he will move the "family" permanently to Hawaii to avoid the mess caused by many years of illegal immigration.
