Democrats support Palestinians over Israel,
GOP overwhelmingly stands with US ally:
2023 poll

Original Article

More Democrats in the United States support Palestinians living in Gaza and the West Bank than Israel, the closest U.S. ally in the Middle East, according to a 2023 poll. Democratic sympathies for Palestinians has increased over the last decade, and a Gallup poll published in March 2023 found their affinity toward the Palestinians finally eclipsed their support of Israel, 49% to 38%. The attitudes from March reflected a continued decline in Israeli support, from 40% to 38% and an 11-point surge of support for Palestinian people, from 38% to 49%. The 38% support for Israel was a historic low

Comments:

Since this poll was taken in March, it’s probably a more accurate assessment than it would be if it were taken now.

Normal people have a hard time figuring out why American leftists constantly side with Islamic terrorists over our ally Israel - the only functioning democracy in the region. But once you understand that Islamic savages and ‘progressive’ democrat leftists have common enemies in free speech, individual liberty, free markets and the Judeo-Christian values that made America great and are allies in a war against Western Civilization . . . everything falls right into place. Simple, really.

Why is this surprising? Democrats support, defend, approve of and fund late term abortion, violence that advanced their agenda, censorship and punishment of political opponents, ANTIFA and BLM, criminals, looting, rioting, arson and quashing Christianity. In fact, they condem Christianity while defending Islam. So yeah....this isn't surprising at all.

The democrat plan of open borders is a death wish. Muslims coming in in bunches live together and have enough votes in the district to elect a hamas representative to our congress, like Tlaib in Michigan and the African one in Minnesota who married her brother, and is now also in congress. More districts will be developed. Look at all the crackpots being schooled in our colleges, like Harvard and such. We’re going downhill fast, thanks to the Democrat Party.

I just saw an article on MSNBC wailing about the destruction Israel is causing in Gaza and how horrible the attacks on innocent Palestinians is. The only pictures they showed of Israel were soldiers with artillery shells and Israeli reporters lying on the ground next to their car. No pictures of babies in Israeli settlements with their heads cut off or children's bullet riddled bodies. Not even a picture of a house burned down with the inhabitants inside. I guess all of the reporters for MSNBC are Democrats.

Of course, our American tolitatarians on the left figure that their "allies" in these terrorists groups will never come for them. I read a story of a kindly older Jewish lady who worked with the residents of Gaze for peace. She would escort residents of Gaza to Jerusalem for medical treatment, provide food and comfort. Current reports say that the woman's home was attacked this weekend by the Hamas "visitors." Her current whereabouts are unknown. Something tells me that her good works towards her fellow man in Gaza will not help her much at this time.

Well...Hamas and the their Iranian backers have made a major mistake. There will, of course, be the cowardly, mealy mouthed demand for a cease fire and “negotiations” to get Hamas time to re arm since they are now getting their a$$ kicked. Won’t work this time. The Jews in Israel will relentlessly hunt each and everyone down and kill them. Good for them. Hamas in a few months will cease to exist. They will all be dead. A major mistake. The IDF now has full backing to assassinate each and every jihadi down an kill them which is what they will do. It used to be, after a Hamas atrocity, the Jews would fire a few rockets or bombs on Hamas headquarters. Not now. Hamas and their running dogs are going to be exterminated. Now we see the usual suspects asking for “restraint.” Ain’t going to happen. All hellfire is being unleashed in Gaza. The Jews are staging to enter Gaza and if there are any innocents (which I doubt there are more a few) they had best flee. Israel has already cut off all water and electricity to Gaza. The next step is methodical house to house assassination of Hama and their sympathizers.

The Democratic Party is in a state of rhetorical paralysis. This weekend, as Palestinian terrorists streamed across the Israeli border, the White House maintained hours of thunderous silence. On Saturday, the Biden administration released a few limp paragraphs to the effect that “terrorism is never justified” and “Israel has a right to defend itself and its people.” This, after an uninterrupted outpouring of financial and oratorical support for Ukraine, is weak tea. But as the head of a party that is being overrun in not-so-slow motion by a vigorous young coterie of anti-Israel extremists, what more could Joe Biden say? What he should have said — what any decent person

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., criticized Israel on Wednesday for cutting off electricity, fuel, food and water to residents in the Gaza Strip, calling it a "serious violation of international law." "The targeting of civilians is a war crime, no matter who does it. Israel’s blanket denial of food, water, and other necessities to Gaza is a serious violation of international law and will do nothing but harm innocent civilians," said Sanders. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Monday ordered a "complete siege" on Gaza following the killing and kidnapping of civilians in southern Israel by Hamas terrorist fighters on Saturday. "We are fighting against human animals, and we act accordingly," he said.

During the 2020 election, now-President Joe Biden positioned himself as a return to political normalcy following the unusual rise of former President Donald Trump and his less-than-predictable presidency. But now, various crises at home and abroad threaten to paint Biden's tenure as anything but normal. On Saturday, Israel faced surprise attacks from Hamas terrorists, who breached the country's borders by land, air, and sea. Hundreds of Israeli civilians are dead, and thousands have been injured. Further, the armed terrorists captured civilians, taking them back to Gaza as hostages. The attack was the worst on Israel since the Yom Kippur War 50 years earlier.

Let’s be honest about Mark Milley’s legacy. To read the voluminous coverage of General Mark Milley’s retirement as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, one might mistakenly surmise that he is the greatest military patriot since George Washington. But the opposite is far closer to the truth. Promoted as the supposed savior of the republic by a well-orchestrated public relations campaign and a fawning press, Milley exhibited ambitions more akin to those of a partisan military commissar than the nation’s senior military adviser under the authority of the president. His tenure proved destructive to post-WWII civil-military norms, the integrity of the military chain of command, and the image

The sheer depravity of Hamas’s attack on Israel, during which its terrorists murdered close to 1,000 people and beheaded babies, is causing acute discomfort and splits in America’s Left. For many, this is not the same discomfort as is felt on the Right and in the center, where there is simple horror and instinctive sympathy with terrorized people who otherwise live freely and peaceably in a high-functioning democracy under the rule of law. For them, appalling cruelty and sadistic gloating by Hamas murderers unambiguously distinguish evil from good. Common decency and humanity incline ordinary people to side with the victims. These swift reflexes are supported by inescapable conclusions based on
