Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger has reportedly been left “overwhelmed and exhausted” by the challenge of righting the ship at the Mouse House, whose tanking stock price has spurred activist investor Nelson Peltz to further boost his stake in the firm.
People in Iger’s inner circle told Bloomberg News that the CEO, who recently returned to helm the company with great fanfare after the disastrous tenure of his handpicked successor, Bob Chapek, has often joked to confidantes: “Why did I come back?” Peltz, who called off his proxy fight with Disney in February after Iger committed to a $5.5 billion cost-cutting spree which included laying off 7,000 employees,

Stupidity can make you feel overwhelmed, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is stupid and insane

Of course its exhausting. If one is woke at all times, there is no time to rest and recover. Like the company itself. Its been woke at all times and has exhausted it customers. And Disney and Igor will have plenty of time to R & R once the company goes bankrupt.

That's why they raised prices again. Even trump can't afford the new rates.

Quite similar to the Bud Light fiasco. You simply have to know who your main customer base consists of. Disney had a huge base of traditional families taking their kids and grandkids to the parks and movies. These are not wokesters by any stretch of the imagination. They seriously hacked this base off with the LBQT/Trans/child grooming leaning to and promoting those values. They have lost once faithful customers and they won't be coming back.

Iger had an easy job the first time around. Everyone Loved and trusted the company and their family-friendly face. The House of the Mouse.
But Iger and Chapek ruined that. They had an agenda. A Social Justice Agenda that did not care what Disney fans thought or wanted. They used their money to corner the market on popular franchises...
... Then they brought social justice to those formerly beloved characters and fantasies. They thought they could push their agenda using the popular characters and franchises to push their social justice. They were wrong.
The characters were popular because they had the current values of the audience. Once that changed, the audience and their money left.
They were wrong.

Little Bobby Iger is the sole architect of the destruction of the Disney Company with his Woke and Diversity mandate. It was beyond stupidity when they brought him back to "save the company" which was like bringing back the arsonist who set fire a house and then is hired to rebuild the house. As usual though this communist death democrat is now starting to play the victim card now that he senses the axe may soon fall. And he wants to run for president.

Poor baby. Hey Bob. Who gave you the orders to push perversion on a traditional audience? Or did you come up with that stupid idea all by yourself?

Learn from Bud Light. The term go woke go broke is evidence that people are fed up with this woke BS and will take their business and money someplace else if it's being forced down their throats. Apparently, the multi-millionaires who run these companies are so removed from reality, that they never question the decisions made by their marketing departments. As a result, the companies lose billions of dollars as well as their reputations.

#12, you are mistaken. Michael Eisner started Disney down the path to being a company which groomed children to be sexual objects.

It is hard work running a company into the ground.
Disney has been slowly going "woke" for years, but suddenly, their customer base noticed.

The solution to Disney's problems are obvious. Show all the left-wing perverts in corporate offices the door and bring in ordinary people...like what worked in the 60s and 70s. Sleaze doesn't sell, and stinks, too.
