Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. will headline a Conservative Political Action Conference event in Las Vegas later this month.
Kennedy is running as a Democrat now but is expected to announce a change to independent next week.
“Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has a unique voice in advocating for the defunding of the weaponized bureaucracy and ensuring the constitutional right of medical freedom,” CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp said in a statement.

Why?
Why on earth would they give Kennedy a microphone and podium?

Huge huge huge mistake.
Unbelievably stupid move.
"Here... listen to this guy and consider voting for him instead of a conservative".

Tough to find much on the Interwebs about RFK's past policies but I found this from June this year:
RFK Jr. Says He Would Sign ‘Assault Weapons’ Ban if it Reached His Desk
https://www.breitbart.com/2nd-amendment/2023/06/29/rfk-jr-says-he-would-sign-assault-weapons-ban-if-it-reached-his-desk/
What else do we (not) know, other than he's as aligned with the Dems as much as his family is.

What is wrong with these people? When will they learn that you can never trust a Democrat. You have to stay away from these people as far as possible, like the moon!

Another nail in the coffin of irrelevance that CPAC finds itself locked into.

This makes no sense. Even a GI bath would not scrub away his Dem liberal past and core beliefs. Schlapp is a fool.
fta:
According to his campaign website, “Although today he criticizes the Democratic establishment for its abandonment of core Democratic values like peace and the First Amendment, Bobby Kennedy has long been an active supporter of Democratic candidates and leaders, endorsing and campaigning for Al Gore, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. In 2005, he authored a book entitled ‘Crimes Against Nature: How George W Bush and his Corporate Pals are Plundering the Country and Hijacking our Democracy.’ Bobby was also an early and vocal critic of President Bush’s decision to invade Iraq and the U.S. enhanced interrogation program at Guantanamo Bay and around the world.”

Seems more like satire than seriousness. Is CPAC giving Kamala Harris a Catholic Friendship award during that hokey show?

The Schlapp couple are party operators and tight with the FNC Bushies. Anybody who trusts Matt Schlapp has not kept up with CPAC very closely. Every CPAC, there are numerous speakers who are not conservative at all. He insults the audience with some of them. I am not surprised at all!!!

RFK’s choice for Vice President would probably be Hillary or Michelle Obama.

RFK Jr is NO CONSERVATIVE.
Ask him about immigration laws, raising taxes, or fossil fuels and you will see that he is as Lefty as Biden.
His opposition to forced vaccination and hatred of the CIA/FBI for killing his Daddy are no reasons to vote for this Democrat

I like what he has to say, but to actually believe the platitudes is another thing.
This is an attempt to reclaim the Dem party of old and it will never go back to what it once was.
It is now full of commie socialist totalitarians who WILL OT TOLERATE any opposition views.
His father would tell him not to do this, but he was murdered for standing against the power elites who took over on 11/22/1963 and keep giving us the McPains, the Mittens, and Bushie candidates whom they control.
Until Benedict Turtle and his minions are out of the leadership of the Senate, little of nothing will ever be done to get rid of the Uniparty choke hold that keeps careening towards destruction.
Throw the bums out by finding good candidates to run in primaries who can force a runoff of these traitors-- not tear each other up so they crooked ones keep getting 'elected' to RULE OVER U.S.
