San Francisco leaders are preparing to ramp up efforts to clean up and clear out homeless camps in the city after the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals clarified that people who decline shelter should not be classified as “involuntarily homeless.” The clarification could also be critical for other western cities, which have struggled with the proliferation of homeless encampments on sidewalks and in public parks in the wake of two Ninth Circuit rulings — Martin v. City of Boise and Johnson v. City of Grants Pass — that limited the enforcement of camping bans on people who have nowhere to go. Liberals created all this homelessness. They don't care WHY they are homeless. They just hide them and pretend everything is fine.

Potentially good news for the residents of San Francisco. It will be interesting to see whether the power structure goes through with its plan. People who live there are fed up with the homeless. Their patience has been astonishing but there always comes a time when enough is enough. The earthquake and fire of 1906 was for more devastating than the current bad leadership and the city did make a comeback. It will do so again.

Round all the homeless up, put them on a compound. Offer them housing and some pay for honest necessary work. If they turn it down, let them go. If they show up on the streets again, lock them up.

If you accept a bed you are not homeless and cannot be part of a sidewalk tent community. Pretty much common sense. Leftist Mayors have ignored that definition for a decade or so, and they wonder why their cities look like Blade Runner cities. Fecal matter has been accumulating for decades on London Breed's San Francisco sidewalks, and that Shite was ignored for decades. It took a District Circuit Court decision to bring sense into Breed's decision. Jeesh, voters elected that tool. Voters got what they elected. Incompetence. Now they are going to get rid of the sidewalk trash and push them into another CA city. Such leadership is awe striking. Nah. Just typical Democrat street cred.

CHICAGO — Democratic strongholds are struggling to keep helping the surge of migrants in their cities and states — and it’s sparking anxiety in the party about potential fallout heading into the 2024 election cycle. New York Mayor Eric Adams’ tussle with the White House over an influx of migrants from red states has famously soured his relationship with President Joe Biden. But he’s far from the only blue state official pushing back, as public pressure and budget concerns rise in Illinois, Massachusetts and beyond. “You’re hearing sentiments that are not dissimilar from what you would hear at [Donald] Trump rallies

Three Dallas police officers are liable for the death of Tony Timpa, a white man who died after officers pinned him to the ground for more than 14 minutes in 2016, a federal jury in Texas decided on Wednesday, ending a civil trial that had faced many delays. The jury of five men and three women found that officers Dustin Dillard, Raymond Dominguez, and Danny Vasquez were responsible for Timpa’s death, and they awarded $1 million to his 15-year-old son, according to Texas news outlets. The jury found that two of the officers, Dillard and Vasquez, had qualified immunity, shielding them from civil liability on the grounds

Less than a week after being indicted, Senator Bob Menendez (D., N.J.) pleaded not guilty Wednesday to federal corruption charges related to his allegedly taking bribes in an influence-peddling scheme that involved Egypt. Despite Democratic calls for his resignation, Menendez has denied any wrongdoing on his part. He allegedly pocketed over $100,000 worth of gold bars and nearly $500,000 in cash, among other luxurious gifts. His not-guilty plea comes as many Democratic politicians call for his resignation. His wife, Nadine, also pleaded not guilty before a federal judge in Manhattan.

NEW YORK — A judge ruled Tuesday that Donald Trump committed fraud for years while building the real estate empire that catapulted him to fame and the White House. Judge Arthur Engoron, ruling in a civil lawsuit brought by New York’s attorney general, found that the former president and his company deceived banks, insurers and others by massively overvaluing his assets and exaggerating his net worth on paperwork used in making deals and securing financing. Engoron ordered that some of Trump’s business licenses be rescinded as punishment, making it difficult or impossible for them to do business in New York, and said he would continue to have an independent monitor
