Donald Trump is suing a former MI6 officer and the intelligence consultancy he founded, High Court records show.
The former US president is bringing a data protection claim against Orbis Business Intelligence and its founder Christopher Steele, who previously ran the Secret Intelligence Service's Russia desk.
According to a court order published on Thursday, a two-day hearing in Mr Trump's legal action is set to start on October 16, which is thought to be the first hearing in the claim.

Jackson, Wyoming – Joe Biden boasted two years ago that the CEO of a major electric bus manufacturer was making him “look good” and federal dollars poured into the company. Now those words have come back to haunt him as an entire town’s electric bus fleet backed by the company broke down.
The Cowboy State Daily reported Tuesday that Teton County and the town of Jackson wanted a low-emission transit system for the county. The Southern Teton Area Rapid Transit (START) system, a joint operation between Jackson and Teton County, had bought eight electric buses to complement its fleet of 31.

The suspect allegedly made the threats to New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Arizona, and Alaska.

We’re all aware of how the narrative of Joe Biden’s connection to Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings has changed. For years, we were told that “Joe Biden never spoke with Hunter Biden about his business,” or that “Joe Biden never spoke with Hunter Biden’s business partners,” and even that “Joe Biden had no knowledge of his son’s business.” The message was clear; there was a big wall separating Joe Biden from his son’s businesses. Except that there wasn’t.A new text message released by the House Oversight Committee shows Joe Biden’s brother Jim Biden explaining to Hunter Biden that he needed the “usual” help from Joe Biden

The Trump campaign on Wednesday urged the Republican National Committee (RNC) to end the debates and save resources to defeat President Joe Biden, making the call after the second Republican debate went off the rails, with plenty of criticism from viewers over Univision’s leftist bent throughout the two-hour spectacle.
“Tonight’s GOP debate was as boring and inconsequential as the first debate, and nothing that was said will change the dynamics of the primary contest being dominated by President Trump,” a statement shared by Chris LaCivita, senior adviser for Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, reads.
“The RNC should immediately put an end to any further primary debates so we can

Former first daughter Ivanka Trump is among the Trump family members prosecutors plan to call in the fraud trial set to start Monday in New York.
She is among three Trump children listed as witnesses in the case, after Judge Arthur Engoron issued a stunning ruling finding Trump and his company committed fraud over a period of years.
New York state AG Letitia James has sued Trump and his firm for $250 million in damages, in a trial where the penalty phase kicks off next week following Engoron's summary judgement ruling.

A Chinese businessman who sent Hunter Biden wire transfers that listed Joe Biden’s home address in 2019 had multiple interactions with Joe Biden, according to emails and witness testimony.

Joe Biden stayed far, far away from DC on Thursday as Republicans held their first impeachment hearing and exposed his global influence-peddling scheme.
Biden on Thursday delivered remarks honoring the late Senator John McCain at the Tempe Center for The Arts in Tempe, Arizona. He also laughably focused his speech on the ‘state of democracy.’
At one point radical far-left climate protesters crashed the show and interrupted Biden’s speech. The protestors were screaming about “declaring a climate emergency.”

Democrat-run Philadelphia endured a second night of mass looting on Wednesday, and video footage shows the chaos at local businesses.
Law enforcement said over 50 people were arrested after the apparently organized groups hit several areas, breaking into stores and stealing, Fox News reported Thursday.
Video footage shows some in the groups leaving stores while carrying black bags filled with items. At one point, several individuals step out of a broken window with bottles of what appears to be alcohol in their arms.

Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida found himself being celebrated by Joe Biden on Thursday night.
Halfway through the Republican Presidential Primary Debate hosted by Fox Business and Univision, Joe Biden tweeted out “Couldn’t agree more” to a video clip of Ron DeSantis.
In the clip, Ron DeSantis took a shot at Trump and stated “Donald Trump is missing in action tonight. He should be on this stage.”
DeSantis continued “He owes it to you to defend his record where they added 7.8 trillion to the debt. That set the stage for the inflation that we have now.”

North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum (R) slammed the Republican presidential primary debate held by Fox Business Network and Univision in Simi Valley, California, on Wednesday night, saying crosstalk made it hard to follow.
“It’ll be interesting to go back and watch the tape, because somebody said, ‘Oh, here’s the time people got.’ Were they counting all the crosstalk? Was that half of it?” Burgum said in the spin room at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
Burgum had complained that he did not have an opportunity to speak properly for the first 45 minutes of the debate, which frequently descended into a shouting match in which several candidates were talking at once.
