Chuck Todd was removed and replaced as the anchor of NBC’s Meet The Press. Todd was replaced by the culturally correct Kristen Welker, a fellow traveler from the tribe of Valerie Jarrett whose daughter Laura Jarrett is Welker’s sidekick. If you followed the 2020 Super-Tuesday deal between Barack Obama (the Chicago Network that includes Oprah, and host of the ’24 Democrat National Convention), James Clyburn from South Carolina (now the #1 primary state for Democrats in 2024) and the Joe Biden family, then you will clearly see how the datapoints and roadmap aligns for 2024. {Go Deep} The NBC shift (Jarrett et al) was part of their corporate move in preparation

Trump is not a great communicator but he is willing to joust with the trolls in their lairs. I enjoy an interview where the subject is verbally adroit who can turn a hostile, biased or mendacious question into a well deserved smack down of the dishonest interlocutor. Trump is not that man. He is rambling and unclear. Trump is better when confronted by a gaggle of reporters and is great when speaking before his supporters I wish he would stick to what he will do if he wins in 2024. His base may love the recitation of his justified grievances but the feckless independents want to know what his victory would mean for them.

Why oh why is President Trump going down the abortion road talk with liberals? Just say abortion is left to the States and stop there. Don't get into the number of weeks an abortion can be made or some arbitrary week federal ban. Catholics and many others don't want abortion at any stage. The subject is quicksand. States rights!

Abortion to Democrats is a winning issue. When in fact, if they were truthful, abortion is a subject where there is no winner and someone is always going to lose. In my humbled opinion, the abortion issue is comparable to the 2020 summer protests while Donald Trump was president. He didn't like the protests but he felt that people had the right to speak up. I think he is handling the abortion issue in the same manner. He doesn't like abortion but if someone decides they don't want the baby, they will do anything to rid themselves of it. Great communicator? Who knows? Everyone may have different standards for what makes a good communicator. Donald Trump certainly doesn't hold back when he asked. . .

I am strongly pro life. I’m thankful that my governor and my state government has taken a positive position on life. I pray that more will follow under the direction of more good governors. Just a reminder that DJT, as POTUS, was instrumental in setting things in motion to accomplish the first real accomplishment in a positive direction on abortion policy in decades. That bolsters my hope in him. I pray for his guidance and wisdom. It seems to me that he is trying, as leader of ALL the people, to bring the country together & bridge the divide. That bridge has to be built on a national level in order to have reasoned discussion on the issue. (Look at the violence by pro-choice/pro-abortion activists & federal government’s increasing authoritarian actions against nonviolent pro-life activists.) There must be de-escalation & a return to First Amendment rights of all the people. I believe that difference between state and federal governance is the basis of Trump’s criticism of DeSantis - not as a state governor, but as a presidential candidate. Trump has been the instrument used to open the eyes of the people to the depths of corruption and evil that America is facing. I believe he has shown that he is willing to be used to lead the healing and restoration of the nation politically. It’s up to We The People to repent and restore her spiritually.

#11, thank you for your insightful comments. I was going to make a second comment and it is along the lines of your comment. As I said in my first post, I don't know if Donald Trump is a great communicator because the standards vary. I do know this that he is a good moderator or negotiator so when #11 points to he is the leader of ALL people and tries to bring the country together by bridging the divide, it is very close to the truth. So do I say that Donald Trump is a good moderator, or a good negotiator, or a good bridger?

In 2020, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced a task force to explore reparations for chattel slavery. Recent polling suggests, however, that even most Californians are opposed to cash payments to descendants of enslaved people. Reparations just aren’t a very American idea—they clash with our commitments to individual responsibility and equal opportunity rather than equal outcomes. In 1865, the anti-slavery leader Frederick Douglass gave a speech denouncing what we might now call “reparations.” “And if the negro cannot stand on his own legs, let him fall.” he said. “All I ask is give him a fair chance to stand on his own legs! Let him alone!”

Former prosecutors and other legal experts said that former President Donald Trump could have an edge in his classified documents case—as the case is slated to be tried in a Florida district that favors Republicans. A federal court based in Florida is expected to draw its jury pool from a conservative-leaning area of the Sunshine State that mostly supported the former president during the 2020 election, officials said. The Fort Pierce district in which members of the jury would be selected includes St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River, Okeechobee, and Highlands counties. President Trump won all of those counties in 2020, and notably, he got 71.8 percent of the vote in Okeechobee County,

The $500 million infusion into his decade-long Beyond Carbon initiative aims to "finish the job on coal" by working with state and local organizations to force the closure of the roughly 150 coal plants that have not yet retired, slash current gas generation in half and block the construction of new gas-fired plants.
