New York's police officers will face overtime cuts - despite increased crime - as the city continues to struggle with the financial toll of the migrant crisis that has overwhelmed the Big Apple. Upwards of 110,000 migrants are littered across the New York area, with most arriving in the last 18 months from the southern border. New York City Mayor Eric Adams has warned the issue could cost taxpayers $12million and destroy the city. Jacques Jiha, the city's budget director, has told not just the police department, but fire, sanitation and corrections to drastically reduce overtime.

Schools jammed with kids who don't speak English and are probably in the wrong grade. Hospitals and emergency rooms flooded with patients who have no way to pay. People getting kicked out of their hotels to make room for illegals. Not enough cops, because no one wants to be a cop in a city that hates cops. Had enough yet, voters?

With all of that money you’re spending on providing everything illegals need to survive in your city, you could easily use it to sent them back to their home countries.

NYC doesn't have to do a thing...except cut off the freebies. Then the migrants will self-disperse to other blue locations for the hand outs. No free shelter, no free food, no free clothes, no breaking line to get a job. Just give'em nothing and save billions.

Joe Biden held a meeting of his "Cancer Cabinet" on Wednesday. The Cancer Cabinet is supposed to be working on efforts to combat cancer. But one of the things that was very evident about the meeting was how halting, old, and slow Biden appeared to be. He was just supposed to be reading introductory remarks. Yet still, he had some trouble, struggling through it with some confusion and missed words. You can see some of that here, as Biden attempted to talk about dealing with "underserved communities." Unfortunately, a lot of the media either is completely under the thrall of the Democrats or is asleep at the switch when it comes to holding Joe Biden accountable for anything he does.We saw on Wednesday how the White House thinks that they can control the media by sending out a "talking points" memo about how they should apply "scrutiny" to the Republican impeachment inquiry into Biden. As I noted, they had some media, like a reporter from Politico, basically parroting the propaganda they were putting out—not even questioning it—just turning around and putting it out on X.
