Allies of the president reportedly told the New York Times that Joe Biden's "inability to say no" to his son, Hunter Biden, with regard to his business dealings has caused "avoidable political distractions." The report says that his allies "have privately criticized Mr. Biden’s apparent inability to say no when Hunter sought to pull him into his business dealings." "Some allies of the president say his loyalty to his son — inviting him to state dinners, flying with him aboard Marine One and standing on the White House balcony with him — has resulted in wholly avoidable political distractions," the report continued.

He only did it because he loved his son sooooo much. (Even if he didn't die in Afghanistan or some such place and came home to a fired damaged house in a flag draped coffin.) Of course that doesn't explain the bold faced lies or the bags of money for no services actually rendered. It's a conundrum for your average dog faced pony soldier.

Quite the spin, trying to pose Joe as the caring father. To the contrary, Joe sent Hunter to bring money to him and it was distributed throughout The Biden family. Furthermore, if he was the caring father they want you to believe, he wouldn’t have sent his horribly addicted son into a situation that would further his addiction. Biden is a fake on all fronts, and a mean one.

#10, this is all spin. I doubt they're afraid of Joe going to jail. There's no federal prosecutor in the entire breadth of the DOJ who would indict 'Fingers' Joe. Impeachment is the only remedy, and that's more politically-based than law-based. All spin. Maybe Fingers' puppeteers heard something that scary could be coming out of the House of Rep's investigation, because I've read that one of Trump's persecutors is ready with yet another indictment, which he could drop as soon as dirt on Fingers hits the MSM.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden is trumpeting Medicare’s new powers to negotiate directly with drugmakers on the cost of prescription medications — but a new poll shows that any immediate political boost that Biden gets for enacting the overwhelmingly popular policy may be limited. Three-quarters of Americans, or 76%, favor allowing the federal health care program for the elderly to negotiate prices for certain prescription drugs. That includes strong majorities of Democrats (86%) and Republicans (66%), according to a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. About one in five Americans are neutral on the issue, while 6% outright oppose it.

The G20 Summit held in New Delhi on Sept. 9 and 10 was, from the perspective and needs of the West, a lot of sound and light signifying not very much. Some Western observers might call it a super-sized nothing burger for them. But one thing is clear: The G20 is a talking forum without any executive powers, unable to prioritize anything — and it has tilted toward the Global South, which comprises developing countries. The G20 Leaders’ Declaration was festooned with a mindboggling array of commitments in an assemblage of fields such as climate, public health, sustainable and inclusive growth, technological transformation, taxation, digital ecosystems, food and energy security,

In a post Monday, Hawkins noted that tons of statistics out there indicate a level of gloom in America that perhaps hasn’t truly existed until now. WASHINGTON (AP) — Michael White had only recently arrived in a grim Iranian jail when a curious fellow prisoner, an English-speaking Iranian, approached him in the courtyard for a conversation. The American did not reveal much at first, but it was the beginning of an unlikely friendship between White, a Navy veteran imprisoned on spying charges he says were unfounded, and Mahdi Vatankhah, a young Iranian political activist whose positions on social issues had drawn his government’s ire. As the men connected behind bars over a shared interest in politics and human rights, they developed a bond that proved vital for both.

If it proves to be the case that China has recruited a Briton, who held a coveted job as a researcher in Westminster, as an agent, it represents a significant escalation in Beijing’s intelligence targeting of the UK. More recently there have been signs of a growth in human intelligence efforts, using undercover Chinese nationals in an effort to obtain information. In 2020, three alleged Chinese agents were quietly expelled by the UK.

The California liberal and former House Speaker even went so far as to insinuate that her true feelings wouldn’t matter, as the office of the VP doesn’t do much.
