A coalition of six Republican and unaffiliated Colorado voters, including former state and federal officials, filed a lawsuit Wednesday seeking to disqualify former President Donald Trump from appearing on the state’s 2024 presidential ballot.
The plaintiffs are represented by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), a nonprofit and “nonpartisan” watchdog organization, alongside law firms Tierney Lawrence Stiles LLC, KBN Law, LLC, and Olson Grimsley Kawanabe Hinchcliff & Murray LLC.
The plaintiffs are Norma Anderson, Michelle Priola, Claudine Cmarada, Krista Kafer, Kathi Wright, and Christopher Castilian.

If President Trump is so blatantly bad, so universally unfit, so beyond the pale of acceptability as a candidate; then why do Republican elected officials and Party apparatchiks have to come up with schemes like this? Conversely, schemes like this give aware, and those becoming aware, voters undeniable evidence of the Uniparty and our lack of any true representation until President Trump rode down that escalator. That's why they hate him. He's a traitor to his class, because he's an American patriot first.

A “coalition” of clowns. Trump is way ahead of any other Republicans, so why is this RINO group seeking to disqualify him? Mental Dysfunction combined with TDS. Hint: “Former Federal Workers” called upon by desperate Democrats, What are they afraid of? FREEDOM?

Assertion of opinion as facts is a violation of bar ethics in Florida, and I suspect in other states. I filed the complaint to the Bar against Caplan in Florida (pending). His suit against DJT was rejected by the judge for lack of standing, and the Bar still is looking at my complaint. Perhaps others, in Colorado, coud file a Bar complaint against the plaintiffs here?

From the illegal actions of Andrew McCabe and Peter Strzok to prevent Trump's 2016 election, to recruiting people to kidnap the governor of Michigan, and most recently to embedding agents that allegedly encouraged some J6 protestors to use violence, corruption at the top levels of the FBI has been on display, despite media efforts to "pave it over".
No wonder they and other agencies, brimming with top level, out-of-control Trump hating appointees and bureaucrats, have a visceral fear of another Trump term. They ought to.
He would be completely unfettered, no worries at all about re-election. America's last chance to clean up the cesspool.

This kind of nuisance is going to sprout up like mushrooms unless promptly nipped in the bud. The SCOTUS has to move quickly and proactively. it is not enough to just declare this sort of thing invalid and inadmissible. But it must be declared election interference and actionable by authorities. The burden to fight this kind of nonsense should not fall on Trump or his campaign.

FTA: “If even one radical Secretary of State or county official attempts to remove Trump from the ballot, the right must be equally prepared to remove Joe Biden from the ballot for selling out America and accepting bribes from foreign oligarchs. Remember, under their theory, no conviction is necessary. The counter move must be swift and forceful. There sure are a lot of red counties we could take off the chessboard in 2024,” Kirk added.

Six lying sacks of dung have outed themselves. There needs to be a meeting of the minds as to what constitutes responsibility, and/or ethics in Washington. If this "watch dog" expects to be housed and fed, you can expect this dog to watch the theft take place between his big, meaty dinner and his postprandial nap. Watchdog, my pet donkey!

While these people may think that they are just trying to destroy Trump , and either destroy 'Trumpsterism', or at least 'bring them back on the reservation', what they are really doing is destroying the Republican Party and the nation, by ceding all the power to the Democrats.

The state republican party of Colorado is so gutless I doubt that they will even attempt to counter this suite.
Don't forget, in 2020, The Donald had two campaign stops planned for Colorado. The state party leaders told him DO NOT COME TO COLORADO. Rino pigs !

As a Colorado conservative (folks like them pushed me from the Republican party), I'm worn out. If their case was so strong against Trump, why not just back one of his primary opponents? If the election was so clearly fair, then why do half of Americans believe it wasn't? What was the crime in raising these questions? Early 2017 up to Covid were the best, most prosperous times of my life. How's 2021 to 2023 been?

Lately there are people posing as Republicans when then are Democrats or Socialists. You cannot trust anyone from Boulder, Denver, or Aurora when they state their party. They are so far left politically in Boulder and Denver that they cannot see the right. Colorado used to be a conservative state and now the only conservatives live in Colorado Springs and their political preference is unknown.

Rinos can play their Injustice lawyer games, but under Trump I became prosperous. So did most of US workers too. Under Bidet we pay Illegal Alien “refugees” $2,200 per month. So husband and wife cross separately and make $4,400 per month just for infecting the fruited plain while many Americans just get $1,400 from Social Security. We want the MAGA avenger back.

So many want to take away MY right to vote. Seems all Democrats and many Republicans think I shouldn't be able to vote for what I want. If they do succeed we will have no choice but start a real insurrection like its 1776 and it will be heard around the world.

Trump has not been charged with insurrection nor is he guilty of it. If Weiss thought he had a chance in hell of making that stick he would have done it. How dare these ignorant aholes think they should have the power to decide who is or is not going to appear on the ballot?
