President Joe Biden said Wednesday that it is impossible to deny the impact of climate change after Hurricane Idalia smashed into Florida and forced millions of residents to flee their homes.
Idalia's torrential rain and threats of flash flooding moved through Georgia during the afternoon as emergency services in Florida battled the impact of a powerful storm surge.
Coming so soon after deadly wildfires in Maui, Biden said it was a reminder of an unfolding global disaster. 'I don't think anybody can deny the impact of a climate crisis anymore,' he said at the White House.
'Just look around: Historic floods, I mean, historic floods; more intense droughts; extreme heat;

What response? Biteme never had a response to the fire. He's got nothing to defend. It's the demolsuts in Maui that need to defend their lack of response.

Biden you cheater, understand the science first, pal. Let me make it easier for you, demented one. The sun is out of whack. It has been experiencing a magnetic field reversal which further amplifies its 11-year sunspot cycle that is happening now and the coronal mass ejections that have hit planet earth. Our own planet earth has been experiencing magnetic field issues of its own. All of this amplifies the effects of the current el nino. Got it, pal?

Hurricanes happen every year, so no Brandon it wasn't climate change. The Maui fire was app due to fallen power lines falling onto normally arid land and driven by winds from a passing hurricane, also not climate change. The Maui fire damage apparently was compounded by government incompetence, lots of it.

The weather could have been 49 degrees and the fire still would have decimated the city because those idiots turned off the water. And 49% of the democrats approve of this madman?

If The Lying HairSniffer says it's so...... then it AIN'T so.
This bunch does not give a whit about the climate..... if they did, then why is John 'Lurch' Kerry flying all around on a Private Jet, instead of flying commercial, or better yet, taking a wooden sailboat?
No, with this bunch it's all about POLITICAL POWER.
By the way, the Chinese Communists put TWO large Coal-Fired power plants into service EVERY WEEK this last year, and I understand that they have THREE HUNDRED MORE 'In the Pipeline'.

There have been fires and hurricanes in North America for as long as the Earth has existed. The change that really occurred is when humans encroached upon the areas where those natural events were likely to occur based upon history.

Dog days of August, central ohio temp tonite is 58F. What climate change? Other than the political climate that results in firewood accumulation in forests, denial of water, and shutting of escape routes

Hawaii is Democrat and they don't see it changing. Florida is a red state, their governor is running against Biden. He's trying for more votes.

Taking Hawaii's vote for granted, but not Florida's. And treating the Liberal media's hysterical distortions as if they were statements of objective truth. And DM, part of that untrustworthy media, cynically playing both sides in its coverage.

At least choose an actual disaster to pitch your false science, this storm was an over-hyped nothingburger that was over in a day. The government and the weather people sounded like carnival barkers.

Lahaina lies at the end of a valley that runs between the two extinct volcanoes, it is at the end of the wind tunnel and is usually dry. Most of the buildings were made of wood and there was a tropical storm passing in the south generating winds. What could go wrong?

Despite Hurricane Idalia striking Florida, it has actually been a rather mild hurricane season. The other storms have had minimal impact on anyone. This morning they slapped a name (Jose) on a breezy rainstorm that is 2,000 miles out to sea. Liberals are still begging for bad weather.
