Ten regional banks have had their credit ratings slashed by risk assessment firm Moody's - which warned it was considering downgrading another six. Major lenders Bank of New York Mellon, U.S. Bancorp, State Street and Truist Financial, Cullen/Frost Bankers and Northern Trust are now under review, and the agency also assigned a negative outlook to 11 further banks, including major institutions Capital One and Citizens Financial. Bank stocks fell this morning following the announcement, which renewed fears about the health of the US banking sector amid increased interest rates and recent failures.

Doocy asked, “There’s this testimony now, where one of your son’s former business associates is claiming that you were on speakerphone a lot with them, talking business, is that –?”
In a recent online poll on Twitter X Joe Biden ended up dead last in an international poll on respected leaders.
Russia’s Vladimir Putin was first with 35.6% of the vote followed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi with 33.7% of the vote, followed by Ukraine’s Zelensky with 21.9% of the vote.
Joe Biden was 4th out of 4 with 8.9% of the vote.

A Utah man who posted threats to Joe Biden was shot and killed during an FBI raid Wednesday morning.
Craig Robertson, 75, was shot and killed early Wednesday morning, according to the FBI in Salt Lake City.
According to reports, Robertson was facing 3 counts after posting threats to Joe Biden: Interstate threats, threats against the president, and influencing, impeding and retaliating against federal law enforcement officers by threat.
Robertson allegedly threatened to kill Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and officials prosecuting Trump in a series of social media posts.
Senator Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.) was briefly hospitalized on Tuesday afternoon after a minor fall, her office confirmed in a statement to National Review.
“Senator Feinstein briefly went to the hospital yesterday afternoon as a precaution after a minor fall in her home,” a spokesperson said. “All of her scans were clear and she returned home.”
