Prince Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’ considered

Prince Harry’s memoir is the “most discarded” book of the summer among vacationers, a travel company claimed. The Duke of Sussex’s tell-all “Spare” has reportedly been dumped in hotel rooms, trash cans, and left poolside at various resorts in Spain, Greece, and Turkey since its explosive release in January. Travel company On The Beach says it’s found over 100 discarded copies of the book this summer. “We’ve never witnessed anything quite like it. Lost property offices in our most popular resorts are brimming with copies of ‘Spare,'” Chief customer officer Zoe Harris told the Express.

FTA: "In “Spare,” Harry shockingly claimed he was only bred for “spare parts” for his older brother, Prince William, two years his elder and the heir to the throne." Harry is no longer the 'Spare." His is now the "Fifth Wheel", and that is a literal "fifth." Ahead of him are William, George, Charlotte and Louis. (And he was NOT bred for "spare parts"; he was bred to BE a spare part. There is a difference.)

The memoir could be opened to page 40 with the next block of pages cut out of the middle of the book to be used as a bookshelf storage device for valuables. Leave the dust jacket and the hard cover for appearances. Bob Woodward's books are excellent for this purpose, although they're otherwise a waste of paper and print.

If they were counting on "the book" making Americans love them, feel sorry for them and be on their side, embrace them and clamor for another "book" - they're wrong. You have millions, go live your lives. You wanted out of the lime light, you got it.

Harry's book is the kind of mindless tripe you read on a vacation and then leave the book behind for another vacationer. There is no deep thinking and it is a mindless piece of fiction that doesn't tax your mind while sitting poolside. It is also not a book you want to show off on your bookshelf at home as something you want to admit to having read.

What kind of vacationer wants to read about useless royals while on vacation? That's just dumb no matter what creepy royals you're reading about. It reminds me of the foolish obsession with Diana. She had no accomplishments and wasn't very attractive. It was all hype. Just like the Kennedys.

I don't think Harry cares if you buy his book and then throw it away, as long as you buy his book. He is going to need the money after Meghan divorces him, takes the kids, and whatever assets not yet spent.

I requested "SPARE" from our local library, where there was a five-person waiting list. Didn't pay for it, the library did (with my taxes, I must admit). It was a good read, in my opinion, because most of us have followed the troubled lives of Diana's children over the years. My opinion is that Harry wrote this book to emphasize the harassment he and his family receive from the British press (you think ABC and CNN stink? take a look at these d-bags) to further his case against them in court. A good read in my opinion. Markle has him by the gonads.

Progressives love to label people they don’t like, makes it easier to “otherize” and round them up later, and progressives love to round people up. What they call people has little to no connection to reality, but being disconnected from reality is a feature of the left, not a bug. So, who are the latest “monsters” these left-wingers have decided to demonize? Moms. Yes, you read that right, moms. The lady who made your PB&Js, who dressed you as a child, the woman who gave you life! Now moms are the problem in politics, according to the Democrat Party. How did moms top the list of problematic Americans?

It has not been a good week for the Biden White House. The evidence of wrongdoing from their alleged bribery operation hasn’t been refuted or disproven. Hunter Biden’s sweetheart plea deal got tossed by a judge who apparently saw it as a perversion of justice. Hunter was about to plead guilty to gun and tax evasion charges and get no jail time. It was a crock. Spencer wrote today that more unethical activities were uncovered through new emails, where Hunter wanted a $2 million retainer to recover frozen Libyan assets in 2015. The emails were sent among Democratic donors,

Here at PJ Media, I have previously documented the obvious state of unfitness of Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), who is 90 years old and clearly suffering from cognitive decline. Now we have this nearly unbelievable spectacle. Via CNN: Sen. Dianne Feinstein had to be corrected and told to vote during a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing on Thursday… During Thursday’s hearing, Feinstein was meant to cast her vote on the Defense Appropriations bill, requiring her to say “Aye” or “Nay,” when her name was called. When she didn’t answer, Democratic Sen. Patty Murray of Washington state tried to prompt her. “Say aye,” she said, repeating herself three times to Feinstein.

The White House sharply changed its tune on Monday, saying that Joe Biden “was never in business” with his son. For nearly three years, the president has insisted that he didn’t know anything at all about Hunter’s dodgy foreign grift, let alone do business with him. Why the change of tune? Because the lies are finally starting to fall apart. On Monday, The Post revealed upcoming bombshell testimony from Hunter Biden’s ex-biz partner Devon Archer, who says the first son threw his then-VP dad on speaker during shady business calls as many as two dozen times just in Archer’s presence. Archer says the president didn’t always realize he was on speakerphone.

It is clear that PINO (President-in-name-only) Joe Biden is going to get impeached. I didn't think that was true until recently, not because he doesn't deserve it – he massively deserves it – but because Republicans are generally weak. Impeachment is hard, and at the end of the day, he won't be removed from office anyway. But there's too much evidence out there now to avoid it. The GOP simply cannot explain to its base how it turned over this rock o' graft and ignored the wriggling worms underneath. So, the House will eventually impeach him, but only barely, because some Republicans are weak

Water heaters could soon be subject to much more stringent efficiency requirements if a recent Department of Energy proposal that has been criticized by Republican lawmakers goes into effect. In a draft rule unveiled Friday, the Biden administration is seeking to compel most electric water heaters to deploy heat pump technology and gas-fired ones to use condensing technology. It comes months after the Biden administration ignited a firestorm over feared stove top regulations, after Albany lawmakers enacted a controversial first-in-the-nation gas stove ban in New York.

A month before he died in April 1994, former President Richard Nixon wrote a letter to then-President Bill Clinton offering what Clinton later called “wise counsel, especially with regard to Russia.” The contents of that letter have now been declassified by the Clinton presidential library and appear prophetic. In the seven-page letter, dated March 21, 1994, and discussed by history professor Luke Nichter in the Wall Street Journal, Nixon gave a blunt assessment of the political situation in Russia, predicting accurately that relations between Moscow and Kyiv would deteriorate and that someone like Putin could come to power.

After seeking to reduce the use of gas stoves, the Biden administration is pushing a proposal to ban the sale of almost all portable gas generators—which some experts have said would be disastrous for the millions of Americans who rely on such generators during power outages. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has proposed a policy (pdf) that would remove nearly all existing portable gas generators from the market. The new rule restricts the amount of carbon monoxide that generators can emit by forcing these generators to switch off when they reach a certain level of emissions.
