Now most of that has been undone, and nothing is being done about it. This is like a nightmare in which you are terrified only to awake and be thankful it was only a dream. Can we get back to sane times? If someone like Fetterman can be elected a senator of a state is there any reason to hope? The biggest problem for me is crime. When people can just walk into a store and steal something without being punished it has a cascade effect. If there is no punishment for taking someone else's property taking someone else's life is just the next step. And if you are dead nothing else matters.

The D voters will complain about the high prices, the open borders, and the cost of energy, and then will vote the same way in the next election. Like a sibling of mine, they vote for the letter after the candidate's name.

FTA: “ . This has to stop, and it begins with some patriotic American Democrats re-taking control of their party and stop this madness.” That is a first step, but I honestly believe the democrat party is too far gone. They have chosen a path that is rabidly anti-American at its core. Their desire to destroy our founding principles is the driving force emboldened by an arrogant refusal to hear any opposition. The feeling of superiority is so ingrained in their psyche that honest debate is impossible which comes when your beliefs are based upon feelings and not facts, data, or evidence. These people are unmoveable ideologues. You might call them cultists because they allow no dissent in their ranks. The more power they gain the more totalitarian they become to the point they are lawless and believe nothing they do is wrong. They have totally destroyed our government. Of course, it functions somewhat but it is far from what the Founders envisioned. They have also taken a wrecking ball to the culture. It is a rancid cesspool of perverse hedonism that has now put our children squarely in its sites. Children are not safe in this country. They are up for grabs by elites who pay well to use their little bodies for their depraved sexual fetishes. While I want to have faith in the process, it is clear we have crossed the rubicon and are in a place we have never inhabited before. It is a dark and dangerous place that will not give up the gains they have made. This is uncharted territory and without divine intervention I don’t believe we will prevail. The enemy is like no other we have faced. It is entrenched and has embraced a dark force only content with destruction. It is their goal to tear it all down and rebuild it again. However, all they know is power, greed, depravity and lying and that will be their foundation moving forward. As this great country was created on Judeo-Christian principles, theirs is formed on the principles of the evil one, Satan. As I see it, this is a battle of good versus evil. We have fought these wars before but never on our own soil inside our own government with our own people as our enemies. This godless cabal is banking on the fact that we don’t have the stomach for it and quite frankly, I am not sure we do. I never thought I would live long enough to witness such a time as this, yet here we are up against our most formidable enemy and I am unsure of the outcome. Democrats will do anything to win, but I am not sure we have the same mindset. God help us. This is our David versus Goliath moment.

This is an excellent summation. I believe Democrats' untrammeled desire for money and power has led to this monstrous mess for America. The Clintons, Muslim Barack Obama, Democrat legislators and threatened/bribed RINOs continue the treason on our great land. So many Patriots have sacrificed to keep America free and safe... now the Democrat Party MUST change/be changed... to return to reality before all hope is gone.

Unfortunately #6, there are no patriotic Democrats left. At least not in sufficient numbers. Others are too cowed down by intimidation of the Left. "Taking back" used to mean going to the polls in great numbers and voting the rascals out. That doesn't work anymore. Every age has it's challenges and solutions. 250 years ago our forefathers faced a seemingly immovable obstacle in form of the British King's army. But they found a way. We have to find ours.

Food prices through the roof, gas up, mortgage interest rates nearly double, airlifting baby formula, derailed trains, wildfires, cramming EV's down our throats, ban gas stoves, illegals on the rampage, dictatorial executive orders, leftist judges overturning laws, censorship.... Need I go on? These are the hallmarks of a leftist administration. The only good news is the Hollywood strike.

How about we start living in God's ways rather than humanity's ways? I guess if you have a problem with God being our creator, you will dismiss my comments completely. That is your choice. I am going to say what I need to say anyways. So here goes. This is all about mediocre versus exceptionalism. I am making certain that it is understood that I believe perfection exists ONLY with God. Observing and listening has become more of my nature lately and has led me to some conclusions. As I see more people getting farther away from God, I am seeing an indifference to exceptionalism. Mediocrity has become a way of living and the consequences are a lack of creativity, a lack of effort, a lack of quality, a lack of substance etc. You get the point. How about we get back to living in God's ways. God makes it understandable for us - the ten guiding principles know as The Ten Commandments. It can be even more understandable with the Greatest Commandment Matthew 22:36-40 - "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind AND love your neighbor as yourself". It doesn't get any simpler. For me, it goes deeper than just being woken up from a nightmare.

Satan and God are slugging it out. Right before our very eyes. We are seeing only a sliver of it at humanity's level. We are witnessing Satan's deception first hand in our governmental system. Satan will win...this time. Ultimately God will win but not in our human lifetimes. Meanwhile there is very good reason to believe and pray for His love and affection regardless of what happens to the United States of Amerika. I believe the correct term is faith.

10 made me chuckle. The SAG strike in Hollywood has been the lead news as of late. Hollywood has done more harm to our spiraling culture than the media. Well it’s close between the two. We cut cable. I love it. The wife is suffering a bit. You can buy a really good DVD at an estate sale for $1-$2. Bought “Passion of the Christ” just this weekend. #12, that has been the challenge of mankind for centuries. Some of us choose God's way and do our best to live good lives. Others choose the path of Satan because it's the easy way and create the constant conflict of good vs evil. It is God's way of testing all of us. The evil people win until they die. We win after death. The mess we see around us now in America is not due to incompetence, it is the deliberate fulfillment of Satan's plan.

Excellent article on the nightmare America is experiencing - and all of it ‘man made’, deliberate and full steam ahead. Thoughts often come that are ominous and chilling; for instance, those maniacal cadres who marched through the streets of Europe so long ago, wearing boots and helmets, targeting any and all who did not conform and obey their leaders’ demands. So now we Americans must be careful what we say - or believe - for fear of retaliation from the highest levels of our own government? We have been taken down a very dark path by today’s Democrat Party. If their insane policies are not stopped and reversed, there will be ‘no light at the end of the tunnel’ for America.

In agreement with #6 and #9. Only things I would add the problems are being caused by both parties, not just the Democrats. Watching the current Republican infighting leads me to believe they are behaving business as usual which they should not. #9 comments 'first you have to admit you have a problem'. According to who you believe, Biden got somewhere between 70 million and 80 million votes. That means 70 to 80 million people don't think we are in trouble. What is the cure for that? People aren't taking things seriously. The other thing is the extreme measures being used to derail this country and our government. Last time it was a pandemic. What will it be next time? The odds of handling these events would appear to be slim to none and its by design.

There is nothing improper about an American citizen reading this article, looking at how our quality of life has declined, and wondering if Americans really voted to have their savings lost to inflation, their borders crashed by ungrateful illegal alien asylum seekers, or the billions of dollars in military equipment left behind for the Taliban in Afghanistan. Americans have no obligation to accept the word of Democrats and RINOs that the outcome of the 2020 election was what they voted for. Too many insiders promoting the Russia Hoax in 2016, and too many "irregularities" that we know about in 2020, to assume election interference wasn't at work. No one should forget how President Trump was attacked for merely asking Zelensky about the firing of a prosecutor looking into Hunter Biden's business dealings. Our corrupt politicians, agencies, and the MSM recast Trump's congratulatory call to the newly elected president of Ukraine, as a crime. In asking for information about the prosecutor and the firing, corruptocrats said Trump was seeking "favors." Yet Biden bragged about getting that prosecutor fired. He used his power and taxpayer money to force that firing. No need to even "ask." He just gave the order. https://www.c-span.org/video/?c4820105/user-clip-biden-tells-story-ukraine-prosecutor-fired No wonder so many Americans find it implausible that Biden got more votes than any presidential candidate in history. Too much election interference in the 2016 election to believe the participants just gave up in 2020.

After all, there’s no practical difference in the phrases. In fact, the choice to give preference to the phrase “people of color” is worse than practically useless to an English speaker -- it’s needlessly more burdensome to both the talker and the listener. Consider this formula with any other trait. Would you refer to yourself as a “person of dark hair,” or a “dark-haired person?”

'I don't think the Federal Department of Education should exist,' the former education secretary told DailyMail.com during an exclusive interview. 'I'm hopeful that we elect a president who is also committed to either scaling back dramatically or ultimately shutting down the Department of Education.'

I wish I could say this is satire. Sam Houston State University now offers degrees in “Victim Studies.” I guess ingratitude and chronic discontent are educational skills now? Thank goodness useless ignoramuses can now spend thousands of dollars to be indoctrinated into the worst of woke ideology and learn how the system is oppressive, even as they live a privileged lifestyle inaccessible to more than 99% of all humans. The American education system has become a blatant joke, but it’s not a funny one. From Sam Houston State University‘s website:

White House aide John Kirby said on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” that the inconclusive investigation into who brought cocaine into the West Wing was handled properly. Anchor Shannon Bream asked, “I want to talk about a national security issue that is domestic and that is cocaine in the White House.”She added, “Certainly you can understand that Americans, many of them, first of all, are aghast that there was ever cocaine in the White House. We heard reports of marijuana a couple of times found there last year as well. But more importantly it is that the case was closed in less then two weeks.”

Who needs enemies when you've got Gen. Mark Milley running the Pentagon? Here's the latest military fiasco on his watch, as reported by the Financial Times (second link here): Millions of US military emails were misrouted to Mali by a “typographical leak” that exposed highly sensitive information, including diplomatic documents, tax returns, passwords and travel details of senior officers. Despite repeated warnings over a decade, the steady stream of email traffic to the .ML domain, the country identifier for Mali, continues to be the result of people mistyping .MIL, the suffix for all US military email addresses.

During a White House briefing on Tuesday, a reporter asked Kirby if the Biden administration’s policy of paying for troops and their family members to travel out of state for abortion is “critical” for military readiness.Kirby responded that since the U.S. military comprised of volunteers, it was a “foundational, sacred obligation” to provide them and their family members with paid travel and time off to get abortions if they were based in states where it is restricted.
