Serene beachside views that bring in a lucrative tourism industry could be cut to ribbons if wind companies succeed in constructing fleets of monopole turbines along the east coast. Orsted, a wind energy company 51 percent owned by the Danish government, has plans to install 200 turbines throughout 161,000 acres of ocean nine miles off the coast southernmost tip of New Jersey in Cape May County. Diane Wieland, the county’s tourism director, told The Epoch Times that in 2022 the vacation resort had 11.3 million visitors, which generated $7.4 billion in direct tourism spending, an increase of 11.9 percent over 2021.

OP, NJ is ruled by the Rt. 1 corridor. Trenton to Newark, and all the surrounding densely populated areas. Cape May isn’t really NJ, nor is Sussex, Warren or Hunterdon counties. A lot of our Shore counties aren’t that lefty. It’s the corruption and density of the Rt. 1 corridor that allows the fraudulent elections to slip by unnoticed here.

I believe Cape May is an LGBT*** enclave. Their voices should have more impact than any politician's. If they say "no wind farm" the project will die.

But, wait! I thought Old Joe told us the Jersey Shore had a "homeboy" in the White House! After Jill's fond memories of summering in Ocean City NJ and she and Joe's many trips to Stone Harbor NJ, plenty of people were shocked when they bought their ocean home in Rehoboth Beach, DEL. Hmmm. Wonder if they knew something that we didn't about proposed future wind farms? I think Cape May County where many of the wind turbines will be located is only 4-5 miles from Stone Harbor. Wow. NIMBY. Some homeboy, Joe.

I really wanted to read this article but there is a paywall. 200 windmill, each 1000 feet tall ( the Eiffel Tower is 1000 feet ) 9 miles off shore. The horizon is 12 miles. South Jersey is conservative and has 141 miles of beaches from Perth Amboy down to Cape May. Beyond hating the conservatives, these stinking politicians hate America and Americans. They're happily willing to destroy the economy and the country in their pursuit of power and wealth.

There are a number of reasons that are devastating to the New Jersey shore. First is the fact that it's in New Jersey. Second, many shore communities charge a fee to be on the beach. Yes, one has to pay to go on the beach. Many places like Cape May and Wildwood have no chain hotels like a Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, or Hilton. Only mom and pop hotels that many may have been nice fifty or sixty years ago, but not now simply because they just don't have the money to upgrade the place. Add in the tolls to get there, and even charging for parking at a grocery store, and going to the Jersey Shore is not only expensive, it's a pain in the butt.

President Trump does not mince words when it comes to the senseless bloodshed and chaos in Ukraine. As Joe Biden meets with NATO members to consider their latest strategies to expand the proxy war in Ukraine, President Trump denounces the decision to provide cluster bombs. It should be noted, this recent decision by Biden follows an earlier decision by NATO to send depleted uranium munitions into the battlefield. Ukraine is quickly turning into a toxic killing field as World War Reddit continues.

House Republicans are contemplating legislation that would eliminate Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’s salary in response to mistrust over the failure to enforce the U.S. southern border. Republican legislators are now insisting that Mr. Mayorkas’s salary be part of the impending government funding dispute. Among those Republicans is Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.), who said in a July 11 statement, confirmed by her office to The Epoch Times, that the House’s majority party was ready for Biden administration cabinet members to “do their jobs.” “People are sick of inaction against elected officials who betray their oath and refuse to do their jobs

The usual suspects have weighed in on recent belated efforts to enforce U.S. immigration laws. Our now bankrupt media, the corrupt government of Mexico, and the Diversity/Equity/Inclusion apparat have damned a series of laws recently passed by the Florida legislature and signed by Governor Ron DeSantis that enforce existing federal immigration laws. Such critics seem oblivious to the current violence that is paralyzing Europe in general, and in particular France—as if such European chaos offers no lessons for the U.S. or any other salad-bowl, open-borders Western nation. Florida decided no longer to provide de facto and illegal exemptions to foreign nationals who entered and now reside in the state illegally.

The House’s NDAA contains a number of Republican-authored provisions to roll back the Biden administration’s efforts to push Marxist-based Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives throughout the entire Department of Defense establishment, including the military.
