Pence says some 'just don't understand'
why we must endlessly support Ukraine

Former Vice President Mike Pence remains committed to doling out military aid for Ukraine against Russia’s invasion if he wins the presidency in 2024. He isn’t very good at explaining why voters should agree with him. The Associated Press interviewed Pence about the “call for limited military assistance to Ukraine” from former President Donald Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), his top GOP rivals. “With all due respect,” he said, “I think the former president and the governor of Florida just don’t understand Americans’ national interest in supporting the Ukrainian military in repelling the Russian military in Ukraine.”

Sorry, Pence, throwing taxpayer money at lost causes is dim policy. Ukraine cannot defeat Russia no matter what weapons or how much taxpayer money is spent. This is not about "democracy". Ukraine is not a democracy but a currupt pseudo dictatorship and the West is the collective dictator and zellenskyy is their puppet. IMO putin is waging a war of attrition which is draining the west's resources. If he commits his A Team this conflict will end quickly but he doesn't want to have to occupy all of Ukraine - just the traditionally pro Russian Eastern Oblasts.

We cannot afford this. Ukraine is corrupt, as is Russia, but neither is as corrupt as the democrats and stupid rinse-and-repeat republicans.

How do wars end? One side is flatted (see Japan in August 1945), one side quits (see Germany in 1918), or there is a negotiated ceasefire (Korea 1953). Eventually Ukraine will run out of manpower, weapons, or both if we continue on the current path.

Ya know...if we had spent just 1/4 of what we have sent to Ukraine on completing more wall...the enforcement, support, resettlement, housing, healthcare, legal aid and education spending on the GREATER NUMBER of Illegal interlopers that have crossed OUR border, than the number of Russians that crossed Ukraines...would have left us with EXTRA money to give them, IF that is what we decided to do with it. Defending OUR Border, would pay for defending THEIRS. Instead we are just throwing borrowed money at BOTH, welcoming crossers at ours, and killing the crossers of theirs.

The Biden administration on Monday slammed the Republican-controlled House’s version of 2024 National Defense Authorization Act for requiring military personnel decisions to be based on merit and not race or gender, among other provisions. “The Administration strongly opposes the House’s sweeping attempts…to eliminate the Department’s longstanding [Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Access] efforts and related initiatives to promote a cohesive and inclusive force,” the Biden administration said in a Statement of Administration Policy. The House’s NDAA contains a number of Republican-authored provisions to roll back the Biden administration’s efforts to push Marxist-based Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives throughout the entire Department of Defense establishment, including the military.

NEW YORK — The Justice Department on Tuesday said that Donald Trump can be held personally liable for remarks he made about a woman who accused him of rape — a reversal of its position that Trump was protected because he was president when he made the remarks. In a letter filed with the judge presiding over a defamation lawsuit that columnist E. Jean Carroll brought in Manhattan federal court in 2020, the department says it no longer has “a sufficient basis” to conclude that Trump was motivated in his statements about Carroll’s claims by more than an insignificant desire to serve the United States. Previously, the department had agreed

If something is falling apart but wants to stay afloat, it's usually a pretty right time for making some changes. Which brings us to Hollywood, where Power Line attorney and writer John Hinderaker has found some good observations: Like most of corporate America, Hollywood has fallen prey to the “DEI” delusion in recent years. Far from being a good thing, corporate “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” measures generally represent a poisonous brew of racism, leftism and anti-Americanism. The sooner this fad fades from the scene, the better.
