White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre would not say if the White House supports prosecuting the unknown cocaine White House smuggler. Speaking at Wednesday’s press briefing, a reporter asked, “If the Secret Service determines who brought the cocaine into the White House, does the White House support the prosecution of this individual?” “I’m just not gonna get into hypotheticals from here. Let the Secret Service do their job. It’s under their purview. We are confident that they will get to the bottom of it. I’m just not going to get ahead of this at this time,” she replied. Jean-Pierre refused to answer a number of questions about the cocaine incident.

At this moment I suspect that the WH is negotiating with someone to act as the fall guy and admit the cocaine is theirs and did not come from anyone in the Biden family or Biden's top aids. They are probably haggling over the payoff and the punishment that will be meted out.

Actually I am a little surprised the presence of the cocaine even made the news. How easy would it have been to just cover the whole thing up? LDotter on another thread theorized that this could be some kind of ploy, which makes more sense when you consider all the actors involved.

I first heard of this on Twitter, someone posted an audio clip from a police scanner. Cocaine was mentioned on the air. Honestly I thought it was fake and scrolled on by. This all started with a citizen and thank God for them. The “media” would have kept it under wraps.

Well — he’s running for something. Right now, Joe Manchin plans to run to New Hampshire to headline a No Labels event, along with former governor and politico from another era Jon Huntsman. Together they will make the pitch that Americans deserve another option if the two major parties decide on a rematch of 2020. And while that argument may make sense in that specific circumstance, America would probably want a different choice than these two as the alternative, too: Senator Joe Manchin is headed to New Hampshire next week for an event with No Labels as the group looks to run a third-party candidate

Fox News is facing a new defamation lawsuit from a man who claims that its former host Tucker Carlson falsely identified him as an undercover FBI agent who triggered the January 6th attack on the Capitol. The lawsuit was filed in Delaware Superior Court, the same venue where the network recently faced a lengthy trial over Dominion Voting Systems defamation claims that its hosts and guests amplified a false narrative that the company rigged the 2020 presidential election. Fox News settled the case for $787.5 million. Epps, who voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020, and believed that the latter election was stolen from him, according to the lawsuit.

The Biden administration on Monday slammed the Republican-controlled House’s version of 2024 National Defense Authorization Act for requiring military personnel decisions to be based on merit and not race or gender, among other provisions. “The Administration strongly opposes the House’s sweeping attempts…to eliminate the Department’s longstanding [Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Access] efforts and related initiatives to promote a cohesive and inclusive force,” the Biden administration said in a Statement of Administration Policy. The House’s NDAA contains a number of Republican-authored provisions to roll back the Biden administration’s efforts to push Marxist-based Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives throughout the entire Department of Defense establishment, including the military.

NEW YORK — The Justice Department on Tuesday said that Donald Trump can be held personally liable for remarks he made about a woman who accused him of rape — a reversal of its position that Trump was protected because he was president when he made the remarks. In a letter filed with the judge presiding over a defamation lawsuit that columnist E. Jean Carroll brought in Manhattan federal court in 2020, the department says it no longer has “a sufficient basis” to conclude that Trump was motivated in his statements about Carroll’s claims by more than an insignificant desire to serve the United States. Previously, the department had agreed

In her ruling, Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley said, "Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision has been described as the largest in tech history," and "it deserves scrutiny." "Microsoft has committed in writing, in public, and in court to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation for 10 years on parity with Xbox," she continued. "It made an agreement with Nintendo to bring Call of Duty to Switch. And it entered several agreements

The FBI was essentially doing the bidding of a foreign spy agency, according to the report, which should concern everyone. The report was based on subpoenaed documents. “Although the SBU’s lists contained American accounts, neither the FBI nor Meta appeared to raise concerns about the provenance of the SBU’s ‘disinformation’ registries. If something is falling apart but wants to stay afloat, it's usually a pretty right time for making some changes. Which brings us to Hollywood, where Power Line attorney and writer John Hinderaker has found some good observations: Like most of corporate America, Hollywood has fallen prey to the “DEI” delusion in recent years. Far from being a good thing, corporate “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” measures generally represent a poisonous brew of racism, leftism and anti-Americanism. The sooner this fad fades from the scene, the better. In the Telegraph, U.S. Editor Nick Allen sees signs that the entertainment industry is moving back toward sanity: Hollywood is suffering “diversity fatigue”,

Honduran drug dealers have made a business hub out of San Francisco due to the progressive city’s sanctuary laws for illegal immigration, fueling the nation’s fentanyl epidemic and the visible decline of a major American city. San Francisco’s accommodative approach to illegal immigration makes it appealing to sell there, Honduran dealers told the San Francisco Chronicle as part of an in-depth investigation into how Honduran nationals have come to play a dominant role in the city’s drug crisis. Under current San Francisco law, last amended in July 2016, city employees are forbidden from using city resources to cooperate with any ICE investigation, detention, or arrest relating to an illegal immigration case.

A US official blamed the 80-year-old president's busy schedule over four days and said he's preparing for a 'big speech' on Wednesday when asked why he wasn't attending. Biden, who has only been in Europe since Sunday night and went to the beach on Saturday, had Secretary of State Antony Blinken attend instead. The president's snub came after he told Turkish President Recep Erdogan he would win re-election - and would be working with him for the next five years.
