Sec. State Blinken ordered this review of the department’s response to the Afghanistan withdrawal. The result is critical of both President Trump and President Biden saying they failed to plan appropriately for the withdrawal.
The report is sharply critical of the U.S. government’s handling of the most serious evacuation crisis since the fall of Saigon. It says President Biden and his predecessor, Donald Trump, each failed to appreciate how a U.S. military pullout would affect the Afghan government’s stability, and that standard summer diplomatic rotations in the weeks ahead of Kabul’s collapse left the U.S. evacuation in the hands of personnel who in some cases had been in the country

It couldn't possibly be Trump's fault. Only these lying Dems could say that.
Joe gets the whole responsibility, 100%.

The Knotseez in the State Department must provide as much cover as possible for the Demented Fuhrer. Secretary of Defense Lloyd "EEOC Token" Austin admires the Demented Fuhrer.

Biden ordered the withdrawal, and was in charge of it. Pelosi was in charge of the Capitol on J6. So it was Trump's fault?

I say it was mostly Trump's fault because...no matter what happens it was always going to be Trump's fault. If Biden was at fault at all...it was only because has so much respect for Trump and merely wanted to follow his leadership.
Biden frequently wonders...why can't he just be more like Trump?

Biden had the watch. End of story.

This isn't on Trump, this is wholly on Biden and I suspect Obama's minions.

Tomorrow we’ll learn that Russia,Russia,Russia colluded with TRUMP to torpedo the Afghanistan withdrawal.
Blinken-clown could NEVER blame Biden for ANYTHING since he controls Biden’s every move except falling down.

So, it is Trump's fault because he didn't leave Biden a step by step plan for getting out of Afghanistan?

Haven’t read the story only the headline but President Trump?
Lol.
How’d they rationalize THAT? But no; just this once I’m not reading tripe. I can’t get my blood pressure up by again processing a series of lies.
How ANYONE could get behind a Democrat candidate— or a turncoat American posing as Republican like McConnell or Romney— is unfathomable.
Just you wait: between now and Nov. 2024 will be another, “pandemic,” requiring a “lockdown;” wildfires causing an “air quality emergency,” and another lockdown; or a catastrophic attack on one or several American cities resulting in martial law.
The idea that Lefty agitators like President Obama or Secretary Clinton or the vast army of collectivist Federal employees will allow this election— which is shaping up to be too big to steal— to proceed freely, is unlikely.
Obviously the Long March through American institutions is nearly complete.

And Pearl Harbor was FDR's and Trump's fault. The Japanese launched their attack in anticipation of Trump's becoming President 75 years later.

A CYA attempt by the State Department. Blame it on 45. No way Jose. 45 would have cancelled the pullout. Unfortunately, Joey Baby was in Deep Doo-Doo in his depends. With Thoroughly Modern Milley leading the evac, the Afghans had no chance. If there is a silver lining in the Taliban taking over Afghanistan, it's their elimination of the poppy trade.

The President who started the ill defined, open ended war get much of the blame. So does the corrupt congress, which allows the President to usurp their authority to declare war and allow the President to use the military as a dictator would. These are strategic mistakes of the highest order. Biden’s withdrawal was idiotic and was designed for the purpose of humiliating the United States to the maximum extent possible.

It was my understanding that Trump had an orderly withdraw plan which did not include leaving 90 billion dollars worth of military equipment behind. Biteme and the idiot generals in charge completely ignored Trump's plan. Trump had nothing to do with this.

FTA - "The focus on Trump’s decisions seems like a pretty clear attempt to spread the blame given that the disaster on the ground happened months into the Biden administration. The Post also notices the convenient timing of this report."
Interesting, no? Blinkie, it appears that you had final editorial say-so since you ordered the report and it was you who wanted to spread the blame to cover for your boss. Understand that this surrender was entirely on biden the cheater's watch, pal.

Nice! Some blinkin idiot seems to think the US is responsible for Afghan government’s stability. He might as well have found some turban in Dirtbagistan where to pin the blame. The 44's couldn't get out of their own way for being so well pressed and articulate.

Of course it was Trump's fault, it always is. /s He let Joe steal the election and Joe was more than happy to also steal some of Trump's better ideas except that he botched everything that he attempted. Donald Trump would have bombed the snot out of the Taliban as they marched toward Kabul and the withdrawal would have been unopposed. It's customary to leave a lot of equipment behind because to haul it back home is more expensive than leaving it there. That does NOT apply to functioning weapons and advanced aircraft which the Taliban are happily using or selling.

It was Trump's fault because Biden HAD to do the opposite to Trump's plan no matter what it was.

Biden campaigned upon, promised, and delivered "Undoing EVERYTHING Trump had done, and doing the OPPOSITE of anything Trump would do"...Now insists upon blaming Trump for all of the results of that.
Keep also in mind that Biden Bragged about being "In Charge" of Iraq, when he allowed the ragtag, ISIS swarms to cross over from Syria, capture Military bases and weapons depots, as well as central bank depositories...becoming in a matter of days the best armed, best funded military force in the entire region. An Army with no Country...and his "Plan" to deal with them was to give them 1/3 of Iraq, give Iran another 1/3...and get the US/Coalition completely OUT. Trump said "NO!" and defying the "Best advice" of Longterm"Experienced Military and Diplomatic Experts" wiped them out instead. Biden could have done the same in a single day...when caravans of toyotas filled with small arms carrying ISIS terrorists crossed into Iraq, a couple of flights of a10's, a couple of C130 gunships, and some drones and helos would have "Nipped it all in the Bud".
When he delayed and dithered in Afghanistan because he didn't want to follow Trump plans, he allowed the "Fighting season" to come around, and 10's of thousands of Taliban affiliated fighters to flood in across the borders and down from the Hills, where before they couldn't even travel.
It all just another instance of a Republican winning a war...then a democrat coming in and Losing the Peace. A pattern going all of the way back to the Civil War, and every conflict since.

Keep also in mind Dems blame Bush for 9/11...even though the perps were already in country, trained and ready before he was even elected. An election they STILL claim that THEY won, just as they still claim Hillary! won...and Biden won of course.
