It was bad enough that 51 of the nation’s top intelligence officials declared in Oct. 2020, at the height of the presidential campaign, that Hunter Biden’s laptop “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” But now the flagrant dishonesty of the whole affair has gotten exponentially worse, for any lingering doubt that these officials had access to adequate information when they published their assessment has been put to rest: it has now come to light that the FBI found the laptop to be authentic months before the intelligence officials told the world that it wasn’t. The last doubt that the 51 officials

The White House received backlash Saturday after it was reported that Hunter Biden was accompanying his father to Camp David amid bombshell whistleblower allegations of political corruption – along with recently pleading guilty to federal tax charges and agreeing to plea deal on a felony gun charge.
The House Ways and Means Committee revealed Thursday its interview with an IRS whistleblower last month who shared a WhatsApp message from 2017 in which Hunter Biden allegedly told a Chinese business associate that he and his father would ensure "you will regret not following my direction."

Hunter claimed in the message that he was “sitting here” with his father, a clear effort at intimidation.Comer told host Eric Bolling that he has more information to share soon:

Like some other commentators, I have in recent years several times quoted a famous exchange from Ernest Hemingway’s first novel, The Sun Also Rises. Recent developments in the Biden family money laundering scheme, the implosion of a boutique underwater expedition to the Titanic, and a possible coup in Russia prompt me to wheel it out once again. “‘How did you go bankrupt?’ Bill asked. ‘Two ways,’ Mike said. ‘Gradually, then suddenly.’”
It fits the long-running drama over Hunter Biden’s laptop from hell, I think. Miranda Devine broke news of that scandal in the New York Post in the run-up to the 2020 presidential election.

Social media hasn’t been around for very long, but the truth of what is have revealed about so many people has been transformative and leads to the basic, but important, question: Did social media inspire people to become awful trolls, or did it just give a megaphone to expose so many people truly horrible?
It’s the chicken and the egg and, like that question, the answer doesn’t really matter, the end result is what we have to deal with no matter what. But you do have to feel badly for our species sometimes, and a little disgusted that some members of it are capable of being something so gross,

Former President Donald Trump has been charged with a variety of crimes, including violation of the misnamed Espionage Act.
That 1917 statute is misnamed because it covers a great many offenses that don’t involve spying or giving secrets to the enemy. In fact, over the years it has been used extensively against patriotic Americans who have opposed wars and dissented from other government actions.
In Trump’s case, he is being accused primarily of unlawful possession of allegedly classified material.

Nor did Trump lose because computers were wired to rob him of victory.
Instead, the cheating that likely denied Trump a second term was very close to home.

Meanwhile, the “charges” against these justices are laughable — so much so, that CNN buried the lead in its piece detailing the charges against Alito and Barrett:

The battle between communism and freedom has many chapters, from people jumping The Berlin Wall to Mariel, Cuba in 1980. The World Health Organization (WHO), funded primarily by the CCP and Bill Gates tag team, has been very busy getting its so-called “pandemic treaties” into place, which in effect hand over national control of a state’s public health response to unaccountable multinational bureaucrats — whose interests, not unimportantly, are not shared by the populations over which they exercise authority.
Relatedly, the WHO also succeeded recently in instituting “vaccine passports” across the European Union.
Dovetailing with both of those projects of social control is the organization’s declaration of war on something called an “infodemic.”

Atlanta— Lawmakers in several Republican-led states have been looking to exert more authority over state and local election offices, claiming new powers that Democrats warn could be used to target left-leaning counties in future elections.
The moves range from requiring legislative approval of court settlements in election-related lawsuits to creating paths for taking over local election offices.
In North Carolina, a Republican proposal working its way through the General Assembly would change the composition of state and county election boards and give lawmakers sole authority to appoint board members.

In Cincinnati, the Reds are on a hot streak, winning their last ten games and overtaking the Brewers, who are 4-6 in their last ten games. The Pirates have gone from first to fourth place in the division after losing ten in a row and 13 of their last 15.
Also moving up in the NL Central are the Chicago Cubs, who have won three in a row

“The dam is starting to break” on the Biden family corruption, multiple New York Times best-seller author Peter Schweizer said during an appearance on Breitbart News Saturday.
Schweizer, a senior contributor at Breitbart News and president of the Government Accountability Institute, spoke about the recent Hunter Biden whistleblower revelations.“This is really, really important. The dam is starting to break — truly the first time you’ve had somebody from inside the government who has said, ‘Wait a minute, the way this is being handled is wrong,'” he said, praising the whistleblowers

Former President Donald Trump made a number of second term promises during his speech Saturday night at the Faith & Freedom Coalition's gala - including throwing a giant party to mark America's 250th birthday.
During his presidency, Trump pushed the idea of having North Korea-like military parades and was finally able to pull off a big Fourth of July fete in front of the Lincoln Memorial in 2019 - complete with tanks and flyovers.
Noting how the U.S. would mark a big anniversary in 2026, he pledged to do it again, saying that to 'restore pride in our history and confidence in our future' he would

[Vancouver] is now a cesspit of crime, drugs, human trafficking, child sex and money laundering. We launder most of the drug money in North America. The city has been taken over by a consortium of cartels, Asian and Mexican, who own through their funding of a proliferation of social justice activist groups, members of the city council, the judiciary, as well as members of the provincial and federal government, particularly those in immigration who rubber stamp the papers of the worst criminals

Former President Donald Trump believes President Joe Biden’s family corruption is “100 times bigger than Watergate,” according to his prepared remarks for an address at the Faith and Freedom Coalition, just days after an IRS whistleblower made shocking revelations about the Biden family.
Trump’s speech begins by highlighting the recent IRS whistleblower who revealed that Biden was seated next to his son, Hunter, while Hunter demanded to be paid by CCP-linked Chinese businessman Henry Zhao in 2017.

There is a hardwired instinct in all men that drives them to give their lives and use their strength in projects and ambitions beyond themselves. This drive is built into them by their creator, because he made them in his image, and it exists around the world, across all religions, nations, and generations. It is part of masculinity. All men have this instinctive drive, it is only a matter of how they use it.
For a few hundred years, Christianity held influence over American masculinity. Men used their strength and ambition to build, bless, provide for, and protect the weak.

WASHINGTON — Chris Christie knew what he was going to ruffle some feathers, but he did it anyway.
“I am running because [Trump] let us down,” the former New Jersey governor said during Friday remarks at the annual Faith and Freedom Coalition conference. “He’s let us down because he is unwilling to take responsibility for any of the mistakes that were made, any of the faults that he has, and any of the things that he has done.”
As it became clear the 2024 presidential aspirant was about to criticize Trump, boos and jeers filled the air in the large convention space.

Stockton Rush, the now-deceased CEO of (the probably soon-to-be-defunct) OceanGate, once said that he didn’t hire “50-year-old white guys” with military experience to captain his vessels because they weren’t “inspirational.”
Well, five people are now dead in the 'Titan' tragedy, and it will forever remain a mystery if so-called "uninspiring" 50-year-old white guys with extensive submarine experience could have made a critical difference to the safety of the vessel's ill-fated voyage.
Nonetheless, the event shows that woke D.I.E. (diversity, inclusion, equity) initiatives may now be starting to live up to its macabre-tinged acronym. And as for all the "uninspiring" 50-year-old white men out there, even ChatGPT

“Now is the time to say . . . ‘God is queer.’” Who spoke these blasphemous words, and what was the context of the statement?
The words were spoken by Quinton Caesar, a Lutheran pastor in Germany, at the conclusion of the annual gathering of the nation’s Protestant (meaning Lutheran) pastors.
The conference theme was “Now it the time,” and this was the immediate context of Casear’s words (who himself is black, originally from South Africa): “Now is the time to say: ‘Black lives always matter.’ Now is the time to say: ‘God is queer.’Now is the time to say: ‘We leave no one to die.’

Operation Frankton is virtually unknown in the US, though a well-regarded British movie based on it was released in 1955. It was a daring raid that began on the anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. This, however, was a 100% British operation. The team was selected from among the members of a special detachment of the Royal Marines. Just as the OSS in WWII was the precursor of both the CIA and US Army Special Forces (“de oppresso liber”) these Royal Marines were one of the predecessor units of the UK’s Special Boat Service (SBS,) now more comparable to US Navy SEALs.

This is the beginning of the end of Russia’s war in Ukraine — and likely also of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s rule.
First, here is what we know about the odd events of the past two days.
After almost a year of Wagner Group owner Prigozhin’s near-constant and escalating verbal attacks against Russia’s Ministry of Defense, he commanded his mercenaries to march into Russia.
The “Wagnerites” took over two major Russian cities, Rostov and Voronezh, and appeared intent on continuing to Moscow, where Prigozhin wanted to settle accounts with Sergei Shoigu and Valery Gerasimov, respectively Russia’s defense minister and chief of the general staff,

The Atlanta City Council recently approved funding for the city’s new police training facility. This is a win for the city, communities across the metro Atlanta area, and our law enforcement officers and first responders.
Unfortunately, a small but vocal band of radicals — namely the Defend the Atlanta Forest group — have hijacked the narrative. They oppose the facility, hate the police, and have repeatedly used destruction to make their point.
And when state law enforcement arrested individuals who allegedly helped fund the violence, both Georgia's senators and the Biden administration put political allies before the rule of law.

This morning, the internet informed me that the United States was not among one of the 20 best countries for women. As an American woman, I was naturally curious about why my country was not ranked higher. What organization made this determination, and what were the criteria? I learned that the decree had been issued by the World Economic Forum, an international lobbying organization founded in 1971 and based in Switzerland.
According to their website, “The Forum engages the foremost political, business, cultural and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.”

In recent years, reading, math, science, and other scores have been plummeting in America. Schools are not teaching students to read, to do math, to understand the scientific method, or to think critically. Because some races poll lower than the average in accomplishment, and some poll higher than the average, teachers and school boards around the country are dumbing down teaching and testing so that no one fails. This allows the failures to feel good about themselves and angers the overachievers because they are being dumbed down, too. They recognize they are being done no favors with a slack-off curriculum.

This week, as accounts of the whistleblowers who blew the lid off the hampered investigations of the President’s crackhead son Hunter were made public, I imagined a writer making a pitch to producers for a dramatic program called Wilmington, a political version, if you will, of Dallas with more than a hint of the Godfather. Clearly, my proposed dramatization covers so much ground, it will have to be serialized. (snip) the story reads like the sleaziest of television series. There’s incest, the president showering with his young daughter per her diary which she left behind in a hotel room; tax cheating and sexual peccadillos -- Hunter

When Judge Aileen Cannon scheduled the trial of Donald Trump in the Mar-a-Lago documents case for August 14, 2023, no one who knew the slightest thing about court procedure expected that to hold. Among other things, Trump doesn’t even have a full defense team (his prior team quit), his new lawyers will need to get security clearances to view classified documents, and procedures for the handling and control of classified material would have to be worked out. An August trial never was going to happen.(Snip)The Aug. date was set just to satisfy the Speedy Trial Act requirement.
