June 21, 2023: The Day the World Ended

Did you notice that humanity ended on June 21? I didn’t, either. But Greta Thunberg said it would happen, so I guess it did. On June 21, 2018, Greta tweeted: “A top climate scientist is warning that climate change will wipe out all of humanity unless we stop using fossil fuels over the next five years.” Well, we didn’t stop using fossil fuels, so I guess humanity was wiped out. Too bad. I wanted to eat at Burger King today, but I guess there won’t be anybody there to serve me.

Unnamed sources cited by 14 year olds. Such is the state of leadership. Perhaps someone can find a tortilla that has scorch marks that appear to say "Global Warming is Real" and that can be used to persuade the masses.

I think she said it would be too late to save humanity, not that we would all die on that date. However, Greta is still out protesting. If it is now too late to save us from the apocalypse, any further protesting is useless, right?

Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito has become the target of an unscrupulous attack by left-wing radicals who apparently feel that since they can’t alter the ideological makeup of the Supreme Court by winning elections, they’ll do it the old-fashioned way. They’ll use smears, lies, gross exaggerations, and false and hysterical charges of wrongdoing to force conservative justices off the court. Do you think it’s a coincidence that these attacks on Alito, Clarence Thomas, and Amy Coney Barrett are occurring when a Democratic president is in office? Meanwhile, the “charges” against these justices are laughable — so much so, that CNN buried the lead in its piece detailing the charges against Alito and Barrett:

With the sweetheart deal that Hunter Biden just got from federal prosecutors, Attorney General Merrick Garland has once again confirmed that he has taken the Justice Department, which was once the envy of the world for its indefatigable commitment to equal justice for all, and turned it into a squad of legal hit men for foes of the Biden regime and a legal laundromat for the regime’s members and cronies, most notably for the alleged president’s crackhead influence-peddling son. Garland himself, however, bristles if you believe your lying eyes on this matter. On Friday he complained that charges that his Justice Department was doling out frame jobs for dissidents

New York City LGBTQXYZLMNOP etc. etc. activists just came out of the closet… as pedophiles. At least, how else should we interpret a lot of LGBTQ activists marching about chanting, “We’re coming for your children”? Of course, this chant is similar to the sentiment expressed by our esteemed president and his ever-brilliant White House press secretary. “There is no such thing as someone else’s child,” Joe Biden asserted in April. “Our nation’s children are all our children.” Fact-check: false. And in May, White House Press Secretary and open lesbian Karine Jean-Pierre made the same creepy claim regarding parents’ objections to transgender surgeries for children: “These are our kids.

The doomed Titanic sub would have imploded and killed its crew so fast the five people aboard “never knew it happened,” an expert in submersibles told The Post. Debris from the OceanGate Expeditions’ Titan submersible was found Thursday, confirming all those aboard had perished. The Coast Guard said the array of debris on the ocean floor, found 1,600 feet from the bow of the Titanic, meant the craft would have suffered a “catastrophic implosion,” sometime after it had been lost one hour and 45 minutes into its dive to the wreck, 12,500 feet below the surface on Sunday. By the time communication was lost,

Bud Light just ended two months of social media silence with a new online ad designed to win back boycotting customers by portraying them as “bumbling fools,” according to one Twitter critic, and as “buffoon-ish whites,” according to another. The beer brand’s sales have plummeted almost 30% since a brief social media campaign featuring he-who-shall-not-be-named, followed by ham-fisted reversals. The latest attempt to win back boycotters is more ham-fisted than an entire Thanos fist made entirely out of Spam. In courthouses where cameras aren't allowed, the courthouse artist produces the image of record. That is why assorted leftists exploded in rage at the bland courthouse drawings of William Hennessey, Jr., who up until now has said his work rarely draws any attention. According to Jack Montgomery at the National Pulse: Leftists raged at an obscure sketch artist following Trump's arraignment in Miami, seething that the former president looked too young and handsome in his courtroom drawings. "The courtroom sketch artist, William Hennessy [J]r., is far too kind to [Donald Trump]," wrote one Twitter user. "His pastel drawings make the pig look at least 20 years younger and 90 pounds thinner."

President Joe Biden spilled “sensitive” United States intelligence about China to campaign donors at a recent event in California, according to a report. At the fundraiser in California, Biden revealed to attendees what the U.S. intelligence agencies had learned about the Chinese spy balloon incident earlier this year, reportedly surprising U.S. officials. The New York Times reported that at the fundraiser, Biden “set off into what appeared to be an unplanned riff” about the spy balloon incident, “revealing what United States intelligence agencies had learned about the internal confusion in Beijing during the incident.” According to the Times, Biden told about 130 guests in attendance at the fundraiser:

A man who tried to carjack undercover police officers in Kentucky's largest city was fatally shot by a Louisville Metro Police officer, authorities said. The shooting happened Monday afternoon as two undercover officers were inside a vehicle and trying to catch a suspect in an unrelated investigation when they were approached by a man in his 20s armed with a gun who attempted to carjack them, Interim Police Chief Jackie Gwinn-Villaroel told news outlets. One of the officers shot the man with his service weapon and both officers provided medical aid, Gwinn-Villaroel said, but the suspect died from his injuries.

Joe Biden was again at his beach house in Delaware for more vacation over the weekend. He then left there on Monday and flew to Santa Clara County, California, to deliver remarks about climate change and the environment. He’s later scheduled to go to a campaign reception. At his climate remarks were Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-CA) and California Gov. Gavin Newsom (who some think may be pushing something of a shadow campaign to take over if Biden can’t continue his campaign). But the time in Delaware doesn’t seem to have rejuvenated him. What he said prompted more calls for him to step aside and for people to invoke the 25th Amendment.

[Tweet] Now you can add yet another casualty to the racism obsession: The Body Mass Index. BMI has been used by doctors for decades to help determine a person’s health. The federal bureaucracy is a smoldering smorgasbord of corruption, incompetence, and pride flag-waving wokeness, and the big questions for the next Republican president are where to start fixing it and how. There are a few things that need to happen day one to begin imposing our iron discipline upon the out-of-control derp state – pardons for every persecuted victim of the two-tiered “justice” system, orders to comply with all GOP investigatory subpoenas immediately, and firing Chris Wray. But defeating the unofficial fourth branch of government requires focus and intensity. You cannot take it down overnight because it will fight back with support from the regime media.

First gas stoves, now wood-fired ovens. New York City will be cracking down on wood-fired pizza joints to reduce carbon emissions by up to 75%. “All New Yorkers deserve to breathe healthy air and wood and coal-fired stoves are among the largest contributors of harmful pollutants in neighborhoods with poor air quality,” Department of Environmental Protection spokesman Ted Timbers said in a statement to the New York Post on Sunday. “This common-sense rule, developed with restaurant and environmental justice groups, requires a professional review of whether installing emission controls is feasible.”

Jill Biden has been reassuring donors that 'nothing' can slow down Joe Biden as a new poll shows a majority of voters remain concerned about his mental and physical health to be president. We’ve long been critical of Hollywood’s lack of fresh, new ideas and its apparent fascination with rebooting past films or giving us a sequel decades later. Sadly, merely paying homage to the original material is insufficient. Instead, producers opt to incorporate “wokeness,” believing it will be more appealing to modern viewers, but in the process, they end up taking something beloved and turning it into garbage that the masses don’t want to see. The latest example is Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, the prequel series to the 1978 hit film Grease. I’m not sure who wanted this — it’s bad enough to hear any of the original songs

Something changed last week inside the Beltway that suggests the people who run the Democratic Party now realize President Biden’s tenure in office is not sustainable beyond 2024. The “tell” was not, however, the latest revelation by IRS whistleblowers about his corrupt administration. It was instead the sudden awakening of the White House press corps. The same “reporters” who snored through more than two years of preposterous claims by Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and her predecessor simultaneously woke up Friday. Correspondents from media outlets CNN, CBS, NBC, and even the New York Times aggressively questioned Jean-Pierre about the metastasizing Hunter Biden scandals.

In 2024 Republicans cannot "out-fraud" the left, cannot "out-ballot-harvest" them, cannot "out-lawfare" them, cannot "out-media" them, cannot "out–contribution mule" them, cannot "out–Justice Department" them...but sure as hell can out-compute them — and that may do it. The left owns the election apparatus — voting equipment, ballot-manufacturing, vagrant habitats, election commissions, media intimidation of judges not to look at election fraud and driving out any lawyer who raises a valid case. Electioneering, by both sides, currently runs 1970s technology. Leftists make good use of obsolete relational tech; Republicans, not so much. In 2024, there is an opportunity to out-compute the left. Wray last testified before Congress in Nov. 2022, when he appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Wray’s scheduled appearance was first reported by Punchbowl News.
