Former President Donald Trump on Friday called for any Republican voting against the censure of Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) to be primaried. Trump posted on Truth Social:Anna Paulina Luna is a STAR. She never gives up, especially in holding total lowlifes like Adam “Shifty” Schiff responsible for their lies, deceit, deception, and actually putting our Country at great risk, for which he should be imprisoned! He is a Leaker and a Scoundrel. Any Republican voting against his CENSURE, or worse, should immediately be primaried. There are plenty of great candidates out there!

There is a reason for term limits and tis is the biggest one. They who voted against censure have gone over to the dark side.

PDJT's push to get others penalized has, so far, been more bark than bite. He didn't even get Crooked Hillary censured after campaigning on the goal of locking her up. And censure is just worthless symbolism. Is there something he's aiming to achieve with this bluster? Maybe distract attention from something else?

Congress should have a rule that any congress member who knowingly utters a lie in a congressional session shall be punished by a censure vote and a fine of $1,000 per lie. How many times did shifty-eyed Shiff say he had proof that Trump had Putin's backing?

As usual, Trump is right. If you can't tell the difference between basic right and wrong and want to vote with political reasons in mind instead of with the real half of America, you should not be an American citizen, not to mention a member of Congress. This is half our problem, unpatriotic, selfish idiots running the show. It's always going to be fixed in the next election but it never is.

It's imprtnt to dig a little deeper into this one. I'm all behind Anna reintroducing something. The $$ penalty might have scared off some in that the next time the Dems get the House they will use that. Something needs to be done and the Republican that can't find some penalty definitely need to pay for that. As well Schift and other Dems that fully told these lies. Could some journalists and media types have to somehow atone for their lies as well?

An issue brief published by the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) finds clear correlations between children raised in fatherless homes and developmental challenges such as anger problems, violent tendencies, and overall lower educational scores. U.S. Census Bureau data shows that as of 2022, more than 18 million children across the nation live in fatherless homes — indicating that about one in four children do not have a father figure in their household.

Sen. Tim Scott responded to Barack Obama's attacks on him by claiming it's proof Democrats are 'threatened' by his candidacy in the 2024 Republican presidential primary. The primary contender is only polling around 3 percent, but is facing an onslaught from Democrats who claim that he doesn't understand race issues in America as a black Republican. 'There's no higher compliment than being attacked by President Obama,' Scott told Fox News Sunday. 'Whenever the Democrats feel threatened, they pull out – drag out the former president and have him make some negative comments about someone running, hoping that their numbers go down.'

In about three weeks, we will once again be celebrating the Fourth of July, America’s Independence Day. But what are we really celebrating? For all too many Americans, the Fourth of July is just another summer holiday, albeit one with fireworks. Of course, most Americans dimly recollect that it was on this day, sometime in the distant past, that Americans declared their independence from Great Britain. But they seldom stop to reflect on the true revolution that the Fourth of July signifies: the Declaration of Independence and the creation of a nation based on a universal idea. As Alexander Hamilton put it in the Federalist,

Monday, the nineteenth of June, is our newest federal holiday (just 2 years old), Juneteenth, and federal workers get yet another day’s pay without having to work for it. Since the federal workforce is heavily overrepresented with black workers (18.2% of the federal workforce versus 12.6% of the population), the words “disparate impact” come to mind, benefitting African Americans with a paid holiday that not too many other employees get, judging by the fact that I was able to book two appointments with service providers tomorrow before I even realized Monday was holiday.

That’s the only explanation I can give for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) berating the state of Florida for executing Duane Owen, who was convicted of raping and murdering a 14-year-old babysitter and a 38-year-old mother of two. Indeed, the ACLU is strongly opposed to capital punishment. But the organization only made passing reference to their opposition to the death penalty. Instead, they were livid with Florida for executing Duane Owen because the state refused to allow Owen to “transition” to female. (Snip) “No one should be killed by the state. Asked about Scott’s messaging, Obama said there was sometimes a tendency among Republican candidates to gloss over the effects of racism, arguing that candidates need to address racial disparities to be taken seriously on the subject of American unity.
