The transgender issue makes everyone crazy. That’s the only explanation I can give for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) berating the state of Florida for executing Duane Owen, who was convicted of raping and murdering a 14-year-old babysitter and a 38-year-old mother of two. Indeed, the ACLU is strongly opposed to capital punishment. But the organization only made passing reference to their opposition to the death penalty. Instead, they were livid with Florida for executing Duane Owen because the state refused to allow Owen to “transition” to female. (Snip) “No one should be killed by the state. The time to end the racist, unfair, and cruel death penalty is now,”

“Planned Parenthood, as it turns out, has violated 501(c)(3) Federal Law by opposing candidates in public statements,” writes Sean Elijah Le Van, an undergrad student at Columbia University. (God, he must be miserable there.) “This should cause them to lose their tax-exempt status, reserved for churches and charities,” he argues, pointing out that “The Church at Pierce Creek lost their tax-exempt status in 1993 over opposing President Clinton.”

We have seen for some time how off-the-rails the FBI has become, a danger to a free society. More and more evidence now shows it’s not just the FBI. At one time I had joined the ACLU but abandoned them when it became clear that civil liberties weren't what they were about. At bottom, they were a just bunch of commies who hated America. This murderer was executed about thirty-eight years too late, but better late than never.
