Five people were killed and at least 42 were injured in multiple shootings as violence erupted across the country over the holiday weekend. A shooting at a Juneteenth celebration in a suburban Illinois town left one person dead after at least 20 people were shot outside a shopping center overnight. Just what we needed, another black "holiday" to celebrate by shooting people. I would be you that in that crowd of 300 you would not find five people who could tell you what "Juneteenth" commemorates. They took a Texas event and made it another FEDERAL holiday so that we have to pay government employees for NOT working. At least in the Illinois, DuPage County shooting there will be prosecutions. Five miles to the East, in Cook County, they wouldn't bat an eye. Party goers would be smart to consult a map when "celebrating" all the upcoming graduations and pool parties. That county line jogs around a bit.

My fellow Brooklynite Chris Rock famously said - - "If you're in an unfamiliar area and you find yourself on MLK Boulevard - - you're in the wrong part of town!" Similarly - - if you find yourself at a Juneteenth "celebration" - - get the heck away from there! There are more "teens" and "youths" there - - than you'd care to deal with.

When driving down the interstate through ANY city ... When you see the exit for MLK Boulevard, don't take it. Drive faster and keep going. Sorry Martin (not his real name by the way. Google it.), your buddies Jesse Jackson and John Lewis used all that blood and the photo op to get themselves rich. They are, you're dead. So are a couple dozen black June Teenth celebrants.

It is merely their preferred way to celebrate their emancipation, along with pretty much everything else. Violence is their natural reaction to all of life's irritants, no matter how small or insignificant. It is simply best to follow Scott Adams' advice and star the f--- away from black people.

Strange that Juneteenth is celebrated, apparently because they finally got the news two years late that Lincoln 'freed' the slaves. But in actuality, they weren't legally free until the 14th amendment was finally passed. So it's basically celebrating that they were the last to know about an important step in the freedom process.

Arrived early for a dental appointment and had to wait in the parking lot for the building to open. Waiting with me was a black woman from the Caribbean. We talked about a number of things, but she said something that stuck with me. She did not understand why the blacks born in America complained about everything. She said there were so many opportunities here, they should be happy to be born in such a country. She thought America was a wonderful place.
