James Comer is a hero. It would be a lot easier for him to let sleeping dogs lie when it comes to the Biden family corruption scandal and the even bigger scandal of the subsequent FBI/CIA coverup which kept American voters in the dark about one of the two presidential candidates in the 2020 election. But with the backing of Speaker Kevin McCarthy, Comer is right over the target with his House Oversight Committee investigations, and his confrontation with the FBI is both necessary and courageous. Agreed, Comer is a hero. I hope he has good bodyguards 24/7. The Dems kill people who cause them trouble.

As we speak, FBI agents are digging into every aspect of Comer's personal life. Look for MSNBC to break the story, citing anonymous sources.

Trump Challenged DeSantis' Record on COVID.
It's Already Backfiring

In the transactional mindset that governs former president Donald Trump's approach to everything, it makes sense he would seek to attack his leading rival for the Republican nomination for president, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, over the one thing that endeared the latter most to GOP voters: his record during the coronavirus pandemic. But rather than merely dismiss these attacks as a classic Trump tactic—lobbing fallacious claims to enrage opponents while blithely moving on to other attacks and never acknowledging where he has misspoken—the former president has highlighted something that ought to be discussed in 2024. During the pandemic, Republicans hailed DeSantis for being the slowest to lock down his state

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland on Tuesday demanding documentation related to the FBI’s raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate last year. The raid — which took place on Aug. 8, 2022 — was reportedly aimed at retrieving “any document Trump ever saw, read, or created for the entirety of his four years as commander-in-chief.” Due to the unprecedented nature of the Biden DOJ conducting a raid on a former president and a potential 2024 rival, House Judiciary Republicans sent letters to Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and then-White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain demanding records

The confidential human source (CHS) behind the detailed allegations that then-Vice President Joe Biden agreed to accept money from a foreign national to affect policy decisions was reportedly “highly credible” and used by the FBI in multiple criminal investigations dating back to the Obama administration. Friday’s exclusive by Fox News provides further insight into Sen. Chuck Grassley’s focus on the FBI — as opposed to the Biden family — as the primary scandal in play. “We aren’t interested in whether or not the accusations against [then]-Vice President Biden are accurate,” Grassley said during an interview last week discussing FBI Director Christopher Wray’s refusal to comply

f you spend much time perusing the musings of political pundits you may have noticed the emergence of a subgenre of opinion writing that devotes itself to the following question: Why is President Biden so unpopular? A recent contribution to this growing body of work was offered a few days ago in Newsweek. Matt Robison, a former congressional staffer turned podcaster, laments that Biden boasts a long list of “massive achievements” yet somehow endures historically low approval ratings.
DeSantis Looks To Prove Trump Wrong in Iowa 6 replies

Ron DeSantis dove headfirst into campaign life this week, speaking to voters in five Iowa cities across a roughly 24-hour span. The Hawkeye-state blitz was the first foray of DeSantis’ presidential campaign following a glitch-marred virtual kickoff event last week and looked to establish some early momentum for the Florida governor ahead of Iowa’s crucial first-in-the-nation primary. Polls show that he needs it. Frontrunner Donald Trump maintains an imposing 22.4% lead over DeSantis in the current RealClearPolitics Average in Iowa, and he’s not shy about making sure people know it. When he’s not barraging DeSantis with taunts and insults online, Trump has a habit

A Pride flag was burned at an elementary school in North Hollywood. It belonged to a transgender teacher at the school. It was a small flag displayed in a planter outside of a classroom at Saticoy Elementary School. Governor Gavin Newsom is shook by this incident and ranted on Twitter about it.(Snip for Tweet)Progressives are so deranged that everything is blamed on “the far-right” whether there is proof or not. It is automatically assumed that the far-right is responsible in the media and among Democrat politicians. Los Angeles police are investigating it as a “vandalism hate crime.” There has been absolutely no evidence that anyone or any group in

Now that Ron DeSantis has entered the race for the GOP presidential nomination, former President Trump and many of his supporters have accused the Florida governor of disloyalty. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, for example, has suggested that DeSantis’ political ambitions have caused him to lose sight of “values like loyalty.” The basis for this claim is that DeSantis somehow owes Trump a 21st century version of feudal fealty because the latter endorsed him during Florida’s 2018 gubernatorial race. This kind of nonsense plays into the hands of the Democrats.

It took a few tries by Elon Musk yesterday afternoon for the Republican presidential field to officially firm up, even if it’s not necessarily complete. Ron DeSantis patiently waited for a series of technical failures to resolve before officially announcing his candidacy for the presidency, and delivered a short speech before fielding a Q&A with several figures. And while the rocky start no doubt frustrated DeSantis and Musk, the fact that well over 600,000 people simultaneously attempted to participate in the campaign launch speaks to a lot of interest in DeSantis, if not outright support. We may still see a few other candidates get into the race. Glenn Youngkin is signaling

Tim Scott’s announcement here Monday that he’s running for president came mere days before Ron DeSantis is expected to declare his own, far more ballyhooed campaign, joining Donald Trump in what has looked for months like a two-person race for the Republican nomination. Scott, polling in low single digits, is starting far behind. But in what’s likely to become an even wider field of longshot candidates, the South Carolina senator is plotting a path that many Republican donors and strategists consider credible if Trump or DeSantis falters. His campaign is powered by a sizable war chest and a record of electoral success in his home state

One of the tedious chores that must be performed by any conscientious member of the commentariat involves perusing America’s “newspaper of record.” Despite its dishonest reporting, the Times provides a useful preview of the spin that will be adopted by the corporate media on major news stories. To be fair, the Gray Lady does contain one section that offers some respite from an otherwise painful read. Its opinion page is a rich source of comic relief. A recent example is a thigh-slapper in which the editorial board asks, “Why Is George Santos Still in Office?”

The just-released Durham report confirmed that the FBI not only failed to corroborate the Steele dossier, Hillary Clinton’s oppo-doc against Donald Trump, but it regularly ignored existing, sometimes dispositive, evidence to keep the investigation alive. Some officials were credulous. Others were devious. But no one “stole” our democracy — other than perhaps intelligence officials and the journalists who helped feed the collective hysteria over Russia. John Brennan, Hamas-loving authoritarian and partisan propagandist, almost surely knew it was a con from the start. Yet he spent four years on television sounding like a deranged subreddit commenter.

A correctional counselor in New York City, Vanbuckley has been living with her parents and tucking as much money as possible into her savings account. Last Thursday, in the DC District swamp, the jury for the Jan. 6 trial in the case of USA v K. Joseph Thomas produced a stunning verdict, bringing the government’s narrative to its knees. The testimony of crooked prosecution witness MPD Police Officer Campanale was shattered by the defense team as his accusations against the defendant proved with the government’s own evidentiary video that he accused Thomas of crimes he committed himself. Campanale and other officers of the MPD had cut the tarps on the bleachers before any protestors were under the bleachers.

The experts at the Tax Foundation fret that the current debate about extending the debt ceiling has lost track of the fact that Social Security is a major contributor to our growing deficit and debt crisis. They may be right about the fiscal ADHD on Capitol Hill, however, let’s make sure we are keeping track of the right discussion. It is true that both the growing deficit and long-term stability of Social Security are valid concerns that should draw the attention of Americans. These issues deserve the attention of all voters -- just not in the same sentence.
