Ron DeSantis dove headfirst into campaign life this week, speaking to voters in five Iowa cities across a roughly 24-hour span. The Hawkeye-state blitz was the first foray of DeSantis’ presidential campaign following a glitch-marred virtual kickoff event last week and looked to establish some early momentum for the Florida governor ahead of Iowa’s crucial first-in-the-nation primary. Polls show that he needs it. Frontrunner Donald Trump maintains an imposing 22.4% lead over DeSantis in the current RealClearPolitics Average in Iowa, and he’s not shy about making sure people know it. Trump by 20%. And the MSM will call that a win for DeSantis.

1. Do you believe the Department of Justice, the FBI, the media, and our foreign intelligence services conspired to manipulate the 2016 Election? Both through a Russia hoax AND by covering for Clinton's felonies? 2. Do you believe they kept a fraud going for four years to hamstring a duly elected President? 3. Do you believe they covered for the corruption of the Biden family in order to influence the 2020 election? 4. Do you believe any of these people will ever face justice for turning America into a Banana Republic? If you gave me three yes answers and one no answer, then there is no DeSantis campaign. Because Trump has to win in order to redress a crime against the people. Otherwise, you acknowledge that the Deep State has the right to approve of who you do or do not vote for. Support DeSantis, and Comey and Brennan and all the rest win.

Trump is running scared, and he should be. And anybody who thinks DeSantis is somehow the candidate of the deep state needs to change their meds right away.

A Pride flag was burned at an elementary school in North Hollywood. It belonged to a transgender teacher at the school. It was a small flag displayed in a planter outside of a classroom at Saticoy Elementary School. Governor Gavin Newsom is shook by this incident and ranted on Twitter about it.(Snip for Tweet)Progressives are so deranged that everything is blamed on “the far-right” whether there is proof or not. It is automatically assumed that the far-right is responsible in the media and among Democrat politicians. Trump, DeSantis, and the Dangers of Blind Loyalty 19 replies

Now that Ron DeSantis has entered the race for the GOP presidential nomination, former President Trump and many of his supporters have accused the Florida governor of disloyalty. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, for example, has suggested that DeSantis’ political ambitions have caused him to lose sight of “values like loyalty.” The basis for this claim is that DeSantis somehow owes Trump a 21st century version of feudal fealty because the latter endorsed him during Florida’s 2018 gubernatorial race. This kind of nonsense plays into the hands of the Democrats.

It took a few tries by Elon Musk yesterday afternoon for the Republican presidential field to officially firm up, even if it’s not necessarily complete. Ron DeSantis patiently waited for a series of technical failures to resolve before officially announcing his candidacy for the presidency, and delivered a short speech before fielding a Q&A with several figures. And while the rocky start no doubt frustrated DeSantis and Musk, the fact that well over 600,000 people simultaneously attempted to participate in the campaign launch speaks to a lot of interest in DeSantis, if not outright support. We may still see a few other candidates get into the race. Glenn Youngkin is signaling

Tim Scott’s announcement here Monday that he’s running for president came mere days before Ron DeSantis is expected to declare his own, far more ballyhooed campaign, joining Donald Trump in what has looked for months like a two-person race for the Republican nomination. Scott, polling in low single digits, is starting far behind. But in what’s likely to become an even wider field of longshot candidates, the South Carolina senator is plotting a path that many Republican donors and strategists consider credible if Trump or DeSantis falters. His campaign is powered by a sizable war chest and a record of electoral success in his home state

One of the tedious chores that must be performed by any conscientious member of the commentariat involves perusing America’s “newspaper of record.” Despite its dishonest reporting, the Times provides a useful preview of the spin that will be adopted by the corporate media on major news stories. To be fair, the Gray Lady does contain one section that offers some respite from an otherwise painful read. Its opinion page is a rich source of comic relief. A recent example is a thigh-slapper in which the editorial board asks, “Why Is George Santos Still in Office?”

The just-released Durham report confirmed that the FBI not only failed to corroborate the Steele dossier, Hillary Clinton’s oppo-doc against Donald Trump, but it regularly ignored existing, sometimes dispositive, evidence to keep the investigation alive. Some officials were credulous. Others were devious. But no one “stole” our democracy — other than perhaps intelligence officials and the journalists who helped feed the collective hysteria over Russia. John Brennan, Hamas-loving authoritarian and partisan propagandist, almost surely knew it was a con from the start. Yet he spent four years on television sounding like a deranged subreddit commenter.

For some reason, Illinois’ Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzker – much like his California counterpart Gavin Newsom – thinks taking periodic swipes at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is a good idea.Unfortunately for both of them, DeSantis is usually able to knock them down with without breaking a sweat, exposing their two-faced nature in the process. That is exactly how things played out last Thursday and Friday after an obviously triggered Pritzker issued a buzzword-filled statement denouncing DeSantis’ upcoming visit to his state ahead of an anticipated 2024 presidential announcement. “Ron DeSantis swears that he is fighting to protect people’s ‘freedoms,’ but he has no problem taking away their reproductive rights,

It’s clear that the Democrats and their corporate media partners believe President Biden’s best chance of remaining in the White House after 2024 is to assure that his Republican opponent in the general election is former President Trump. To that end, they have launched the political equivalent of the old “pump and dump” investment scam in which fraudsters disseminate false information to artificially drive up the price of a stock and suddenly sell off their own shares when its “value” peaks.

The Justice Department did not deny the existence of a record alleging a criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden, the House Oversight Committee confirmed to Breitbart News Wednesday. On May 3, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) subpoenaed the FBI for records alleging the criminal scheme. The document, an FBI-generated FD-1023 form, allegedly details an arrangement involving an exchange of money for policy decisions between now-President Biden and a foreign national. Comer issued the subpoena following legally protected disclosures by a whistleblower to Sen. Chuck Grassley’s (R-IA) office
