Democrat and Ranking member of the House Weaponization Subcommittee says the quiet part out loud. Democrat Delegate to the House of Representatives from the US Virgin Islands Stacey Plaskett appeared to make a Freudian slip during her latest appearance on MSNBC. During her latest appearance on The Sunday Show Plaskett stated, “Having Trump not only having the codes but now having the classified information for Americans and being able to put that out and share it in his resort with anyone and everything who comes through should be terrifying to all Americans.” Plaskett then continued, “He needs to be (shot) — Stopped.”

Meghan Markle could become one of the highest paid influencers in the world, receiving £200,000 per post to endorse brands, experts have suggested, as she is tipped to become the new face of French fashion house Dior.
The Duchess of Sussex was dealt a blow by audio giant Spotify earlier this week after it was announced that they would not be renewing her podcast Archetypes for a second season following a 'mutual' decision - a move that could see Meghan and Prince Harry lose $10 million.
But Meghan is set to weather the storm,

Merrick Garland began his tenure as attorney general with the stated intention of restoring faith in the Justice Department and the rule of law. By that standard, Garland has been a failure.
In fact, if anything, the crisis of faith surrounding his department has only deepened on his watch, and he bears some of the blame. Polls show that half the country distrusts the FBI. A recent poll by Harvard CAPS-Harris found that 70 percent are either very or somewhat concerned about election interference by the FBI and other intelligence agencies. An additional 71 percent agreed that changes post-2016 had not done enough to prevent further interference and

Presidential hopeful Mike Pence won't say whether he would pardon Donald Trump, claiming that the former president could still be found innocent in his federal indictment.
Trump's former VP shared with NBC host Chuck Todd that he was hoping Trump would 'come around' to accepting the results of the 2020 election by now.
Pence is now running against his former boss in the 2024 primary – and argued that Trump is not the same leader he was when they ran together in 2016.

Our insatiable need for water may be keeping us alive, but it's shifting the tilt of the Earth, a new study shows.
Researchers in Korea say the removal of groundwater around the world for drinking and irrigation is altering the Earth's mass and in turn making its axis 'wobble'. Changing the position of the axis can potentially increase the amount of sunlight the poles are getting, which can increase the melting of polar ice.
According to the team, we've shifted such a large mass of water that the Earth tilted 31 inches (78.5cm) east between 1993 and 2010 alone.

Former President Obama wants the government to be able to track and hunt down Americans by their fingerprints if they dare spread so-called "misinformation." During an interview with podcast host David Axelrod, Obama called for implementing "digital fingerprints" as a mandatory online requirement to combat misinformation.
The Democrat suggested the government needs a way to track and identify people who spread so-called "misinformation" online.
The CNN podcaster claimed he has seen "misinformation, disinformation, [and] deep fakes" targeting the former president, which Obama agreed with

Five people were killed and at least 42 were injured in multiple shootings as violence erupted across the country over the holiday weekend.
A shooting at a Juneteenth celebration in a suburban Illinois town left one person dead after at least 20 people were shot outside a shopping center overnight.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. on Route 83 near Honeysuckle Lane in Willowbrook, Illinois, Battalion Chief Joe Ostrander with the Tri-State Fire Protection District told WLS.

Monday, the nineteenth of June, is our newest federal holiday (just 2 years old), Juneteenth, and federal workers get yet another day’s pay without having to work for it. Since the federal workforce is heavily overrepresented with black workers (18.2% of the federal workforce versus 12.6% of the population), the words “disparate impact” come to mind, benefitting African Americans with a paid holiday that not too many other employees get, judging by the fact that I was able to book two appointments with service providers tomorrow before I even realized Monday was holiday.

The transgender issue makes everyone crazy. That’s the only explanation I can give for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) berating the state of Florida for executing Duane Owen, who was convicted of raping and murdering a 14-year-old babysitter and a 38-year-old mother of two.
Indeed, the ACLU is strongly opposed to capital punishment. But the organization only made passing reference to their opposition to the death penalty. Instead, they were livid with Florida for executing Duane Owen because the state refused to allow Owen to “transition” to female. (Snip) “No one should be killed by the state. The time to end the racist, unfair, and cruel death penalty is now,”

Scott is the only Black candidate in the 2024 Republican presidential primary race and Haley is Indian American.
Which has got to leave a sour taste in Scott's mouth, given that he's the only black man in the presidential race, and what's more, he's actually lived firsthand through the era of real racism as a child growing up in the South.
Asked about Scott’s messaging, Obama said there was sometimes a tendency among Republican candidates to gloss over the effects of racism, arguing that candidates need to address racial disparities to be taken seriously on the subject of American unity.

Joe Biden on Friday left Americans scratching their heads with an off-the-cuff remark that was, well, royally unusual for a US president: “God save the queen, man!”
What he meant, which queen he was referring to, and why he threw in what sounded like the traditional patriotic British cry, no one could immediately tell.Queen Elizabeth II, whom Biden met, died in September 2022 and was replaced by a king — her son Charles.Biden had just completed an impassioned speech at the National Safer Communities Summit in Connecticut on getting Congress to toughen gun ownership laws when he made the remark from the stage. Biden regime spokesditz Karine Jean-Pierre wants you to know that she is very, very important, and that she is working with other important people who are doing important things. “This is a historic administration,” she announced in a new interview. “I’m a historic figure, and I certainly walk in history every day.” And for once, Jean-Pierre has said something that is entirely true: she is indeed a historic figure who will be remembered long after she has stopped lying and gaslighting the American people with half-baked regime talking points, ineptly delivered. She will be remembered as the most public and obvious indication ever of the wrongheadedness
