Republican presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis called President Biden’s fall at the Air Force Academy graduation Thursday “sad” and “frustrating.” “It’s a sad thing to see,” DeSantis said in Beaufort County, S.C., on Friday. “You don’t want to see anyone do that. But it was frustrating because honestly that was symbolic of the state of our country.” “Our country continues to stub its toe,” he added. “Our country continues to trip and fall. Our country continues to go in the wrong direction.” Biden fell on stage at the Air Force Academy commencement ceremony Thursday, after he reportedly tripped over a sandbag. “I got sandbagged,” he joked

I beg to disagree: Joe Biden is the age in which the kinesthetic sense is no longer sharply attuned to EXACTLY where the body parts are, so his fall over some object on the floor is not at all "sad and frustrating," Mr Disantis but entirely understandable to those of US in that age although having said that, we must not let such things distract us from the real problem with Joe and that is his significant and observable DEMENTIA, which does not cause him to trip over sandbags but over words and thoughts.

Gov. DeSantis just doesn't want to celebrate. Neither does President Trump. That shows a bit of class in presidential candidates. As an American citizen who really hated seeing the 2020 and 2022 elections heavily affected by cheating, I'm not too bothered by the Resident making himself into a slapstick physical clown and risking lying at length on his face whenever he starts his stupid "Watch me jog a few steps and see what a vigorous man I am!" routine. He never was a real man. Not in '73. Not now. Not ever. He's a fake. And he's a demented crook and quisling to boot. If he trips and breaks something essential and has to leave office, I have better people to grieve over. Despite being cheated into power, he's really a nobody. He sucks. He never should have been in that office in the first place, and the people who put him there should be punished.

With his latest big win secured, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is moving into rare space. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich just declared, “Speaker McCarthy has already begun an historic speakership.” Today, Rasmussen Reports put McCarthy on the throne of public approval. He now has a 50% favorable rating, higher than former Speaker Nancy Pelosi reached in her second stint in the top job, according to a YouGov polling timeline for her. And many have declared her one of the greatest House speakers. McCarthy, who had to fight through over a dozen ballots to win the top House job, has reached his new high on the success of

The official U.S. Navy Instagram and Twitter accounts have seemingly removed posts that celebrated the commencement of “Pride Month.” On Thursday, the first day of June “Pride Month,” the Navy’s social media accounts featured a graphic displaying military vessels and a fighter jet leaving a trail behind in the rainbow colors of the LGBTQ flag, but by Friday morning, the image had disappeared. This action is part of the Pentagon’s recent efforts to steer clear of cultural controversies, as top Defense officials recently moved to prohibit drag performances on all military installations. This week, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley intervened

BLUFFTON, S.C. — Just one week after announcing his run for president, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis kicked off his South Carolina campaign trail Friday in Beaufort County. Hundreds of people, and a handful of protesters, showed up to Okatie Ale House in Bluffton, ready to greet the latest Republican candidate to join the 2024 race. “I’m still undecided. There are a lot of good people running on the Republican field, I think you probably get a better feel for the person in person,” said Sun City resident Faye Shullz. During his hourlong speech, the Florida governor tackled

Florida governor and 2024 presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis (R) shouted down a protester who interrupted his speech during a campaign stop in South Carolina Friday. “Unfortunately, there’s bad stuff that’s getting into the schools. There’s pornography that’s getting into schools. So the parents have had to blow the whistle in Florida,” he said during the speech in Lexington as a protester began to interrupt, talking back to the governor. “They’ve had to, they’ve had t0 — yeah. Well, thank you. Thank you,” DeSantis said as the crowd booed the protester. DeSantis then looked in the protester’s direction and spoke to the individual directly.

DES MOINES, Iowa — Former President Donald Trump returned to Iowa this week for a campaign swing focused on rallying his base. Thursday included a series of grassroots-style stops where the former president shook hands, took questions from the crowd and engaged in the retail politics Iowa is known for. During a campaign event in Grimes, Trump told KCCI Chief Political Reporter Amanda Rooker he has "total support" from Iowa faith leaders. The former president met with dozens of local pastors for a private lunch Thursday afternoon. "They were very thankful for what I've done with Roe v. Wade, obviously, and give me total support. Last week I noticed a tweet that caught my attention because it announced the support of a wealthy Texan for Ron DeSantis. It said that Joe Lonsdale, a venture capitalist & one of the founders of Palantir, is endorsing DeSantis. He has “tons of connections across tech + politics.” DeSantis is coming to Texas next week for a three-day fundraising trip, his first since declaring his candidacy. He will do well. Nikki Haley is also coming to Texas next week for the same reason. Some of Texas’ biggest Republican donors are getting behind Ron DeSantis as he plans his first fundraising trip to Texas as a presidential candidate.

In his remarks, Biden said the agreement amounted to proof that the type of bipartisanship he promised as a candidate to seek was not only still possible but essential to avoiding disaster. He told Americans the package ensures economic progress going forward and amounts to a “crisis averted.”

The survey asked respondents if they approve or disapprove of legislation making it illegal to perform sex-change surgeries on minors. Overall, 62 percent at least somewhat approve of those laws, and of those, 46 percent “strongly” approve. Another 30 percent at least somewhat disapprove, but that figure is even higher among Democrats, specifically, as 35 percent at least somewhat disapprove of laws preventing children from mutilating their bodies in the name of “gender-affirmation.”
