Federal investigators have in their possession an audio recording of former President Donald Trump from July 2021, on which he acknowledges he held onto a sensitive military document after leaving office, sources confirm to ABC News.
The recording was made during a meeting at Trump's Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club, that Trump held with people who were helping former chief of staff Mark Meadows with his memoir, according to sources. Trump indicated during the recording that he knew the document in question was secret, the sources said.

So?
Every other president leaving office takes classified docs with him
He is allowed to do that
Then they work with Archives to get them sorted and figure out what goes to his presidential library and which do not

If this is true (and that's a Big IF...)
So WHAT ????
The President (there have been 45 (46 is faux) has the authority to de-classify any 'secret' document. He/She doesn't have a higher authority to ask permission. He/She doesn't have to tell anyone or any department what document has been de-classified.
The 'establishment' is attempting to make something out of nothing (tantamount to throwing a dirty diaper against a wall to see how much they can make stick).

So what! Every president has sensitive documents. What the hell do you think is in every presidential library? How many sensitive documents does Obozo have? Biteme had so many sensitive documents he had them in his garage and about a half dozen other locations. At least Trump had the documents in an approved secure location.

In the meantime, don't be looking for any evidence that Old Slow Joe funneled $5 million (at least) through his family's shell companies to line his pockets. Don't ask for an accounting of where all those billions of dollars are that were supposedly sent to Zelensky and Ukraine. Don't start poking into Hunter's laptop or his criminal activities, or his moral failings that have likely exposed his family to blackmail (or worse).
No! Look over here! It's a squirrel...! A *shiny* squirrel...!! Oooooo, shiny!! Trump! Trump!

While not exactly the same thing, Biden had truckloads of stuff he should have never had just sitting in his garage.

Obama shipped 33 MILLION documents, in something like 18 semi-trucks to a closed furniture store outside of Chicago. Clinton and GW Bush did similar. Who cared about that?
Trump was the President and protected by Article II of the Constitution. The documents were in a private home under lock and key and both private security and Secret Service protection.
Biden had boxes and boxes in multiple, unsecured locations. He wasn't allowed, by law, to possess ANY documents. Why is this idiot untouchable?

At least the documents were in a secured locked room, surrounded by secret service and other security measures. Approved security by the SS! Unlike Biden’s in a garage, and In an office where Chinese had access to them. Oh. And hussien has documents stored in a storefront I. Chicago waiting to be archived for his presidential library. Yeah right. So secure

'sensitive' does NOT have any sort of a meaning in the context of classified documents.

Since he was the president, so what?
They just refuse to admit that a president can declassify simply by his actions. (See Jimmy Carter, stealth bomber). They just can't stand it. Also see Clinton decision, this century.

I can guaranty there are documents still marked TOP SECRET EYES ONLY in existence when the information contained therein has been in the public domain for a decade or longer. It is easy to classify something but difficult to declassify. The history of my dad's WWII ETO battalion was Secret and not declassified until 1989 at his request just so he could get a copy. It took nearly a year

There are two sides to these "stories" and the original "leaks" tend to leave out key information that pretty much makes them bold faced lies.

He was PRESIDENT lefties, get that through your thick skulls. Meanwhile, Obama took 10's of thousands of them for his library in Chicago, and Biden has never ever had the authority to have any in his possession. He was stealing them while a senator, and really went to town while VP. Neither position legally allowed him to stash those docs in his various homes and garages for Hunter to view and sell.
