The Federal Bureau of Investigation failed to turn over a document subpoenaed by House Republicans that allegedly details a bribery scheme from then-Vice President Joe Biden. The agency refused to provide the document Monday in a private meeting with the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. The unclassified FD-1023 document details criminal allegations of a pay-to-play scheme related to the Biden family's business dealings, according to a whistleblower at the agency who spoke with Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.

Fire them all, cancel their retirement money and jail them, like the demmunists would do if Nasty P was still in charge.

The FBI, formed to fight criminals, has become a criminal organization itself.
But who will investigate the investigators? And who will prosecute the criminals when the prosecutors are corrupt?

The FBI is openly thumbing their noses at the American people and daring them to do something. I hope people are paying attention.

The very end of the story says that the FBI claims that the document is unverified so they do not want to provide it. Since when does the FBI care if a document is verified? It didn't seem to be a problem when it involved Donald Trump.

Don't be surprised when it turns out that the subpoenaed document "can't be found," or "has, regrettably, been inadvertently destroyed," etc.

Let's see, the FBI works for the DOJ and the DOJ operates under the Executive, so just who has any controlling legal authority to investigate any of them?
What "power of the purse"? Sure, try to un-bundle that funding from the Omnibus (which is why they've been passing them since the final years of GWB's presidency.
Everyone gets what they want, they can juice the spending with "emergencies" and no one has to take a tough vote. It's how Harry Reid drew up the strategy.

The FBI is corrupt but so is it’s boss, Merrick Garland, and his boss, Joe Biden. Lawlessness goes right up the food chain. There are no checks and balances between the branches of government anymore and that’s just the way democrats like it. They have the power and do not intend to ever relinquish it. They know if they do, the jig is up. We are living in a soft dictatorship that will harden quickly after 2024. Right now we are playing a role in the Kabuki Theater which runs 24/7 in Washington. Soon democrats will have consolidated enough power to stop the pretense. Then it will get very ugly.

Okay...if the FBI won't comply with the subpoena ...then freeze their funds and make them walk instead of riding in limos around DC...and ground their jets so they have to endure buttigieg's transportation nightmare....sounds like a plan to me....

De-fund them. The house has the power to do so. Then impeach them when they do not have any money to fight court battles.
Time to take off the gloves.
