Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., and others including Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., blasted "The View" co-host Joy Behar on Tuesday after she claimed Scott "doesn't get" racism while comparing him to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. "He’s one of these guys, like Clarence Thomas, Black Republican, who believes in pulling yourself up by your bootstraps, rather than understanding the systemic racism that African Americans face in this country and other minorities. He doesn’t get it. Neither does Clarence. That’s why they’re Republicans," she said Tuesday during "The View."

Comments:

They don’t get it, but she — the privileged, white. Queen of the Karens — does get it? 😂🤣😂🤣😂

One of the issues that Tim Scott has is that he seems to think, ‘Because I made it, everyone can make it.’ Ignoring, again, the fact that he’s the exception and not the rule. And until he’s the rule, then he can stop talking about systemic racism," Hostin said. The ONLY successful Black people are TRULY exceptional, talented tenth or Elite 1%'rs! (Not those messy, smelly 'normal' black folks, incapable, sub human, needful, weaklings, left behind in/by normal society... sounds racist and elitist, don't it?) Goldberg said he had "Clarence Thomas syndrome." IE: YEP! I AM Exceptional, better than those millions of skinfolk, I have achieved Fame/Fortune because I AM Better, smarter, wiser, more talented...(and married to an even more successful white guy)...than those hoi polloi losers, deserving only of pity, and subsidy.

I'm a Christian Conservative who's Black and I just love when an old rich White leftist democrat hags like Joy Behar tell ME that I don't get what racism is and being Black in America. She is of course wrong again and flat out stupid but that hasn't stopped her and others who feel that Blacks should only be democrats. What's worse is the Behag was smirking while she denigrated Senator Scott and Justice Thomas. She's the one who doesn't get it and never will.

US: Biden hails 'productive' debt talks

US President Joe Biden said on Thursday that a US debt default would be avoided, hailing "productive" talks with Republican Speaker Kevin McCarthy ahead of a looming deadline to agree on more borrowing. Biden's statements to reporters on Thursday came a week before an estimated June 1 deadline at which point the Treasury Department and Federal Reserve say they would be unlikely to continue covering for the nominal inability to borrow in other ways, as they have in the first months of the year during the standoff.

CNN delivered "horrible news" for President Biden as the network's latest polling offered a grim forecast ahead of his 2024 reelection bid. The poll released Thursday show a whopping 66% of Americans view a Biden victory in the upcoming presidential election as either a "disaster" or a "setback" for the United States. "Horrible news, horrible for Joe Biden," CNN anchor Jake Tapper reacted to the poll. "Those are some bad numbers," he later added. CNN political director David Challian provided analysis of the poll that showed 41% of Americans specifically called a Biden win a "disaster," a slightly

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador again waded into the U.S. political situation on Thursday when he urged Hispanics not to vote for newly-declared presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — the latest example of the Mexican president meddling in U.S. elections against Republicans. Lopez Obrador spoke at a press conference a day after DeSantis declared his candidacy for the Republican nomination for president in 2024. DeSantis has taken a hard stance against illegal immigration, and has called for greater security at the border — including shutting down the border with Mexico.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., slammed the Supreme Court's ruling Thursday that limited the Environmental Protection Agency's ability to regulate bodies of water, calling it a "MAGA" court even though the decision was 9-0. On Thursday, the high court issued an opinion that narrowed the EPA's broad definition of Waters of the United States (WOTUS). The court said the federal government must define WOTUS as a water source with a "continuous surface connection" to major bodies of water. The decision upended an attempt by the Biden administration to regulate wetlands, lakes, ponds, streams and other "relatively permanent" waterways, which had relied on a broad reading of the EPA's authority

The Biden administration is doling out taxpayer money through an anti-terrorism grant initiative to a university program that has explicitly lumped the Republican Party, as well as Christian and conservative groups, into the same category as Nazis, according to documents shared exclusively with Fox News Digital. The Media Research Center, a conservative watchdog group, obtained documents through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests showing a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) program meant to fight terrorism is funding a group whose work has explicitly targeted the American political right. The MRC outlined its findings in a report, arguing what the group found warrants criminal prosecution.

The current reports of executive branch illegality make Watergate look like kindergarten mischief. It is clear from the Durham report and the work of House Republican hearings that the current scandals in the Biden White House – and senior bureaucracies at the Justice Department, IRS, and elsewhere – are much deeper and more cancerous than Watergate ever was. It may be hard to remember, but Watergate came about due to a weird, dumb, and fairly narrow set of criminal behaviors which mushroomed into 69 officials being indicted and 48 imprisoned. I remember Watergate vividly, because I first ran for Congress in 1974 during the Watergate scandal.

To be clear, I am writing this as a pollster, not as a politician or partisan. Here’s the bottom line. As it gets closer to the summer of 2023, I would rate the Democrats as more likely to again take/keep the White House. They might even hold on to the Senate and re-take the House. This is a tough message to deliver to the Republican faithful at a time when inflation is way up, millions have crossed the border illegally, China and Russia both pose true threats to international stability, and crime has spiraled in many areas of the nation. Sure, events and issues would seemingly favor the 2024 Republican nominee for president.

Pressed to clarify his position, Sanders composed himself and offered only that he supports “equality of opportunity” over equal outcomes. He does? If this answer is sincere, it would put Sanders, a self-described democratic socialist, substantially to the right of the “equity”-obsessed Biden administration and today’s public education establishment. If, on the other hand, Sanders was merely being politically adroit, his answer demonstrates
