WASHINGTON — The Pentagon has overestimated the value of the weapons it has sent to Ukraine by at least $3 billion — an accounting error that could be a boon for the war effort because it will allow the Defense Department to send more weapons now without asking Congress for more money. The acknowledgment Thursday comes at a time when Pentagon is under increased pressure by Congress to show accountability for the billions of dollars it has sent in weapons, ammunition and equipment to Ukraine and as some lawmakers question whether that level of support should continue. FTA: 'The error was caused when officials overvalued some of the systems sent to Ukraine, using the value of money it would cost to replace an item completely rather than the current value of the weapon.' Of course, that devious sleight-of-hand only makes sense IF there is no intention of replacing them. IOW, trading our security for Ukraine's.

The liars at the Pentagon now using scam accounting. Replacing objective cost, verifiable with an invoice, with fair market value and replacement costing, both numbers imagined by the Pentagon accountants to get the numbers the Biden administration wants. The only time the government admits an "error" is when it involves prior numbers they do not want. Other euphemisms used are mistake, oversight, all described as unintentional. The rot goes top to bottom.

A 3 billion dollar accounting error? When I make a 3 dollar error in my IRS return I get audited. The Ukraine is immensely important to the Biden Crime Syndicate. It is not important to me. My wallet is.

Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., blasted Democratic Senator John Fetterman's "unbecoming" decision to attend a Senate press conference while wearing a hoodie and shorts. "John Fetterman redefined Casual Friday on a Thursday morning," Boebert wrote on Twitter. "It’s truly unbecoming for someone to show up like that to any job, let alone a job that only 100 people are elected to do." The Pennsylvania senator attended a Thursday news conference to discuss debt limit negotiations wearing a white hoodie, gray workout shorts, and running shoes, while standing alongside four fellow Democratic Senators who all were dressed in a suit and tie.

The encephalitis resolved itself, but she continues to deal with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, the statement said. She returned to Washington on 10 May after nearly three months of absence. Target (TGT) has become a target for major thefts, and it's taking a huge chunk out of profits. The retailer estimated in its earnings release Wednesday that inventory shrinkage — mostly the theft of merchandise — would clip profits by a whopping $500 million this year. Factoring in an about $700 million profit hit from inventory shrinkage in 2022, Target is on pace to see $1.2 billion in profits go up in smoke, due primarily to organized retail crime. Target Chairman and CEO Brian Cornell says the problem is getting worse, is nationwide, and across various merchandise departments. "The unfortunate

First, it’s been my experience that many—if not most—casual poll watchers tend to pay selective attention to polls, not unlike Fox News or CNN viewers who watch various on-air personalities to be told what they want to hear. Second, we’ve seen candidates laud the results of a particular poll when its results favor them, then turn around and call the exact same polls “fake” when they don’t like the poll’s latest results. Third, while pre-primary polls conducted among likely voters of a single party might be lauded by various candidates and their followers, polls conducted among
