‘We Were Blindsided’: Female Wyoming
Students Break Silence after Suing Sorority

Female University of Wyoming students who recently sued their sorority for inducting a male student are speaking out about the case for the first time, telling National Review that they were “blindsided” by the decision, which has stoked bitter division within the once tight-knit sisterhood. Seven plaintiffs, all members of Wyoming’s Kappa Kappa Gamma chapter, petitioned the court in March to order KKG to nullify the transgender-identifying man’s admission and abandon its unauthorized gender-inclusion policy. Their claim alleges that KKG national headquarters breached its contract to provide a single-sex experience to its members

Big Bidet and company are upending civilization. I saw a headline today that soros hates civilization. One sorority at a time. When I was in college in the 70s the freaks hated fraternities and sororities. Their powers are becoming exalted.

Maybe all the soroity sisters should move out and let the national sorority run the house for their beloved new member. Used to be in my day, the only way a guy got into a soroity house was through the window. Now they can walk in the front door and move in.

Unfortunately, they signed a one-year residence contract to live in the sorority house. With the end of the school year approaching, I'd probably quit the sorority, move out and eat the loss, never to return.

#11...tell me you didn't read the article by not saying you didn't read the article. The members did NOT vote to admit him. The plaintiffs are suing in part because the President of their sorority made a unilateral decision without changing the bylaws which require a vote from the members by 2/3. The plaintiffs were mislead about the possibility of his being admitted and signed a year long commitment to live in the sorority house before being told he would be admitted. Hopefully, the ladies suing win.

#12 None of what you asserted (e.g., the 2/3) is in this article. Instead, it says the affirmative vote was not anonymous, so the sisters felt pressured to vote for him because they didn't want to be accused of being non-woke.

Unanimous SCOTUS shields Google, Twitter

Do Internet platforms need Section 230 to shield them from liability? Should it be taken down as social-media platforms increasingly apply editorial control over content, arguably transforming them from platforms to publishers? Don’t expect explicit answers from two decisions handed down by the Supreme Court today, both unanimously rejecting liability claims without the use of Section 230 protections. However, that may be its own answer. Both Google and Twitter had reason to sigh with relief, although as it turns out the two cases turned out to be anything but divisive:

Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz reportedly had “privileged access” to Twitter prior to Elon Musk’s purchase of the social media site, according to an independent journalist. Lorenz was described as a “heavy user” of the site’s reporting system by a company engineer, journalist Paul Thacker tweeted on Thursday in a new installment of “The Twitter Files,” going on to note how she decried Elon Musk’s decision to grant a general amnesty to banned accounts in November. Lorenz has been accused of doxxing accounts, notably LibsOfTikTok, which is popular among conservatives, and worked with her sources to pierce the anonymity of some accounts, Thacker reported.

"And I think what's the most important thing for me is that we have a candidate who can actually win. "I don't think President Trump understands that when you run in a general election, you have to appeal to voters beyond your base."

The ruling is beneficial to people who own copyrighted content upon which other works are based, and could have a negative impact upon entities that make new works based on existing material.
