Although the New York City of today looks much like that of 1984, our time traveler would have a hard time understanding the people, almost as hard a time as H.G. Wells's "Time Traveler" did when his machine arrived in the year 802,701.

(Snip) Biden press secretary Karine Saint-Pierre did not name or condemn Audrey Hale, a woman who thought she was a man. The White House mouthpiece also failed to name a single victim, including Mike Hill, who was black. No word from Saint-Pierre whether Hale could have been motivated by racism.
The Nashville mourners might be hard pressed to find a similar demonstration of indulgence for terrorism and callousness toward their victims. Something similar took place on December 2, 2015, in San Bernardino, California.

We may hold certain rights to be "self-evident," but that is simply a comforting fiction derived from the American Revolution. In 2014, I published an essay listing ten reasons I am no longer a leftist. Something happened last Monday that hurt my feelings a lot and reminded me of another reason: I’m poor. This is counterintuitive. The Left depicts itself as the champion of the poor; the Left depicts right-wingers as hating the poor. Backstage, behind all the speechifying about “compassion,” a very specific left-wing attitude to the poor is abhorrent to me. I encountered that attitude last Monday. I felt disgust, rage, and sorrow.

James Comer and other Republicans in both the House and Senate are currently in the midst of an investigation into an alleged bribery scheme involving the Biden family. Specifically, the FBI is in possession of a 1023 form that includes supposed evidence and witness testimony to that effect.
But while the FBI has not denied that they have the form, they have attempted to stonewall, claiming confidentiality concerns. Now, another roadblock has appeared. According to Comer, some witnesses have gone missing while others are in jail, and the FBI is refusing to assist in locating them.

You can have all the facts on your side and still lose an argument. How? Because the other side is not bound by facts, they’re arguing emotion, and emotion always overrides facts. It sounds stupid, it is stupid, but it’s also true. Think about the things you’ve apologized for in your life – I’d give you odds it was for things you said in the heat of the moment, not after thinking about the situation in a cool, rational way. That emotion factor is a big part of why Republicans always seem to get rolled when it comes to policy debates, but it’s not the only reason.

I am thankful to the author for making the situation clear. It drives me crazy when supposedly smart conservatives journalists and commentators act as if Biden is doing anything himself. He is obviously a senile facade for the Obama left, and their goal is the utter destruction of the U.S.through politics, the media, and the culture, to put a dictatorship in place. I don't know if these conservatives are stupid or captured, but either way they are pretty useless.
