Title 42 is finally coming to an end on Thursday, May 11 and there are at least 10,000 migrants waiting in Mexico to immediately cross the U.S. southern border once the policy is no longer in use. The public health measure was employed in March 2020 by then-President Donald Trump as a way to quell migration over the southern border at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. While many saw it as a way to keep COVID-19 from spreading by way of illegal immigration and a way to address the spikes of migrant crossings, immigrant advocates felt it was inhumane for those seeking asylum in the U.S.

I hope the good men and women of the BP throw up their hands and walk off in utter disgust. We keep trying to make this disaster run smoothly when it needs to be eliminated.

Send them all to California. They can all identify as AA and claim reparations. What a wonderful country!

"At least 10,000 migrants" waiting to cross the border?? In other publications we're hearing about 700,000 to perhaps a million illegals poised to storm our porous border starting next Thursday, and in the days, weeks, and months following. We're looking at a true calamity, one that will only add to the massive wreckage that the leftists have orchestrated, to destroy our national government. The end of America as we have known it isn't far off.

The border patrol should simply sit on their hands and do nothing but draw a paycheck. Let Mayorkas deal with it.

Biden is willfully failing to execute the laws in this country; a clearly impeachable offense. Why won't a single GOP Congresspuke say anything about it? This is NOT U.S. immigration policy!

President Joe Biden’s border chief says he can’t explain why hundreds of thousands of migrants are rushing over the border he is tasked to guard. “Can you explain why you’ve seen this big surge [of migrants] in the last couple of weeks?” border chief Alejandro Mayorkas was asked on Friday, just six days before he lifts the Title 42 border barrier.“It’s very difficult to identify the cause,” the pro-migration border chief responded to the reporter. However, a Venezuelan migrant named Daniel told the May 7 New York Times why he and many other Venezuelans are sneaking into the United States: “We just want to work.”

Two weeks ago, President Joe Biden announced that he is running for reelection in 2024, promising to “finish the job”. What exactly does he want to finish, other than American exceptionalism as we know it? America is rapidly imploding on many fronts – financial and economic, cultural, safety, and our place in the world. Does finishing the job mean erasing every achievement of former President Donald Trump? Or is he completing former President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign promise, "We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America"?

At the ripe old age of 99, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger is opening up about fellow older folks running for president. Veteran journalist Ted Koppel, who interviewed Kissinger for CBS News, said Kissinger is “skeptical” about anyone of an advanced age as commander in chief.“It takes a certain capacity, physically,” Kissinger said in remarks published on Sunday. “There’s some advantages in maturity. There are dangers in exhaustion, and a limited capacity to work.”

Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) responded to calls for more gun control following Saturday’s Allen, Texas, outlet mall attack by noting that blue states with stringent gun control have “mass shootings” as well. FOX News reported Cuellar urging people to get past calling for more laws and restrictions, focusing instead on the “root problem.” He said, “If people talk about just… making the law stricter. You got to look at, you know, in states that are blue, very strict laws, you still get this type of mass shootings. So it does happen across the nation, and we have to get to the bottom of this.”

A Denver city councilwoman facing a runoff election in June said white-owned businesses should pay reparations for the sins of slavery. During a business forum, Candi CdeBaca — a Democrat socialist — said the race-based tax could be levied by the business improvement districts, as first reported by 9News. A business improvement district is managed by local business owners, residents, and local government officials and can levy incremental tax increases which are then redistributed in a specific geographic region, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation.

King Charles took to his feet to dance alongside the Queen at the Coronation concert as they got carried away with their family to the music of Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and a spectacular Take That finale. Prince George and Princess Charlotte led the royals in a singalong during the final performance from the British boy band at Windsor Castle. Charles III and his wife Camilla also laughed uproariously at Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog, who even appeared in the royal box with them before the stage and Windsor Castle were turned a patriotic red, white and blue.

Additionally, a large number of Americans think that Trump, 76, is more physically fit and mentally sharp to serve another term over those who feel the same way about Biden. At 80-years-old, Biden is already the oldest-ever elected president in U.S. history – and would be 82 on his second inauguration if reelected in 2024.

There was a lot of discourse around President Joe Biden turning down King Charles III’s invitation to the coronation. Even though a U.S. president has never attended a coronation, some critics felt like this was a snub against the royal family. First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and her granddaughter, Finnegan, went instead, but now, Twitter is calling foul on their less-than-ideal seating placement. Users of the social media platform are frustrated that coronation organizers wanted world leaders there, but when they got the first lady instead, they feel like King Charles didn’t treat her with the respect she deserves. And boy, did they have some thoughts.

My friend and colleague, Dr. Maryanne Demasi has been studying the use of statins for years. She just had her meta analysis published in "JAMA Internal Medicine." This is an extremely important paper.(snip)The public health mantra about cholesterol has always been “the lower, the better.” This has been reflected in expert guidelines which have called on doctors to aggressively lower their patient’s ‘bad’ LDL-cholesterol (LDL-C) with statin drugs to prevent heart disease. However, our new analysis published in JAMA Internal Medicine (paywalled) challenges that notion. Over the years, influential researchers such as the Cholesterol Treatment Trialists (CTT) at Oxford University, have monopolised the scientific debate on statins. But there are three problems with the various CTT analyses:
