The Supreme Court is about to begin issuing decisions every Monday until the summer after hearing arguments in several high-profile and hot-topic matters. Here is a digest of six of the most highly-anticipated opinions from the high court this summer: BIDEN'S STUDENT LOAN HANDOUT: Biden v. Nebraska and Department of Education v. Brown Well after he declared the COVID-19 pandemic "over," Biden's administration fought to keep one pandemic response in place — the student loan relief program that would cancel hundreds of billions of dollars in borrower debt.

The joke's on Joe. Most Americans are smart enough to realize that the student loan debt will not be canceled or forgiven, it will be dumped, as usual, on the working taxpayer. Bad news for diapers this close to an election.

There will be some mighty upset people...not just that they will once again start making payments, but also that their credit score will plummet. Currently Student Loan debt is not calculated in scores. (mine went to 795) When my sons parent's Plus loan, which had been in default shows back up on MY credit report It will drop a dozen points or more, maybe MUCH more. It will basically double my debt/borrowing power numbers. I was just online searching for "Best rates/no fee" for more cards to offset that by getting a bit more borrowing power. I need a high score to get a decent rate on a loan to build a second house on the back half of our lot. Current house/lot is paid off. Not sure how to structure it yet as Biden's "Haircut" mortgage tax for high score/high down borrowers might effect equity mortgages, and even construction loans.

Even Roberts doesn't like AA so Harvard gonna lose as will Joey on the loans. I predict 9-0 for Tyler & 6-3 for Lorie Smith.

Ask a college student where they went for Spring Break. We haven't gone on a 'Spring Break' because we can't afford to. We're too busy paying off their debt.

Yes, student loans are the most stringent debt because you are putting up future employment/career as collateral. Many of the know it all kids are too stupid to realize that, but their dopey parents should have had a clue. By parents, I mean single moms for many. Yeah, the colleges sweet talked them into thinking 4 years is forever, but we all pay for our stupidity so get to work kids. Meanwhile Andy Warhol was a lazy thief who ripped off the photographer in the case. His estate should pay a massive settlement. It matters to corporations who own things like Batman and to artists whose work made Midjourney A.I. possible. If the court boots this one, the chinese pirates win again since those scum have been stealing and profiting from intellectual copyright theft for decades.

Over its almost 200 years of existence, Oberlin College has faced a civil war, an economic depression and pandemics. But until this year, it had never faced the likes of Kalinda Watson. Student editors on The Oberlin Review have risen up against the addition of Watson to the college ranks as an existential threat. No, Watson is not a conservative or a Republican — groups that haven’t been welcome on campus for many years. Oberlin is ranked in the top three most liberal colleges in the country, and finding a conservative professor is about as likely as finding a licensed, practicing wizard. No, Watson is far, far worse. She

President Biden launched his reelection campaign recently with an unconventional video that looked like it was produced by former “West Wing” producer Aaron Sorkin. The video shows an invigorated Biden shaking hands and embracing Americans from across the ethnic and racial spectrum. It also features plenty of his otherwise largely invisible vice president, Kamala Harris, who doesn’t speak during the video but sure appears to love working with the president. Despite the campaign relaunch, there hasn’t yet been much in the way of traditional campaigning. Much like 2020, Biden has preferred to lay low and away from the stump while mostly avoiding the press.

President Biden is all in for another four-year term as commander in chief. While Mr. Biden has his reasons for seeking a second term, Americans have their grounds for wanting him out. When weighing both positions, it is clear that Biden 2.0 would put freedom to flight. Mr. Biden launched his opening second-term campaign pitch by video last Tuesday with dark images of the U.S. Capitol riot of Jan. 6, 2021, which ushered in his divisive rule: “The question we are facing is whether in the years ahead we have more freedom or less freedom,” he intoned.

Broadly speaking, Americans are divided into three groups over charges that Joe Biden participated in his family’s corrupt influence-peddling schemes. First are those who, like me, are convinced the “big guy” secretly got his share of the foreign millions paid to his son and brothers over many years. Second, are those who are undecided because they haven’t heard of the charges or don’t know enough about them. The third group refuses to consider the charges because they are serious enough to send Biden packing and elect a Republican, possibly the dreaded Donald Trump. This third group comprises hardcore Democrats and the mainstream media, which are often indistinguishable.

The California Reparations Task Force formally recommended that the state offer payments of up to $1.2 million to every qualifying Black resident. The task force held a public meeting in Oakland, California, on Saturday and voted on the final set of recommendations to be sent to the state's legislators. The nine-member panel called on the state to offer its Black residents a formal apology in addition to the payments. "Reparations are not only morally justifiable, but they have the potential to address long-standing racial disparities and inequalities," Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif., said after attending the meeting.

President Biden is setting the stage for pardoning his son Hunter as his Department of Justice weighs a potential indictment stemming from a years-long federal investigation, Fox News contributor Miranda Devine warned. Devine's comments come after Biden finally addressed the possibility of his son facing charges during a rare sit-down interview where he dismissed the chance that it would have any impact on his tenure in office. "That mythology of Joe Biden that's been around for more than four decades, which is that he's a lovely family man… moderate Democrat, lunch pail Joe, working class Joe, the poorest man in Congress, and a wonderful family man full of empathy

An Arizona School District settled a religious discrimination case Thursday two months after it was accused of illegally terminating a contract while its members blasted the Christian "Jesus" values of a university. The Washington Elementary School District was sued in March for allegedly impugning on the religious rights of Arizona Christian University for terminating a partnership that had been ongoing for 11 years after multiple board members attacked them for their religious beliefs. On Wednesday evening, the board restored a contract with the university. A settlement agreement also likely will include that the district will be responsible for thousands in legal fees.

It’s the biggest con ever perpetuated by the national media. For all of their hysterics over “disinformation” and “collusion,” we know now that they were indisputably the most guilty of both. Recent reports show how the Washington ruling class, including career intelligence officials, the media and Big Tech, plotted well in advance to suppress and discredit the fully authentic and legitimate Hunter Biden laptop story, solely for the purpose of influencing the 2020 election. The greatest offense was on behalf of the news media, the constitutionally protected institution charged with holding the powerful to account. In 2020, they abandoned that mission to do the complete opposite.

Queen Elizabeth II publicly signaled that she regretted that her grandson Prince Harry met his wife, Meghan Markle — calling her “evil” and their courtship a “complete catastrophe,” according to an explosive report. The longest-serving monarch “saw through Meghan Markle” and made the uncharacteristic remarks at a reception in Balmoral in August, weeks before her death, a source close to the royals told the Spectator. “At the drinks before the dinner, a small group were talking to the monarch and she explained that Harry meeting Meghan had become a complete catastrophe and described her as evil,” the source claimed. “Everybody’s eyebrows hit the ceiling,” the source recalled.

Two weeks ago, President Joe Biden announced that he is running for reelection in 2024, promising to “finish the job”. What exactly does he want to finish, other than American exceptionalism as we know it? America is rapidly imploding on many fronts – financial and economic, cultural, safety, and our place in the world. Does finishing the job mean erasing every achievement of former President Donald Trump? Or is he completing former President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign promise, "We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America"?

In the span of a few weeks, the Biden administration has proposed regulations that would effectively ban gas stoves, force a massive shift to electric cars, sharply raise the cost of dishwashers, increase loan costs for frugal borrowers, regulate puddles as “navigable waters,” and limit hunting and fishing across the country. It will soon release a proposed rule targeting power plants with hugely expensive carbon capture mandates. This is just the tip of the spear. As the Competitive Enterprise Institute’s Clyde Wayne Crews put it recently, “President Biden is leading an unprecedented expansion of the administrative state.

My friend and colleague, Dr. Maryanne Demasi has been studying the use of statins for years. She just had her meta analysis published in "JAMA Internal Medicine." This is an extremely important paper.(snip)The public health mantra about cholesterol has always been “the lower, the better.” This has been reflected in expert guidelines which have called on doctors to aggressively lower their patient’s ‘bad’ LDL-cholesterol (LDL-C) with statin drugs to prevent heart disease. However, our new analysis published in JAMA Internal Medicine (paywalled) challenges that notion. Over the years, influential researchers such as the Cholesterol Treatment Trialists (CTT) at Oxford University, have monopolised the scientific debate on statins. But there are three problems with the various CTT analyses:
