As a Digitized Iron Curtain Descends,
Spiritual Faith Rises

Two trend lines extend into the future. One tracks government's increased oppression, surveillance, and social control. The other tracks people's rising spiritual faith, desire for personal freedom, and determination that government should leave them alone. This is our reality. It also exposes the chink in totalitarianism's armor. The greater the government's coercion, the more convinced a growing share of the population becomes that illegitimate government must go. The same tug of war has played out time and again. With the luxury of hindsight, there is a clear trigger point when governing authorities cross a line into such unacceptable tyranny that their eventual fall becomes certain.

It's hard for the average citizen to see an effective way to dismantle the increasingly restrictive net being woven over and around us. In the end the public may well decide to employ the most powerful political weapon in existence: the general strike. That means that everyone simply lays down his or her tools and refuses to work. No manufacturing, no open businesses, no transportation, no buying and selling, nothing taxable happening, etc.---until the powers that be decide to restore basic freedoms. No government can survive a general strike. Our nation's high and mighty liberal, anti-Constitutional fastnesses will topple, and the rule of Constitutional law will prevail. It looks like it's coming to that. Pray for it.

#1, I don't think the average citizen is prepared to do any such thing. Most of them are only vaguely aware that the pain and frustration they are feeling actually has a planned origin within the elite and institutions they count on to solve their problems. Without clarity of message and unity of resolve, such actions would be alien to the average person in modern society. This is especially true when the citizenry have been so totally Balkanized by divisive Leftist propaganda and decades of morally void corporate and political messaging. Who wants to be the first, and perhaps only, to walk away from a paycheck and risk discipline, extended unemployment, or possible authoritarian backlash on principle? No, I think it is more likely that it will take a few "foolishly" fed-up firebrands to escalate the situation, against the fear that the hammer will come down hard on them and end the false civil "detente" we are living in. That feels like what the current Administrative and bureaucratic forces are trying to generate by their various absurdities, so they can react will vicious finality. My greatest fear is not that it will take some rash actions to begin to turn things around, but rather that, the longer it takes to happen, the more violent and destructive it is likely to be.

What I find ironic about this situation is that Putin has made friends with the Russian Orthodox church leaders. He gets that you keep the church on your side, not attack it like our Swamp is doing.

In October of 2020 – just days before the presidential election – 51 former intelligence officials signed and published a letter that baselessly decried the contents of Hunter’s ‘laptop from hell’ had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” This was a lie. They all knew it was a lie. Former CIA Director John Brennan and former DNI James Clapper will now be forced to testify before the House Weaponization subcommittee about the statement they signed in 2020 discrediting the Hunter Biden laptop as Russian propaganda.

Vice Media is close to finalizing a deal with senior lenders, including Fortress Investment Group and Soros Fund Management, to purchase the struggling media company out of bankruptcy for a valuation of approximately $400 million. According to the Wall Street Journal, nearly all of Vice’s stockholders, including supporters such as TPG Group, Sixth Street Partners, and media magnate James Murdoch, would be completely eliminated. The plan would also impair the outstanding debts owed to TPG and Sixth Street. Notably, the Murdoch family is a significant shareholder in News Corp, the parent company of The Wall Street Journal.

In the 21st century, a group of senators are hawking a bill they assert can cure the oh-so-many maladies caused by using the social media app, TikTok. Just like snake oil salesmen of the past, these Senators may talk a good game, but their antidote is far worse than any purported affliction. To address our nation’s hysteria over dance videos, more than twenty Senators, both Republican and Democrat, support the RESTRICT Act.

He promised to replace officials instructing tech companies to suspend users identified as problematic to national interests, end prosecutions of whistleblowers by the Department of Justice, and rescind policies that permit spying on American citizens.
