The Princess of Wales shone on Friday evening as she joined the King, foreign royals and global leaders for a glamourous reception at Buckingham Palace ahead of Charles' historic Coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey on Saturday - but royal fans were left wondering where Queen Camilla was after she missed the event, as well as an earlier walkabout on the Mall. Kate appeared relaxed and at ease as she shared jokes with guests, seeming to particularly hit it off with Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark before greeting the US First Lady Jill Biden.

Camilla was at rehearsal earlier in the day. she has a big day ahead of her tomorrow - she probably needed a nap and her hair done. she is allowed to gather her thoughts. she seems a very social gal, but not that experienced in being on center stage where she is part of the show.

Loved this LOL comment following the DM article: " I haven't seen a dress pattern as lovely as Jill's since I bought those tropical oven mitts at Aldi." Can't wait to see what eye-offending get-up she embarrasses us with tomorrow. Wonder if Finnegan is sleeping on a cot in granny's hotel room? Just like Hunter had to in daddy's room in Ireland! How did our beloved country destroy itself like this?

Jill did not disappoint me. She looks frumpy, cheap, and definitely not at all like a dignified First Lady of the United States. The picture of her wearing her ill-fitting, sloppy belted coat is embarrassing. Does she look at herself in the mirror before leaving her hotel room and think “wow, I look amazing”? Compare Jill to Melania. Makes me want to cry.

Given Camilla's osteo issues with her back, she is probably pacing herself over the next couple days. Also, I still believe she and Chuck know what they did, they know the public knows what they did, and they are trying to avoid dredging all that inconvenient history up. But I think there will be comparisons and folks wondering how Diana would have comported herself and so on.
