Newly unsealed files from the Department of Justice have thrust several high-profile figures back into the spotlight of Jeffrey Epstein’s sordid world. A redacted FBI intake form from July 2019 details harrowing accusations from a woman who says she was repeatedly abducted, drugged, and sexually assaulted in settings tied to the convicted sex offender. Among those named in her account: rapper Jay-Z (Shawn Carter), disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, billionaire financier Leon Black, and former Attorney General William Barr.
(snip). The victim described being snatched from her home in 1996 by an unknown person, only to wake up in what she believed was Epstein’s Florida mansion.

Is it true Epstein's stint in a private high school was with Barr's father as headmaster? Does not mean Barr is a pedophile, might mean he saw Epstein as a family friend and was oblivious.

This has a stench of fantasy. Is there any actual evidence for this story?
It reminds me of the fantastic stories of child abuse and 'killing ponies' which was invented by a few kids, IIRC, in the LA area at a child care center.
May well be real, but I would like to see so MN e physical evidence to support this.

Bill Barr? Really? At one time, some of us liked him, then didn't like him for anti-Trump treachery, and now this Pedophile Island stuff. What are we to believe, other than that mankind is sinful, and is in need of redemption? If the Old Testament law were fairly applied to humanity, there would be damn few people in heaven. None, in fact.

The potential for "bandwagon fraud" is pretty high here. Many rich and influential people knew Epstein. I'll wait.

This would explain Barr's complete treachery as AG. Now what about Bondi?

Poster #3 is right. This reminds me of the hallucinations of daycare children in the '80's. Epstein was a creep, and up to no good, but simple reporting of this malarkey from an unnamed witness is unfair to those named. I truly doubt Bill Barr, whatever his complicity in covering up an Epstein suicide, was hanging around when rapes were committed. Maybe so, but I don't believe it and don't believe the account is credible.

Throws light on the Bill Barr fraud where he went to investigate the Epstein suicide personally -- for half a day, then came back and told us it was a suicide, nothing further to investigate. Bill Barr has very impressive investigative skills.

The "victim" blew it when she included Bill Barr in her story. I don't believe it for a minute, and he isn't one of my favorites.

What is not a hallucination is this hard cold fact, "Black, the Apollo Global Management co-founder, settled a lawsuit in 2023 accusing him of rape, paying $62.5 million without admitting liability". That is insane but they left out the 2nd part of it. In 2023, Black agreed to pay $62.5 million to the U.S. Virgin Islands government. This was a settlement to resolve and release him from any current or future legal claims related to the territory's investigation into Epstein's sex-trafficking activities (Epstein owned property there). The agreement was reached in January 2023 but became public in July 2023. My question is what did the Virgin Islands do with the money? Did it help the victims? Zero of the money went to any victims it went all the the government. That does not sound shady at all, eh?

Calm down. Its an unproven accusation. Personally, I'm very skeptical.

Being raped would be bad enough - - but even worse - - she may have had to listen to Barr play the bagpipes.
Inhuman cruelty!

I have no trouble believing any part of this story. I remember when Ted Kennedy’s nephew raped that girl. Every male in the bar in which I worked expressed skepticism, including one old guy who insisted that it was physically impossible to rape a woman because he had once tried. I was appalled then, and I am appalled now.

'Present' is vague on purpose, so that whatever actually happened can be revealed a little at a time to keep us interested.
