The Final Brick in the Vaccine Efficacy Narrative

Original Article

Two key bricks seem to have already fallen from the COVID vaccines’ narrative—the one about their fantastic efficacy against infections and the one about their superb safety. However, one stubborn narrative brick seems to stand still, leading many people to believe that the booster doses of the vaccines are capable of providing long-term protection against severe illness and deaths (despite their failure to protect against infections). But is this brick really that strong? Does the existing scientific literature really support the notion that the two types of protection are independent from each other

Had my Medicare yearly checkup last week. Doctor asked me if I wanted a covid shot. I said nope and he laughed. He said he can't even pay his patients to take a covid shot. Told him they lied from the start. It is not a vaccine. Said he couldn't argue with that thinking.

Even my most ardent pro-jab friends are now disgusted with the whole "vaccine" myth fostered by the CDC and Fauci. Before the COVID debacle, I was mostly pro-vaccines. Now I've become a vaccine skeptic. The only vaccines I'll take are the ones that are thoroughly tested and have been around for years. I particularly won't take the ones that only promise "a less severe case."

I, too, came under a good deal of pressure to get the jab, as I have had some serious health issues. One time the doc told me if I were to get covid I would die. I had on my flat affect visage. lol I don't take covid lightly. A very good friend who is in his 40s and VERY healthy got a monster of a case. His wife fought the hospital to prevent them from putting him on remdesivir. Fauci et al must be put on trial so that everything can be exposed. I have a feeling that aside from experimenting with how easy would it be to lock down and control millions of Americans, they HAD to get rid of President Trump and America First because the NWO is the pagan world's new idol, its new god, to which leftists and fascists the world over are scurrying like rats to bow down and offer sacrifices.

I was visiting a pulmonologist today with a relative, discussing a lung condition and the treatment. At one point the doctor mentioned that she had a different patient who had a similar lung issue after COVID and then "and later she got COVID again, and the lung problems came back, too". I thought instantly - yep, if you were suckered into these mRNA shots, you will be able to be reinfected. But I didn't say anything, not on topic at that point. But, I am pretty sure that if you didn't take the mRNA shots (not vaccine) and you recovered from an infection, you will never get infected again. I can't prove it, but I don't need to prove it, I am certain of it in my mind, and I really don't care much what others may believe - disinformed by the CDC. I know a number of "vaccinated" people who have been reinfected, but no folks who got over it naturally who have been reinfected. Perhaps my sample size is too small.

I work in an office with your typical believe-anything-the-media-tells-them core Democrat voters. They all are fully vaccinated. All told me how stupid I was not to get it. One is now on permanent disability after a massive stroke, one has had a series of heart attacks and probably will be taking early retirement and the other has cancer. No of them had pre-existing conditions. I wonder if any of them are even questioning the narrative.

Wow, #6. Most here know my COVID story - 10 weeks in the hospital, nearly died, and 6 months off work. God's grace, the love and prayers of family and friends, and medical knowledge from same brought me through. This September it will be 2 years since I was wheeled down the driveway on a stretcher. Only our middle son and his wife got the shot. We pray for them. My wife and I have reminisced a number of times, trying to re-create the timeline. Our biggest red flags were the government heavy-handedness and the speed with which this "vaccine" was rammed through. We are glad we didn't get it. I still see random people at work with masks on. They probably will never change.

Fox News Ouster Will Impact Republicans

Bill O’Reilly has predicted that Tucker Carlson’s departure from Fox News could negatively affect the 2024 presidential race for Republicans. (snip) Carlson’s departure “will have a tremendous effect on the future of the Fox News channel, no doubt about that, but more importantly on Republican politics in the 2024 presidential election.” O’Reilly argued that Carlson’s departure from Fox News, combined with the death of conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh in 2021, has diminished the influence of conservative voices in the news media environment—and that it will now take longer for conservative ideas to permeate beyond Republican and conservative circles and into the conversations of independent voters.

One of the most understated yet important aspects of Tucker Carlson’s tenure at Fox News was his unique ability to bridge a seemingly unbridgeable generational divide. Whether he was exploring more complicated topics via long-form documentaries, interviewing the world’s wealthiest man, or simply telling the Republican Party to get its act together, people of all ages tuned in. Grandparents and grandkids alike genuinely love him. And perhaps this, in part, is why he was able to so easily mainstream the thoughts, theories, and brands of pseudonymous Twitter users who historically have been relegated to the dark corners of the internet (snip) If a voice has utility, he gives it

House Republicans passed a bill package Wednesday to raise the debt limit through early next year while deeply reducing government spending, setting up a contentious standoff with Democrats as the bill heads to the Senate. The legislation, called the Limit, Save, Grow Act of 2023, passed 217 to 215 with no Democrat support. Reps. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Tim Burchett (R-KY), and Ken Buck (R-CO) defected. The passage is a victory for House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), who touts the bill as a negotiating tool that forces President Joe Biden and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) into talks with him on spending cuts in exchange for a debt limit
