Biden's Lackluster Announcement: Democrats
Not Excited for Second Term

President Joe Biden on Tuesday announced his intention to run for a second term in the White House, and nobody cares, including his base. Biden’s announcement, which was highly anticipated by absolutely no one, came in a video titled “Freedom.” In the video, the president reiterated his tired old diatribes about fighting for the “soul of our nation,” fighting for “democracy” and “blah blah blah.” While some in the activist media are unsuccessfully trying to garner excitement for this development, recent polling suggests that even Democrats aren’t all that enthused about Biden seeking another nap term as president. According to a recent CBS News/YouGov poll, only 22 percent of Democrats expressed excitement

I heard that Susan Rice has or is leaving The HairSniffer's administration. It seems that some other prominent White House staff member also recently left. Who is going to program The HairSniffer's Teleprompter going forward?

The article talked about voter enthusiasm. The enthusiasm for Trump was off the charts in 2020 and look what good that did us. My foreboding for 2024 is an exhausting weight I carry everyday.

Corporate Media Freaks Out over GOP’s
AI-Generated Campaign Ad

In what looks to be a first for American politics, the Republican National Committee released an AI-generated campaign ad yesterday in response to Joe Biden announcing his reelection bid. Although the RNC disclosed that the ad was AI-generated, the corporate media still went into freakout mode. The 30-second ad, called “Beat Biden,” uses AI image generation to produce images of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and images of some doom-laden hypothetical scenarios if the current occupant of the White House wins re-election. Fears about the potential of AI technology range from the mundane, like entertainment companies worried about copyright infringement, to confident predictions from AI experts

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) has punched back at Disney’s lawsuit, with his team saying Disney is trying to “undermine the will” of Florida voters and has “no legal right to corporate welfare.” The Walt Disney Co. filed a lawsuit against DeSantis in federal court Wednesday, claiming the Republican governor is waging a “targeted campaign of government retaliation” in the ongoing fight over Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Law, which has been smeared by the mainstream news media as “Don’t Say Gay.” After the California-based Disney publicly threatened to fight to repeal the Florida law, DeSantis stripped the company of its self-governing privileges in the Orlando area
Nikki Haley is auditioning for Trump VP slot 6 replies

Nikki Haley doesn’t have a prayer to become the next President of the United States, although she is a viable VP candidate for sure. I’ve always had a generally positive impression of her. She is smart, was a good governor, and one of the most reliable and well-spoken of the Trump appointees. With that said, I was pretty stunned by her cheap shot at Ron DeSantis. I am pretty sure that it will alienate quite a number of people, although to me it’s pretty clear that Republican voters are not the intended recipients of her message. Looking at the language of the tweet her message is clear: she is on board with

Former President Donald Trump has lost an emergency attempt to block former Vice President Mike Pence from testifying about their direct conversations, in the latest boost to a federal criminal investigation examining Trump's and others' actions after the 2020 election. The former president has repeatedly tried and failed to close off some answers from witnesses close to him in the special counsel's investigation. This latest order from the DC Circuit Court of Appeals likely will usher in Pence's grand jury testimony quickly -- an unprecedented development in modern presidential history. The unanimous decision, from Judges Patricia Millett, Robert Wilkins and Greg Katsas on the DC Circuit,

Steven Spielberg participated in a master class at the Time 100 Summit and announced he regrets editing guns out of “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.” The film’s 1982 theatrical cut includes a scene of officers chasing young kids with firearms. Spielberg edited the guns out for the 20th anniversary release of the film and replaced the firearms with walkie talkies. “That was a mistake,” Spielberg said. “I never should have done that. ‘E.T.’ is a product of its era. No film should be revised based on the lenses we now are, either voluntarily, or being forced to peer through.” “‘E.T.’ was a film that I was sensitive

New York - First Republic Bank is in a fight for its survival. The past few weeks have been brutal for the San Francisco-based lender. Now, some analysts say a collapse of the bank is imminent. "It's becoming clearer each day" that First Republic is "toast," said Don Bilson at Gordon Haskett, in a note Wednesday. "The only question that really needs to be answered is whether the [Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation] moves in before the weekend or during the weekend, which is when it usually does its thing." The bank reported on Monday that its total deposits fell 41% in the first quarter, sending its stock to record lows. Shares

A politician does not have to be a woman in order to opine on the abortion issue, but it's probably not a coincidence that it was the first woman to enter the Republican presidential primary who gave the most profound pro-life speech since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Nikki Haley delivered the speech that ought to be the defining one for the entire right aisle of the issue, and every pro-life politician wishing to actually do something other than fundraise off of the matter ought to take note. The speech by the former ambassador to the United Nations, delivered to the Susan B. Anthony List,

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to end a boycott of 30 states that passed conservatives laws after the rule proved costly and ineffective. The board voted 7-4 to repeal a 2016 law that prohibited city employees from traveling to or doing business with companies in states that passed conservative laws. The board of supervisors first enacted the law in an effort to punish states that had enacted what it viewed as restrictions on LGBT rights after the Supreme Court’s decision in Obergefell v. Hodges legalized same-sex marriage nationwide. Since 2015, the board had amended the law to include states that, in its view
