In an unprecedented move, twenty armed Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agents carried out a raid on a gun store in Great Falls, Montana, seizing all Form 4473s – documents that record buyer’s information during firearms transactions.
Tom Van Hoose, owner of Highwood Creek Outfitters, alleges that he has been under constant surveillance by state and federal agencies for over two years, KRTV reported.
On Wednesday, the gun shop owner reported an unexpected visit from 20 heavily armed IRS agents at his store.
The agents reportedly arrived at the shop early in the morning, as Van Hoose was opening for the day.

Meghan Markle could become one of the highest paid influencers in the world, receiving £200,000 per post to endorse brands, experts have suggested, as she is tipped to become the new face of French fashion house Dior.
The Duchess of Sussex was dealt a blow by audio giant Spotify earlier this week after it was announced that they would not be renewing her podcast Archetypes for a second season following a 'mutual' decision - a move that could see Meghan and Prince Harry lose $10 million.
But Meghan is set to weather the storm,

Presidential hopeful Mike Pence won't say whether he would pardon Donald Trump, claiming that the former president could still be found innocent in his federal indictment.
Trump's former VP shared with NBC host Chuck Todd that he was hoping Trump would 'come around' to accepting the results of the 2020 election by now.
Pence is now running against his former boss in the 2024 primary – and argued that Trump is not the same leader he was when they ran together in 2016.

Merrick Garland began his tenure as attorney general with the stated intention of restoring faith in the Justice Department and the rule of law. By that standard, Garland has been a failure.
In fact, if anything, the crisis of faith surrounding his department has only deepened on his watch, and he bears some of the blame. Polls show that half the country distrusts the FBI. A recent poll by Harvard CAPS-Harris found that 70 percent are either very or somewhat concerned about election interference by the FBI and other intelligence agencies. An additional 71 percent agreed that changes post-2016 had not done enough to prevent further interference and

Former President Obama wants the government to be able to track and hunt down Americans by their fingerprints if they dare spread so-called "misinformation." During an interview with podcast host David Axelrod, Obama called for implementing "digital fingerprints" as a mandatory online requirement to combat misinformation.
The Democrat suggested the government needs a way to track and identify people who spread so-called "misinformation" online.
The CNN podcaster claimed he has seen "misinformation, disinformation, [and] deep fakes" targeting the former president, which Obama agreed with

Former FBI agent Peter Strzok said Friday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that former President Donald Trump was a “counterintelligence nightmare still to this day” while discussing his classified document indictment.
Strzok said, “I’d say Donald Trump is a counterintelligence nightmare still to this day. It reminds me back when all our kids were toddlers, and you’d have to go to a long car ride, and you say OK, take your little backpack, go to your room, pick two toys that you’re going to put in there and go on the road and then you’re going to play with it. For Trump, these things are shiny baubles. They are like Shaq’s shoe,

Monday, the nineteenth of June, is our newest federal holiday (just 2 years old), Juneteenth, and federal workers get yet another day’s pay without having to work for it. Since the federal workforce is heavily overrepresented with black workers (18.2% of the federal workforce versus 12.6% of the population), the words “disparate impact” come to mind, benefitting African Americans with a paid holiday that not too many other employees get, judging by the fact that I was able to book two appointments with service providers tomorrow before I even realized Monday was holiday.

Five people were killed and at least 42 were injured in multiple shootings as violence erupted across the country over the holiday weekend.
A shooting at a Juneteenth celebration in a suburban Illinois town left one person dead after at least 20 people were shot outside a shopping center overnight.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. on Route 83 near Honeysuckle Lane in Willowbrook, Illinois, Battalion Chief Joe Ostrander with the Tri-State Fire Protection District told WLS.

Former Vice President Mike Pence on Friday criticized former President Donald Trump's position on abortion and the national debt, accusing his old boss of drifting away from conservative principles.
"Look, in 2016, Donald Trump promised to govern as a conservative," Pence said in an interview with NBC News’ Chuck Todd to air in full Sunday on “Meet the Press.” "But he makes no such promise today. Not only has he been walking away from a clear commitment to the right to life, but, look, we have a national debt the size of our nation’s economy. "Donald Trump’s position on the national debt is identical to Joe Biden’s," he said.

Scott is the only Black candidate in the 2024 Republican presidential primary race and Haley is Indian American.
Which has got to leave a sour taste in Scott's mouth, given that he's the only black man in the presidential race, and what's more, he's actually lived firsthand through the era of real racism as a child growing up in the South.
Asked about Scott’s messaging, Obama said there was sometimes a tendency among Republican candidates to gloss over the effects of racism, arguing that candidates need to address racial disparities to be taken seriously on the subject of American unity.

To say there were more reporters in attendance than fans when the Dodgers honored the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence at Dodger Stadium Friday night, would not be a major exaggeration.
Sister Unity and Sister Dominia stood to represent the “Sisters” and receive their Community Heroes Award as the public address announcer made the announcement official in front of what appeared to be roughly 50 fans – at least two of which were loudly booing – and assembled media. [Tweet] Meanwhile, outside the stadium, thousands of pro-Catholic demonstrators protested and, at one point, even blocked one of the main entrances to the stadium. The protest drew the support of non-Catholics as well.

The transgender issue makes everyone crazy. That’s the only explanation I can give for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) berating the state of Florida for executing Duane Owen, who was convicted of raping and murdering a 14-year-old babysitter and a 38-year-old mother of two.
Indeed, the ACLU is strongly opposed to capital punishment. But the organization only made passing reference to their opposition to the death penalty. Instead, they were livid with Florida for executing Duane Owen because the state refused to allow Owen to “transition” to female. (Snip) “No one should be killed by the state. The time to end the racist, unfair, and cruel death penalty is now,”
