Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg reportedly asked Judge Juan Marchan to hold the trial of former President Donald Trump in January 2024, which happens to be the middle of the presidential primary season.
Fox News reporter Jake Gibson, who was in the courtroom, said that prosecutors had asked for the January 2024 trial date. The Iowa caucuses — the first contest in the Republican primary — will be on February 5, 2024.That means prosecutors want a trial that would undoubtedly affect the race for the Republican nomination, both by distracting the current frontrunner, and by tarnishing him relative to other candidates in the race.

Guess that’ll give the Deep State adequate time to manufacture all the needed documents. F the left. F the democrats. F Alvin Bragg. F George Soros. And, F the GOPe and the Never Trumpers.

The process has no integrity. Much like the two impeachments by The House. If the DA cannot present the underlying felony crime that is required to make his case, the case cannot be made. End this charade now! The process is the punishment. We've seen enough of this BS/

That dirty ugly crook. That’s why they waited so long after the statute of limitations ran out. God I despise them.

In the words of the Psalmist, “How long must we wait. Will the righteous suffer forever at the hands of the haughty and wicked?” (My paraphrase…)
It’s been a long struggle, but we just have to pray and prepare ourselves.
At mass on Sunday, there was an interactive reading of the Gospel. Herod washed his hands and said of Jesus, “what would you have me do? He has done no wrong.” The response that we the parishioners gave was, “Let him be crucified. Let him be crucified.” (Again, my paraphrase.)
At this time of the year, it’s good to meditate deeply on how the news reflects what we Christians believe and teach.

There was a time when they used to try to hide their motives. Now they don’t see the need. We are fast running out of runway.

I think what we need to focus on here is the last stanza of the old hymn Once to Every Man and Nation:
Though the cause of evil prosper
Yet ‘tis truth alone is strong
Though her portion be the scaffold
And upon the throne be wrong
Yet that scaffold sways the future
And behind the dim unknown
Standeth God within the shadows
Keeping watch above His own

The notion of a “ speedy trial “ is fantasy!

Trump ought to MAKE him bring it in under 180days or dismiss. He has had 5 YEARS to prep for this, IF he has a case he ought to ask for a courtroom TOMORROW.
Don't make a yuuuuge deal of indicting if you cannot go straight to trial.

And poster #5, why don't they need to hide their motives anymore? Because they can CHEAT their way to victory in any election, that's why!

I doubt that there will be a trial.
This insanity can't continue.

This is so ridiculously obvious, who couldn't see that schedule coming? This gives Bragg and his inquisitors plenty of time to leak salacious material about Trump and the porn/beauty queens he may have bedded, or not, and all the "fraud" committed in their payoffs for silence. This is when the sleaze gets ramped up, the smearing more serious...fishing for denials, hoping to set off the "high morals" alarms among primary voters, that taliban-like group that has run off GOP politicians for less. Let's see how the Master flips this.

I wonder who told him that he wanted the trial then.
I doubt very seriously that Bragg is smart enough to figure out something like that himself, affirmative Action puppet that he is.

The whole focus of the indictments is to ensure that Donald Trump is the nominee. The trial schedule confirms it.

From the movie “Steel Magnolias,” this saying
Comes to mind: “That which does not kill us only makes us stronger.” The saying applies to Mr. Trump in so many ways, but especially this banana republic indictment.
