Seize property to build wind and solar

The chief executive of JP Morgan has suggested that governments should seize private land to build wind and solar farms in order to meet net zero targets. Jamie Dimon, the longstanding boss of the Wall Street titan who donates to the Democratic Party, said green energy projects must be fast-tracked as the window for averting the most costly impacts of global climate change is closing. (Snip) “We may even need to evoke eminent domain – we simply are not getting the adequate investments fast enough for grid, solar, wind and pipeline initiatives.”

Drilling oil up out of the earth is one thing. Creating huge pits by digging for rare earth for all of the batteries is another. Which is worse for the environment. How is it good for the environment to cover tillable land with solar panels. How is it good to kill the birds with windmills that don't work when the wind doesn't blow or it gets cold, or when they break down they have to bury the propellers. The consequences of the crazed work of the greenies is going to be much worse than me driving a gasoline powered car and having a gas stove.

I think John Kerry should be first to surrender a few of his mansions. Demolish them and build wind farms on the land. All climate change devotees should then follow suit. Offer any land they own and give it to the government for your favorite cause. It’s the very least you can do. And all the fsrmlefties in Minnesota, isn’t that where there’s a lot of lithium? Donate your homes, have them razed, and give it up for the cause.

What they seem to be admitting is that the Paris Accords were not workable, right? After all, the goals had until 2100 to be met, which is still 77 years away. I'm also reminded that they aren't stupid in China, India and other countries, so why aren't they as concerned about rapidly moving into the schemes being pushed in the Western countries, particularly the United States? As far as lack of space, there are massive amounts of square feet on nearly every home, office building, school, university, and warehouse all across the United States that could be used to install solar panels, for instance.

I really hate to say anything against women, first of all because it usually results in a slap in the face from one of them, but the vast majority of corporations in this country that have female CEOs are circling the drain. Ford, GM, Chase, the old Hewlett Packard, to name a few, and it's always about their stupid idolization of leftist causes. Eminent Domain can be a fair action if the benefit of the seizure is a huge improvement for the majority but windmills have never done anything more than pump water for Holland and give Cervantes a prominent presence in classic literature. Don't make me withdraw my money because of your ignorance, Jamie.

The Federal government is the largest property owner in the U.S.A. If they really wanted wind and solar farms they could create massive numbers of them. They won't do it however, because that's not the point, as made clear by the elitist scum, Jamie Dimon. It's always been about confiscation of property from private citizens and "repurposing" it for the "public good," just as the EU is doing in the Netherlands what with the taking away the farms and ranches from citizens to reduce carbon emissions. This is Global Tyranny on a scale never seen before being brought about by a group of power hungry billionaire fools.

And so it begins. The Communist plan to take over the United States MUST include the seizure of private property. That climate change is not a serious threat means nothing; they must have a pretense for seizing private property in order to "save the planet." The planet doesn't need saving but America does, from Communism. That the CEO of a major Financial Inst. is on board with this is shocking. What's next? Seize private dwellings to house Green workers for wind and solar? This is moving very quickly and it's all bad for liberty.

Give up your property as an example Dimon. After all, your suggestion means you should lead the way. I don't believe he understands ED at all. The way he talks about it, sounds like he wants to commit theft instead of reimbursing people for their land being taken. Of course the democrats back after WWII didn't follow it either. They took all the property and wealth from the Japanese and then proceeded to refuse to reimburse them for it. Very unconstitutional.

Public education has long been a battlefield in the U.S., from the Scopes trial to desegregation to climate change. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s recent demands for greater control over public education—and students’ bodies—in the guise of “parent’s rights” accelerates this conflict, rejecting the importance of learning as a public good in itself in favor of promoting conformity and uncritical thinking. As a historian of fascism and Italian fascist education, I find the moves to exert more power over education disturbingly familiar. Even ignoring the obvious harm DeSantis’s campaign inflicts on Florida’s students—already detailed by numerous experts

President Biden invited the three Tennessee Democrats who faced expulsion votes to the White House Friday, a day after two of them were ousted from the state legislature for protesting against gun violence. Biden’s invite and conference call with the trio came on the same day Vice President Kamala Harris traveled to Nashville to meet with the lawmakers dubbed the “Tennessee Three.” The White House has not announced if Biden has invited the family members of the six victims of last week’s deadly shooting at the Covenant School – which precipitated the protest at the Tennessee statehouse – to Washington, DC.

In a tweet Saturday night, Blumenthal said a fellow parade goer tripped and fell on him during the event in Hartford, Connecticut, to celebrate the team winning the NCAA basketball title on April 4 in Houston. The 77-year-old Democrat said he was awaiting “routine surgery” on his femur scheduled for Sunday and expects a full recovery. “What can I say, I love a parade!” he tweeted.

The list of American companies and corporations facing backlash and the threat of boycotts as they fall like dominos to the woke mob seems to increase daily. One of the latest is Anheuser-Busch (AB InBev), after recently joining forces with transgender TikTok personality Dylan Mulvaney to promote Bud Light. This latest marketing decision does not seem to be a good one for the beer giant from the outset. On Thursday, Wil Fischer Distributing, located in the Springfield Missouri area, canceled all upcoming appearances of the iconic Anheuser-Busch Clydesdale horse team. The distributorship cited concerns about the safety of their employees in the wake of reaction surrounding the partnership

Anthony Fauci, the former chief medical advisor under Biden, warned another pandemic will be coming soon. Speaking at a town hall discussion with Jim Acosta earlier this week, Fauci said “there will absolutely be an outbreak of another pandemic.” Fauci said a pandemic could come as early as next year. In March, Fauci made headlines after he suggested Americans will be “required” to get COVID-19 booster shots annually for the foreseeable future.
